Absolutely safe, and Absolutely no criminal element. The grounds are well cared for and Manger Deb takes absolutely no ruckus. The ONLY problem I have seen is that my patio overlooks Hawthorne and it is a short cut for the homeless.

I placed my cell phone behind the toilet for a closer look, only to find mold caked up behind the toilet. (pictures enclosed) The toilet sweat at least 8 moths out of the year, causing me to place a towel at the base which had to be changed every few days. Debbie the manager came over and attempted to blame me. Just as she and her boyfriend--the in house handyman did every time something broke or didn't work. Like the garbage disposal which was broken for a year. Finally when the dishwasher flooded the floor as a result, the weekend maintenance came over and replaced it. By time I moved out 28 months later there was mold growing everywhere. The stove did not work the last 2-months I was there. The refrigerator was broken the last 6-months +. I spent 4-hours defrosting it, only to have it freeze up in again in a week. They came a couple of times more to defrost it but refused to replace it. They continued to blame me for that as well. This continued, wasting hundreds of dollars worth of food. My spices got moldy due to the guttes leaking in the corner wall. The 70 year-old stucco walls are not insulated and suck up moisture. Stucco only has a 50 year shelf life. Fairfield is a health hazard and should be closed down. They even charged me for the Kilz and paint they used to camouflage the problem. The lease said that I wouldn't be charged for repainting the apartment if I lived there for more ten two years. Yet I received a bill for almost $400, charging me $75 per hour for painting over mold. They are covering up a health hazard.
