Spent over $1,300 for a consult and spay just for them to be closed for 2 days in a row with less than a 24 hour notice. Waited over 30 minutes at the initial consult appointment. Day of the spay appointment, I drop my cat off at 8:00 AM and was not even given a phone call with an update. Tried to call them for an update at 1:45: PHONES OFF!!!!! Called at 2:00 PM to find out the my cat has BEEN SITTING IN A KENNEL AND STILL MOT SPAYED! She was not spayed until 3:00 in the afternoon with the excuse that "it's busy" but they'll put her under and give her something to come back up. AN 8lb CAT?! She's not a science project. She was in a kennel for more time than she was in recovery which was a little less THAN 2 HOURS! Arrived at 5:30 for the pick up and Waited over 15 minutes in an empty lobby until someone decided to step out from the back. Brought my cat home with oral gabapentin and she could not tolerate it. Was advised by a TECH to continue giving oral gabapentin when my cat was clearly adversed to it and told me to call back if she was still having problems. Tried to call back and they were closed from 12:00 on Friday until that Monday. Not even ONE doctor on staff? Closure announcement made LESS THAN 24 hours in advanced AND made through their GOOGLE ACCOUNT? Not even an email or automated phone call to inform patients? Sketchy business, sketchy service and I will NEVER go back. I will be letting everyone I know to steer clear of this vet unless they want to spend a grand for lousy service.

You will need them for your next visit. They keep a record of your pet's visits, which consists of an index card with pet information and services provided. There is a limit of twenty-five pets seen per day. If you get there after 8:00 AM, there are already twenty-five people there, and you will not be seen. There is always a line and it starts at the side stairs, not at the front door of the building. I made the mistake of using the front door entrance and was sent to the back of the line, which was on the side of the building that I did not know existed. Cats have to be in carriers and dogs have to be on leashes. They ask for a donation.

She was very temperamental, particular, and hated going to the vet. BAH was great at creating a calmer environment and anticipating our visits by calling and being able to schedule picking up gabapentin for my easily distressed cat. They helped us when she was diagnosed with diabetes and through the progression of the disease. They were so hospitable and caring when she passed away and gave me space to spend with her after her final moments. Called MSPC Angell in JP to ask if they could help and do Sialadenectomy for less since their doctor at Nevins Farm caused the issue pulling teeth before her adoption. (Problem is not on her intake form but is on adoption forms so injury happened w them.) I was told no. They need to $265 for evaluate to see if she needs Sialadenectomy even though 2 other vets said she does. Surgery will be well over $6500. Told me I am to pay full price but they accept financing or I can put it on a card because its so expensive. The woman literally laughed at me. Audibly laughed at me. This poor dog will probably be put down because pet insurance wont cover it. (pre- existing condition). Her current vet can't do it. Can't find a vet who actually cares. MSPCA won't help even though they caused it. And I dont have thousands to pay for what she needs. Heartbroken. My poor girl.

Initially we thought the bird was dead, but it wasn't. However, it was very lethargic. We tried to provide it some heat and thought it might be a good idea to bring it to Boston commons. On our way there, we stumbled upon VEG ER for pets which was open 24 hours and had images of birds and other animals displaying on their TV (it can be care to find vets that care for avians). They let us in, we explained the situation, and they gave us two fair options - let the vet check it out and if they determine there is little hope for recovery, ethically euthanize it, or, if it does show signs of recovery after 30 min - 1 hr, they'd bring it to Boston Commons. We didn't have time to stick around for the final decision, but I do hope it did recover. The staff there was really friendly, thanked us for being good Samaritans, and had us fill out a form. They also did offer us complimentary snacks and beverages. I was satisfied with my unexpected visit here.

Many errors occurred in how this was handled, I understand that things happen but when I am expressing my frustration over the miss-information and miss-handling of my dogs remains (my dog that had been a patient there for 13 years), I expect more than "I don't know what you want me to say I have already apologized". I tried to handle this off-line with the business owners and received zero response. What a sad way to handle a relationship that has spanned over 20+ years.

Then we found this place always has a spot because of some reason... when we go into the place and meet the vet, she doesn't even look into my dog in detail but keep telling us "your dog is under great pain". While at the meantime, my dog is enjoying the treats and looks chill... then the doctor give us 5 bottle of medicine and tell us our dog need them for "anti-anxiety", which actually scares me because my dog never takes that much medicine even after the spay surgery. By the time I told the doctor that I don't want to take that much medicine, she suddenly becomes angry and keeps repeating "your dog is under great pain and this is the worst case I've ever seen in my whole career ". I know how my dog react when she is pain and it's definitely not the case. After leaving this clinic, I when to 5 more vets including emergency, all of them told me that my dog's teeth is not a big deal. Which proves that the doctor in this place is just a lier and trying to push me to pay for the medicine. I chose one of the other vet place to do the surgery and my dog is healthy and happy now. Once again, please avoid this vet and find somewhere else. Your dog deserves better rather than these unprofessional doctors who try to drug your dog and steal your money!!!
