While online ordering is available, the true charm is found by visiting the Chevy Chase location in person--especially if you have the pleasure of working with Kelly. Kelly is exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her recommendations were thoughtful and perfectly suited to our tastes, making the experience feel both personal and elevated. I haven't yet visited the Hamburg location, but it's certainly on my list. During our visit, Kelly shared that Stuarto's hosts monthly cooking classes featuring their products. My husband and I decided to turn one into a date night, and it was a wonderful experience. The chef was engaging and articulate, the ingredients were prepped in advance, and the entire evening felt effortless yet refined--focused on flavor, technique, and enjoyment. A particularly lovely touch was that Kelly remembered us when we arrived for the class, reinforcing the level of care and attention that defines this business. From the quality of the oils and vinegars to the impeccable service and thoughtfully curated events, Stuarto's Olive Oil Company delivers excellence at every level. A truly polished experience--I highly recommend it.

A wonderful Olive Oil shop!…read more I visited the Chevy Chase location recently to pick up a housewarming gift. The woman working, I believe her name was Kelly, was so helpful in helping me select an olive oil and vinegar pair which was great because there is a huge variety to choose from! I was able to sample a few and you honestly cannot go wrong. They also offer a seasoning mix called "olive oils best friend" that pairs so well with most of the olive oils. I will be back!

WOW. We were absolutely blown away by the taste, quality, and service of this place. But one thing…read moreat a time. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was so thoughtful and sweet. She gave me the BEST recommendation of dinner and it was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my life. And I consider myself well travelled. She was prompt, polite, and didn't interrupt every thirty seconds and genuinely let us vibe. She was phenomenal. The food. I can't even. The fresh baked bread was fluffy and warm. The olive oil was well seasoned. The entrees were so tasty I thought I was in heaven. My husband got a weird named pasta but was very pleased, it was wrapped chicken on creamy rice. And I got the chicken Parmesan, but subbed the marinara for Alfredo, and got fettuccini noodles instead. Best decision EVER. We got dessert and that was a homemade cream puff and some homemade icecream. He got a glass of wine, and I got the peach Bellini. Everything was so good. And it doesn't feel like Olive Garden or a generic place. It's really quaint and well decorated giving real Italy vibes. Or so I would imagine.

Occasionally I've been annoyed with their waiting and seating policies over the years but the food is worth it.

I walked in and was amazed at the huge selection of loose tea available for purchase. White, black, green, caffeinated, unique flavors, you name it and there is something for you here! The owner was so kind as he explained to me a bit about what they carry and invited me to smell the wonderful aromas of the tea by opening the jars and discovering the scents. (This is very sanitary, as the jars are covered allowing you to smell without compromising/contaminating the product). In addition to an array of teas, there is also a merchandise and wide variety of spices. There is metered parking directly outside the storefront. Supporting local businesses brings me so much joy and I will be back.

Not everyone is into tea, but I love loose leaf and this place is like heaven to me. And hey, if you're not into it, they even offer tea and a snack for a couple bucks so you can give it a shot. The owner, pardon me for forgetting his name, was so knowledgeable and told me about all the different kinds of tea he had, and even showed me tea that strongly resembles the taste and smell of coffee (so I can get my dad to switch haha). They also have a rewards program that you don't have to sign up for, it's just a little index card that they punch and you can get free tea! Overall, such a lovely place to go. If you're thinking of a certain spice they are bound to have it, and their options of tea genuinely surprised me! i've been loving the darjeeling peach apricot. Worth every penny :)

That was a pleasant surprise. The ambiance is very casual and welcoming. We both wanted some coffee and have never been to the chocolate holler so we came here. I had the white blossom drink and my husband had the sleeping bear. Both of our drinks were pretty good. Wish more espresso was given without extra charge but that seems like most places these days. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the drinks were tasty. Would definitely come back here when craving unique chocolatey treats.

Oh hey there Chocolate Holler! I dig the new location :)…read more Located in Greyline Station, it was much easier to find parking here in the large lot behind the building versus the tiny lot at the previous location. It's been exactly one year since we last visited that old location, which has since closed. Though I have many years of memories tied to that one, I'm glad to see that business didn't close entirely. We were welcomed by a super-friendly and super-helpful barista who answered any of my "what is vegan?" questions. I ordered a Sipping Chocolate made with Davao, Philippines Dark Chocolate by Askinosie. Pinay-me was curious to taste chocolate by my people. It's delicious! https://bit.ly/3JHeBQL Hubby had the Brownie Batter Hot Chocolate. Also tasty! We actually came back five days later and had the Chocolate Chai. Yum! All of our drinks were made with oatmilk. Although this location is smaller than the OG location, it actually is very space-efficient with an abundant amount of tables and bar height seating. Also, a bit of outdoor seating and a few spots to sit around Greyline Station. They brought over remnants from the previous location such as board games and a collection of coffee sleeves with written messages on them.
