For dessert, my wife was served a complimentary slice of Red Velvet Cake with a lighted candle. It was a perfect way to end the evening. We started with gnocchi and mozzarella alla milanese. The gnocchi were nicely al dente and the paired sauces complemented each other well. My husband and I shared the daily special, halibut with a light creamy caper sauce. The fish leaned slightly overcooked, but the flavors were still very enjoyable, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly done. Our friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and after one bite I understood her happiness... rich, creamy, and comforting. Dessert became a celebration: a Spumoni Bomba (three gelatos wrapped in a chocolate shell) and a warm maple cake with ice cream that was honestly sinful in the best way. Our server, Tim, didn't make the strongest first impression but warmed up quickly becoming attentive and pleasant. Cocktails could use a little more polish, my Old Fashioned was a bit harsh, and I was surprised a Boulevardier wasn't available despite a Negroni being on the menu and bourbon well represented. Overall, a very good experience and a wonderful dinner with friends, not bad at all for just a brief stop in town.

And really the worst part is we were going to sit outside but the tables were disgusting and not clean from previous people eating out there. And based on the fact we bus our own tables I am guessing they do not get clean often. It is unfortunate. You got to the bathrooms and there is a window looking into the back. You can see them doidishes and the assembly line of pasta to go. They are so worried about all that but cannot keep the resturant clean so people can enjoy the food. They must really rely on take out and to go.

The pizza was a chef's kiss! It was LOADED with toppings and the crust was amazing. The ingredients tasted fresh and had just the right amount of crunch. It was so filling that there was plenty to take home for dinner. The restaurant is clean, bright, and has plenty of seating. An employee continually came around to clear tables of plates so that they are not taken back for use at the buffet and to prevent the table from being overwrought with empty plates.
