: came for coffee, left with backup soup.
This new spot is such a nice . Open and roomy, with quieter corners, seating at different heights, and - . They let you settle in and do your thing. One guy had an entire workstation plugged in like he'd relocated his office. Honestly, I get it.
There's live music, open mics, karaoke, workshops, even Pilates. Plenty of parking, too!
I appreciated the water station, sugars and condiments, and clean, stocked bathrooms with a baby-changing station. They even had two toilet-paper dispensers. Yes, I noticed. Those little details matter when someone has mobility issues.
? Fair prices and sizes, but my two picks weren't quite for me.
The looked beautiful, but I couldn't taste much apple. The cinnamon mostly sat on top, so my first sip came with a mouthful of powder. Maybe I needed to stir.
The wasn't my thing either. Others seemed happy with their drinks, so don't judge the whole menu by my choices! I'd try the Miso Caramel Latte next.
, ? .
I got the , $11 with a side, and asked to swap regular mayo for the jalapeño garlic mayo from their Torta de Chavo. They did it without an extra charge. Such a good swap!
For my side, I picked the cream of mushroom soup. ' . So good I ordered more to take home. I take my soup opportunities seriously.
The menu also has breakfast burritos, pancakes, salads, a garbanzo "tuna" sandwich, and pastries. Breakfast is listed from 8 AM to 4 PM, with lunch from 11 AM to 4 PM.
It got busy, but the two people up front kept things moving. I'll definitely return for the food and that relaxed vibe. A great addition to the neighborhood.
They weren't on Buy Local when I checked. Hopefully they'll join so we can get cashback, too!
