My cat has been a patient at the clinic for almost 10 years . Dr Randy and the staff are amazing ! My cat is super difficult and they always make sure the visits go smoothly. They are very understanding and I love how they stay in touch the days following a procedure to check on my cat. From routine visits to dental surgeries I always had a very positive experience . The vet visits are less stressful for my cat and also for me ! I highly recommend this place .

Have you ever felt very calm in a stressful situation? Especially when it comes to your pet? This is how I feel when Boston Veterinary Clinic has my Dog, Bruiser. They are a no fear clinic which puts me at ease. The staff goes out of their way to help, and makes you feel ok when things aren't going well. Today Bruiser was back because he hurt his neck. The Surgeon came out to get him and wrapped him in a blanket to carry him in. Dr Brian stayed late today, just to see Bruiser himself. The front desk woman, Today I think Breana was so sweet and professional. This is the treatment I always get when I come here but today was very stressful and they made me feel ok. Andrea who typically helps me out is also extremely exceptional and is sometimes at the other location. Also, they have a very well thought out plan for dealing with animals during the pandemic so don't let that stop you! Thank you all so much for everything. Bruiser, Rich and I can't thank you enough for loving animals like you do.

My dog is very nervous at the vet. We've had him for nearly 2.5 years and in that time we've taken him to three veterinary practices. This is the only one we have completely trusted! He's a nervous wreck when we get in, but once he calms down and gets some of those Polkadog treats from the front desk, he stops shaking. No dog really likes the vet (does any human like the doctor?) but the people here are always so considerate with him. They've never once tried to push him past his limit with procedures (nail cutting specifically) and are very considerate with how many shots they'll do at a time. I fully trust this vet practice to take care of my dog because they treat him like he's one of their own! Highly recommend.

I recently got 2 kitties and both of them come to the BVC. They see Dr. Joey/Dr.Danielle, who've taken really good care of my kitties. I love that this clinic offers fear free treatments, which I feel is very important especially for new kitties during COVID19. Due to COVID19, we only drop off our furry friends and pick them back up when the examinations are over, which is why I love the idea of fear free, that I won't have to worry about my kitties being anxious or nervous :) They call you after settling your pet in and they really give you all the time you need to ask any questions you need. Everyone who works here love working with your pets and I really appreciate their enthusiasm as I can't be inside with my kitties, I can count on them to take very good care of them. I would suggest heading over a bit earlier than your appointment as their parking lot is not huge and there isn't always a guaranteed spot. Its not a really crowded area so there are places to park and sit in your car. Head over earlier to find a spot nearby :) But this location is right next to the ramp to 90 West and has very close access to the 93N and S. Its in a fairly convenient location. I highly recommend this clinic once again for the following reasons: fear free, how much the staff cares for your companians, and accessible!

Chili waiting to be taken cared of by the staff!

Great clean place but this place is way way to expensive. The puppy plan the first year is worth it but after that go else where.

My last visit would sadly be my last as my family made the difficult and painful decision to put him down. Its taken me a little over a week to write something but I know I wanted to tell everyone about this location. Numerous issues, including a cancer diagnosis, coupled with his old age after a surgery at his home vet. The staff were always so sweet and caring with him. They even managed to entertain him with some classical music when he was a little yappy! He lived a long, happy spoiled life. I miss him everyday. My first pet out of high school, we were almost never apart. I think that knowing he was in the best possible hands near the end helped take some of my guilt grief away. Every single person was amazing and I just know that profession cannot be easy. God, my sister and I cried for hours and we were never rushed. Dr.Silverstone, thank you for always being straight with us but also extremely professional and kind. They contract out to help with end of life arrangements and cremation, if you choose. 'epaws' or something. The arrangements were done quickly but not so quickly that you worry about disrespect, you know? A week later and I have his urn and we've set up a memorial in the house for him. No one wants to think about these things but pricing is transparent and gotten out of the way quickly. And yes, it's pricy but what isn't? This is emergency care. Get pet insurance!!!! Honestly, I would have gone bankrupt if it helped but there is unfortunately a limit to things that can be treated and the doctor said it best: "age is not a disease". So hopefully your fur babies live long, happy lives and that you only have to go for minor inconveniences but if you do have an emergency, this location was clean, professional and fairly easy to get to. I had broken my ankle last year so walking has been a challenge but I got around just fine, even carrying around my 20lb lump of love. Thank you all again. I don't know when I'll be ready for another pet but I don't regret all the years of love. Once time has softened the pain, and years go by, I hope you all stick around and do what you ALL have done so well and maybe I'll see you again...Hopefully under better circumstances. Wishing you all love and peace and kindness.

Initially we thought the bird was dead, but it wasn't. However, it was very lethargic. We tried to provide it some heat and thought it might be a good idea to bring it to Boston commons. On our way there, we stumbled upon VEG ER for pets which was open 24 hours and had images of birds and other animals displaying on their TV (it can be care to find vets that care for avians). They let us in, we explained the situation, and they gave us two fair options - let the vet check it out and if they determine there is little hope for recovery, ethically euthanize it, or, if it does show signs of recovery after 30 min - 1 hr, they'd bring it to Boston Commons. We didn't have time to stick around for the final decision, but I do hope it did recover. The staff there was really friendly, thanked us for being good Samaritans, and had us fill out a form. They also did offer us complimentary snacks and beverages. I was satisfied with my unexpected visit here.
