Verona did a horrible job at installing my LVP flooring. I had them do every inch of my 1700 sq ft home. They neglected to level areas of concern and the flooring came up within a year in my kitchen and loft. In addition, there's a "bubble"in my bedroom and the floor has chipped from our toes catching on the raised areas. I went into the store in Laguna Hills and told Mick my concerns. He said he'd send Bailey out to look at it but no one showed up. I went in again, left messages for both Bailey and Mick on their cells, and no one responded . The store closed up. They installed 5 years ago and were a referral from a friend. I'm extremely disappointed as it cost me $15,000 plus $5,0000 interest as I financed with my credit union. This is going to be a long, detailed review. So, before I begin, let me just say I chose to go with Bailey Taherian and Verona Kitchen, Bath and Flooring after having interviewed and receiving plans and bids from 11 different General Contractors as far North as Buena Park and far south as Escondido. Bailey got the business for one simple reason. Besides handling my project as if it was his own, he has a passion for what he does and takes responsibility for his work and that one key differentiator is COMMITMENT. When I discussed my project with all 12 companies, you can imagine I expected pricing all over the place. To my surprise the price was pretty consistent. And when I discussed the timetable and commitment in completing my job, and the people they use, things were all over the place. Bailey uses his own crew he's been using for over 15 years. Some people are on his payroll. Others are assigned the job and only work on your job. And when it came time to sign my contract with him, I demanded a timetable we could both agree to and I could hold him accountable to, and he didn't squirm like the others did. In the day of COVID, of course there has to be some exceptions. Materials will be back ordered. People could get sick. Things can happen. And over the past 3 months, they did. And it proved to me in hindsight that thank goodness I went with Bailey and Verona KBF. Like everyone else with a phone call. Then I was asked to come to the showroom which was annoying as heck. But my wife and I went there. Met with his brother Ben, and then with Bailey once he got an idea of what we're looking for. I realized why at that point this is going to require work and going into showrooms and meeting with the contractors and designers. Fortunately for us, Bailey is like a thoracic surgeon that also does plastic surgery. He's got construction knowledge meanwhile an eye for interior design and all things remodeling. I'd like to mention how gracious and polite Bailey is. Always referring to us as Mr. and Mrs. 6 days into breaking ground on the master bath remodel and we get a slab leak!! Construction stops and we decide to Pex Pipe the whole house and get that over with since we have copper pipe leaks to deal with here and there. $6k later and 3 days behind, Bailey kept work moving forward to catch up on lost days by working around the repipe guys by demoing the kitchen since the house was already blown up. Then as if that wasn't bad enough water was still coming up from the grout so it turned out we had mold and had to get a water damage company out and do mold remediation!! Bailey still somehow found other work he could do to have as little down time as possible, and took advantage of when we were in a hotel when the mold guys were clearing the house to do other stuff. Always doing things to ensure the timetable we discussed. Anyone else would have used this as their "oh well I guess we can't do anything" excuse. Not Bailey. When it came to all of our hardware he had all the connections to get me the top of the line bathroom fixtures like Grohe at discounted pricing with his distributor. He saw our old can lights and replaced them with the new LED lights at no charge. We decided that was so nice that we wanted the flushed LED lights in our master bedroom, walk-in closet, and two other bedrooms and he did them at his cost. Bailey's crew, Pedro, Jesus, Pablo, Jael, Jose, Leo to Antonio who did the kitchen backsplash, Jamshid who did our custom cabinets. They were all like family. Just amazing. Always adhering to COVID rules even when we weren't and we'd let our guard down. Always clean up before they left and we'd feel like they never were there for the day. They tried as best as they could to make our life as least intrusive as possible. Besides all of these attributes, they all have such great talent and so good at what they do. Never did I worry about anything getting messed up. And if anything ever ran into a snag, he'd tell me how much extra it would be and what my options were and what he'd do and what he suggests. Even the Pex Pipe guy asked me who's doing your project and I asked why and he said because they're doing it right. He asked if I was paying extra and I said no. When I told Bailey he said it's his reputation on the line and doesn't want someone to come years later for something that went wrong. The most important thing I found here is TRUST. There is no price you can place on having 100% trust in the person you're working with and that's what I got with Bailey and Verona KBF. I referred several people since, including a neighbor who used him for a kitchen remodel and very happy. I highly recommend Bailey and thank him for his excellent work with us. read more

The Verona team did a spectacular job remodeling our 25+ year old master bath: replacing tub with a no-climb walk-in shower, replacing vanity as well, and floor tile throughout. Designing the bath was stress-free thanks to Bailey's guidance. The demo and install were well done and the crews were neat and respectful of our family and property. The outcome is just beautiful, and we are so pleased. Highly recommend!! We found Verona through a neighbor referral, which is always good, but we still got a few other estimates. Prices were all in a similar range, but aside from the great referral, the design work was the deciding factor. Thank you, Bailey! Verona was the only bidder which insisted on a visit to their showroom, which turned out to be a blessing. We met with Bailey a couple of times there, and his design recommendations and rationale were spot on. Other firms pretty much quote labor and leave it to the client to choose tile, furniture, fixtures and finishes. That's a recipe for disappointment if you are not a design guru. Bailey knocked the design out of the park. On scheduling: Install was scheduled well in advance due to demand and Covid uncertainties. We are retired, so our flexibility certainly helped with scheduling. On workmanship: Crews were neat, professional, precise, friendly and respectful of our family and property. They all did a great job, from demo to the toilet roll holder. On cost: As noted, cost was competitive. More importantly, there was no nickel-diming over minor changes/adjustments. Note that add-on to the quote would be for plumbing fixtures, but this is worked out prior to signing. On communication: Bailey was in constant communication with us and the tradesmen. There were no hiccups, although crews might show +- 30 minutes...no big deal. On design: Enough said already...very happy. If you're planning a bath remodel, be sure to include Verona. Even if you don't select them (and why not?), the education is well worth your time. Great job! read more

I have hated my downstairs bathroom forever. Finally I had opportunity to get it remodeled. When I walked into Verona KBF, I was greeted very warmly by Mr. Bailey Taherian. I immediately felt an instant connection and liked the products he showed me and his willingness to work with my budget. He made me feel like with my budget I could get a very nice bathroom I would be pleased with. I did go to 3 other vendors and found that Verona was the best for me. Verona Kitchen and Bath Flooring 13552/13554 Newport Ave Tustin, Ca 92780 Salesman Ben Installers Brian (Ehsan) and 2 others January 2019. Excellent work. We installed approx 1200 sq ft vinyl wood throughout the house, bedrooms, closets, and bathrooms included. Ben, our salesman was of great assistance during our purchase and was always available to us before and during installation. Our install was a bit complicated. Tile and carpet removal, furniture moving but they did it all. We had to stop work to call in labor to level our floors but they were back the next day to finish the job. We also had floor rings at the toilet bottoms that had to be replaced. Brian and crew worked through as our Plummer replaced the rings. I had a million questions and Ehsan always stopped and gave me his complete attention. At the end of each day they cleaned up as best they could. They even worked on rainy days. You will have to do your own cleaning when they're done especially if you have tile removed. We highly recommend Verona Flooring for your purchase and install. read more

Ben and Bailey are nice people, but the sub contractors/workers are sloppy, messy, and have no attention to detail. To make sure, the jobs were done properly, I did much of the finishing/detail work myself. I will have to hire a professional drywall texture person to fix their water damage. read more

I would have loved to have written a totally positive review about this business and given it 5 stars, however, I feell compelled to provide the reasons behind this rating. I selected this business, although it was not the cheapest because of the interaction with bailey, the owner and for the most part , this was reinforced. They were professional, courteous and helpful in making selections for a new counter and tile backsplash. Work performed was excellent. So why not a five,. ONot because there was one hiccup where a tile installer did not show or call, which was corrected but what happened at the end of the project. My wife, who handled all the interaction asked Bailey for some accomodation because of time lost and inconvenience in the installer not showing. I cannot attest to the entire conversation, only that I walked in during it, only to hear Bailey speaking to my wife in a very loud voice. N matter what, a business owner should never raise his voice to a customer. I provided this feedback via a text and offered to talk about it but veever heard back So it was not the work itself, or the lack of getting any adjustment, rather it was the behavior I was not only surprised but disappointed read more
