I haven't lived here in over two years, but my experience here was so awful it has kept me up even…read morenow - years later. Looks like they started a new page cus their old one was getting bad reviews: SCN development, Nelson family Properties, it's all the same and they're horrible. These reviews are not disgruntled tenants - I've lived in rental properties for 10 years now and this is the only place I feel compelled to actively warn people from YEARS LATER. You can leave the place spotless and they will find anything and everything to get as much money as possible from you. Want to challenge that $1200 paint job that was unnecessary, or the $30 light bulb, or the $200 fee to clean the microwave that you already cleaned when you moved out? They'll send collection notice before you can finish reading their poorly written damage deposit return statement. I've said it it other posts, do your research. Go look at the other aliases for this company and check the Oregon public records. These people are crooks, I just wish I had the time and money to take these people to court.

The management team is incompetent, I make $90k a year as a contractor. Showed them my receipts and…read morebank statements for every order during the application process. They said that wasn't enough information to verify income. Also tried to deny the existence of the billion dollar company I work for. It's just an okay apartment in a horrible location. My entire trip was planned around a show at Campbell Club. I live a very busy life and made a lot…read moreof changes in order to make this work, all because this show had been on their calendar for weeks. Then, less than a week before the event, they admitted they had double-booked the date because they put it on the wrong day in their calendar. That's fine. Sometimes things like that just happen. Instead of making it right, they wanted the band that booked first to move their show to 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. That's ridiculous. People weren't traveling to Eugene to watch an afternoon set while they're at work. The band tried to work with them. They suggested combining the shows, asked to talk it through, and then got ignored. After that, when people started calling out how badly this was handled, the response from the venue wasn't an apology--it was telling people to "eat shit." That's honestly what changed this from a scheduling mistake into a venue I don't want to support. Everyone screws up sometimes. Most businesses own it and try to fix it. Campbell Club chose to insult the very people who were trying to bring customers through their doors. If you're planning to travel for a show here, I'd think twice. I won't be making that mistake again. Also-- their Instagram says they are a nonprofit organization, it's not.

I made travel arrangements, booked a hotel, and planned a trip specifically to attend a show at…read moreCampbell Club. Less than a week before the event, the venue informed the local band that they had accidentally double-booked the date. According to the band's shared messages, the venue had the incorrect date in its calendar and didn't realize the mistake until the last minute--even though the event had been advertised on their website for over a month. The proposed solution was to ask the band to play earlier in the day as part of a festival, which is not what anyone had planned or paid to attend. It's a Thursday. Nobody's going to see a show at 2pm. Mistakes happen, but waiting until people have already spent money on hotels, travel, and time off before announcing a cancellation is unacceptable. This especially hurts local bands that rely on these opportunities and the fans who support them. I understand accidents happen, but communication and accountability matter. Based on this experience, I can't recommend this venue and won't be planning future trips around events hosted here.

The nice lady I spoke with on the phone had a new one delivered. As I was recovering from major surgery and needed a recliner to sit in. That's when things began to go south. The first day that we used the dish washer, a swarm of small black ants appeared. We called and the lady we had spoken to initially had quit (she was very unhappy with how she had to treat people), the new woman promised to have someone come by to exterminate the ants. No one showed up. We were there with them at their Canyon Road location and never once did someone come to handle the ants. Put neighbors above us also had some strange machine running every single day early in the morning, right above our bedroom. We complained, but nothing was done. We also had to deal with construction being done the entire 2 months that we were there. They'd start at 6am and end at 7pm. The noise was unbearable. They were repainting and repairing the structure apparently. For $525 a week for a one bedroom, these things are ridiculous. There should be no ants, no damaged things. The screen door had a huge hole in it, and my 3 years old cat got out of it and fell off of the balcony! Thank God that he was OK, with no injuries, but this screen should have been fixed before we were moved into the place. Very unhappy with their service. Don't go to them. It's much better to just stomach the cost for a hotel or extended stay hotel.
