I recommend using OC Elite Remodeling for any projects you have in your home. This is the second time we have used them within the last year ( we used them for a fireplace remodel) and called them regarding removing our wood staircase banisters to replace with wrought iron. Once again they have lived up to their reputation. Tony came out right away and gave us the estimate with Kash as our project manager. The saga continues. So now I know how OC Elite has such high ratings. They hide the poor ratings. I rated my experience with them as a less than favorable and could not recommend this company. They then deleted the review and are now threatening me with a lien for not paying for the work not completed after I fired them. OMG! This company is horrible. My wife and I contacted OC Elite Remodeling around the week of 9/29/2024 to remodel our kitchen, family room with the possibility of the backyard and house windows ( about 15 windows.) Tony came out right away within a day or two, took measurements and we discussed the project. Tony was very professional and kind. He suggested many things such as design and material and mentioned that the company had a deal for about $27,974.00 to remodel a kitchen that fits the parameters of OC Elite Remodeling parameters. My wife and I were very happy. We felt confident with the company. Tony also provided us with a few previous testimonials from previous customers to call for reference. 1st experience In the process, we asked Tony about the windows and if they could give us a good deal on the windows. We already had an estimate from Home Depot, but since they advertise to beat anyone's price, we thought of asking them. Sadly, the company would not lower and beat Home Depot's price as they themselves had advertised, it was only a $2,000.00 difference between Home Depot and them.(OC Elite Remodeling) Now it has come to our attention that this company is dishonest or they promise/advertise something that they don't intend on doing. My wife and I started to be attentive to what the company or its representatives communicated to us 2nd experience We had originally picked a tile that cost $5.93 / square foot. Then, during the shopping process, we liked another tile and we picked it that cost $3.99 a square foot. For some reason, I still don't understand the cost of picking the 2nd Tile @ $3.99 a square foot ended up costing more ($1675.80) . When we brought this to Tony's attention, he explained that the second tile does not include adhesive material, etc., but the first tile @ $5.93 a square foot does include all material. (our experience is when you see an advertisement for a tile , it usually does not include any adhesive material, grout, spacers, etc. and so how come the first tile $ 5.93 included all these things, does not make sense, but we did not want to argue). 3rd experience This is the one that really bothered me. Through the process we asked Tony if they would paint and install or paint doors, and Tony said yes. We were thinking of painting all our interior doors but Tony said it is better to paint because it's a similar cost. Laurence told Tony to get the doors from home depot, and he responded that " home depot doors are "dingy" and cheap doors. We install better doors. Well when the day came to install the doors I noticed that the doors had a label on them from Home Depot, I mentioned it to one of his workers and showed him the label and told him what Tony had said. I felt lied to and cheated. Please be made fully aware that this review is reviewing the company. Would we recommend OC Elite Remodeling? No Above all, Tony and Kash worked very hard specially with our changing of mind few times , Tony is a patient man , and Kash as well. What can I say but nothing but the best about this company! I was referred by my friend about getting a new front door from OC elite remodeling! They were out the next day. I described him what I wanted by the next day they send me samples. I chose the door and had it installed the next day. I was so fortunate that they found me a door that was in stock.. the install was seamless. They removed the old door installed the new door the same day like it was there from the home was new! They found me a unique, beautiful custom handmade iron door that I enjoy looking at every day and opening and also feel the security and extra light that gets through it and also opens up and it has insect net! Installers were professional and Kash overlooked the work and made sure everything was done,the right way! I think it's a great value for what kind of door I got and quality is high-end! What a great professional company. We really enjoyed working with Tony and Kash. They truly were a full service company from start to finish. They paid attention to details and were very willing to work with us on changes as needed along the way. It can be very scary working on these big projects and having a contractor that is sincere and cares about the relationship and the final product is paramount. You can see in the provided photos how they turned a worn down dated downstairs area to a complete modernized remodeled sanctuary. The entire family loves the new space with this open concept and incredible focal TV wall and fireplace. Our guests are amazed when they come over and see this new transition. The service at my home was to remove old granite counter tops and replace with quartz. I also had a gas fire place capped off and a new electric fire place installed.
