From the outside this place looks tiny, but that is very deceiving. The interior is large with lots of tables, couches, and separate rooms if needing a quieter space. They have a wide variety of coffee, pastry, and food selections. The barista and kitchen were very helpful. I had a latte- it was fantastic. We will be coming back for sure. There is limited parking so you will most likely have to park on the street and walk.

Veskolini is slightly "off the beaten path" in Dunedin but it's worth the small venture to come here! It's only a few minutes walk from downtown and there are a few parking spots in front of the cafe as well. This is a great place to hang out for awhile, do work, homework or read or whatever. We sat for a few hours with coffee and breakfast getting stuff done and there were a handful of others doing the same. It's a nice atmosphere as well- not too loud and kind of peaceful. They have some good breakfast options, and delicious homemade pastries. We had really wanted to try the rainbow cake as we had seen pictures prior to coming, but it must be popular because they said they were out that day. Oh well, just will have to come back. It was kind of expensive for everything here, but it was at least good. The coffee was enjoyable and strong, and my bagel sandwich was fresh and delightful.

Prices are ridiculous, got a ham and cheese panini, didn't come with any sides and the sandwich only had two very thin slices of ham. Good but not worth the money. $25 for a small panini and coffee. Coffee was ok, sandwich was good.

Great cup of drip coffee and cozy seating! The service was excellent. We got a piece of pistachio baklava! Deeeee-vine!! The coffee menu was large- so many creative tasty options. I was a wee bit hung over so I needed the caffeine to go straight to my veins. No time for fru fru. But if fru fru is what you are seeking, this is for you! Also some lovely gift items sprinkled around the shop. The location is a bit obscure but this hidden gem is worth a visit!

The food was good and so was the service. The prices were high for the portion size. The bagel was on the small side and the egg dish was not very hot when it came to the table. I don't think we will be going back any time soon since there are a lot more places to try out in Dunedin.

The establishment is super cozy. Half is lounge vibes and other half is cafe vibes. The owners are the ones running the show and you can tell they out their whole heart into it. Earl gray latter was perfect on a cold night. Will be back!

Came with a few of my friends for a cup of coffee late afternoon. The atmosphere was very nice, a lot of places to sit and talk. In my opinion, everything was a tad expensive for the portions, and the coffee/pastries weren't crazy good, but they weren't bad either. Glad I tried it, not sure if I'd come back though.

The service was absolutely offensive & so were the prices .. it's almost twenty bucks for a bagel sandwich for instance .. I believe a pregnant woman took our order & acted like we were really annoying her by being there.. Everything about this place screams presumptuous .. See for yourself but service could have redeemed some of it maybe I just got unlucky.

Their sandwiches are amazing and their coffee is even better, but the best part is their tiramisu. My first time trying it was here yet everyone else said it's the best they've ever had. My mom showed me this cafe and ever since i've been craving their coffee. I went again with a friend recently and we got to study in their side room which was perfectly lit with natural lighting and had plenty of plugs to charge our devices! The workers are really sweet and help you find your perfect drink.

Amazing coffeeshop! Quick, friendly service. Quality and delicious food. Stopped in on a Saturday morning. Ordered an iced caramel latte and the avocado egg toast (over hard). The food came out quickly and was so good! The eggs were cooked perfectly. There was a generous amount of topping including tomato, arugula, something like everything bagel seasoning and a little cup of cottage cheese on the side. Latte was very good too. Going back for some pastries! Seems like a good place to come and work on your computer too.

Found this little gem walking around Dunedin on this crisp day. Located maybe a block from main strip of Dunedin. It's a quiet place with a cozy sitting area. They have plenty of drinks and food to choose from. It is a nice quiet place to sit down and catch up with friends and family while you enjoy your food and drinks. They have a friendly staff that will answer any questions you have about the menu. Wifey and I will definitely come here again.

My favourite coffee shop in Dunedin!!! Pastries are always fresh, good selection of coffee drinks! Perfect spot to have breakfast or lunch. I have been their customer almost 2 years and have no complaints about service or food. There is few parking spots available upfront, but you can also park behind the building. Really great coffee and pastries! Staying at an AirBnB nearby and this was a great place for a simple and quick breakfast. The coffee is excellent and my chocolate croissant was fresh and warm. They also have amazing baklava and other great Mediterranean sweets/pastries. It's definitely worth venturing a little bit off Main Street to kick back with a European-style coffee at Veskolini. read more

I have been here a couple times now to get work done. It's a quiet, peaceful environment with some of the best lattes I've ever had. Their cinnamon brown sugar latte I had most recently was the perfect fall in Florida drink. (Yes food, drinks and colors, not weather, are what make Fall in Florida). Delicious, high quality coffee and good ambiance. Lots of comfortable seating and beautifully decorated. My husband and I love visiting coffee shops and this place is now definitely top of our list! I had the Creme Brûlée Latte and it was SO good! My husband had a cold brew which he said was really good as well. We haven't tried their desserts yet, but they look REALLY good! Cool little coffee shop. I stopped by to get an iced caramel macchiato. I decided to get it with oat milk and it was a little pricey, nonetheless, it was very tasty. They also have a cool little conference room inside. Not sure if you can rent it out for a meeting but I love that. read more

This is a very well appointed coffee cafe. Lovely atmosphere and furnishings with jazz background music. There is also a private room with a large dining table seating maybe 12-14. There are many food selections and beautiful desserts. And of course excellent coffees and teas. Such a pleasant experience. There are a few parking spaces and outdoor seating. read more

Such a sweet place - there's really nothing else like it in Dunedin! The lattes are excellent and so is the lemon cake. There is plenty of comfortable seating and it's always cool inside. They're open early for your morning coffee and into the evening so you can stop by with friends or family and have dessert. read more

Great little cafe! My dad and I had about an hour to spend in downtown Dunedin, and we found Veskolini. The iced coffee was strong and delicious, and the ricotta pastry I had was also good. We sat outside but there are plenty of indoor seating options. read more

We were introduced to this cafe on a food tour (also a great experience). The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating to everyone. The desserts are wonderfully light and not sweet--which we prefer. We had a slice of pistachio, lemon and chocolate between our cafe experience and our to go orders-all exceptional quality. Our drinks were well done and pretty when served. Very worth while to find and enjoy drinks and sweets at the Veskolini Cafe. Treat yourself! read more

This is what a coffee place should be. I had just had a bad experience for breakfast at a restaurant not too far away. I left that restaurant without even finishing my coffee there. So I decided to look for a nice coffee shop on Yelp and found Veskolini Cafe. It looked good and I wasn't disappointed. Beautifully set up and furnished. The coffee was fine, just on the edge of too strong for me, but nevertheless quite tasty and soothing. I'm a coffee purist and always order it black, forgoing the other types of coffee drinks, of which Veskolini has many. The furnishings were great, from comfortable couches and chairs to regular tables where you could work. The unobtrusive background music was just right. A mix of smooth jazz with a bit of a zen influence. I spent about an hour there on 2/8/23 and left in a calmer, satisfied mood. One negative: they don't do lower-priced refills on a cup of coffee so just two coffees will run you 7.50 plus tax, and a requested/optional tip. read more

I'm not the type to leave bad reviews but this one really bothered me. Really disappointed in this establishment. I would come here on a daily/weekly basis to study for nursing school. I give them 2 stars because they have a good variety of food and drinks which is what I look for in a coffee spot since I tend to stay for 5+ hours at a time. I've spent so much money here. On one occasion, I already had coffee for the morning from home and I wasn't ready to eat lunch yet since it was around 10am so I started doing my school work. By 11:30, one of the workers came up to me while I was in the middle of doing a proctored exam to ask when I would order. I get it. I haven't ordered anything yet but I was planning on ordering after I finished my exam. So after I finished my exam, I went to order a sandwich. It literally took over AN HOUR for my sandwich to come out. I had to go up to them and ask about it because they "forgot" even though I was only one of the 5 people in the store at the time. If they were busy, I would've understood the delay but the behavior from demanding me to order was just pure rude and then forgetting the food was just the cherry on top. Did I stop coming to this establishment? Indeed I did. read more

A gem in downtown Dunedin, FL. This European style cafe offers terrific atmosphere where you can relax from walk downtown Dunedin and enjoy a coffee of your choice. They have pastries and sandwiches. Their double cappuccinos are great! Enjoy the leather couches and the coffee. read more

They said "at this point nothing." I think dropped the drink in the trash in front of them. I returned outside, wrote my review, and told the people I was with. My 13 year old niece who I was visiting said "that's insane, I'm going to go get your refund." And sure enough they did! But my review had been written. According to her your staff was not at all accommodating about the refund, but they did provide it. Also, as for etiquette concerns for the party I was visiting family and friends that were already on your patio. I can't vouch for how long they were there or what they did or did not receive. So to recap- I came in with my sister, we ordered 2 drinks. Both were wrong. One was fixed and the other was disposed of. There was a refund after the fact but not to me.
