I have been with Sprint, now T-Mobile, for over 20 years. However, I got married two years ago and we finally decided to merge our accounts. My husband had also been with Sprint for a long time. We needed a phone upgrade as well. We were delighted with the service we received from Evan. He took care of everything seamlessly. Honestly, it was the easiest transaction at a cell provider that I've ever had. Yes, he suggested accessories but also explained our options and left the decision to us. I mean that's his job, to sell us products. But he was great at explaining things. He was professional, courteous, and accommodating to our requests. I notice that the bad reviews are from a long time ago. Perhaps this store has turned things around. All I know is that our interaction with Evan was very positive and we left as new happy Verizon customers. read more

Tried to go to this location twice - on two different occasions - and NEITHER time was seen. First time, hours didn't match what was posted online versus on their door, and today, the most recent time - no one bothered to communicate with clients waiting outside. The sign upon approaching the door states that you need to check in via website, wait outside/or in your vehicle, and you would then be contact when it was your turn to be seen. I did all that, and stood waiting for 15+ minutes. I saw people in the store both being helped by workers, and also some standing off to the side (as of waiting to be helped). I tried calling the store twice (to assure that the sign is in fact the protocol that is in place and that I'm not standing around outside like a Neanderthal when they're really letting people in to wait to be helped by the next customer service agent). No one bothered to answer. I understand being busy and not being able to answer, but they don't even have an automated message on their phone giving people an idea of why no one is bothering to pick up the phone. Called the Verizon on 43rd Ave and Bell (where I had originally gone upon joining Verizon - but it's alot farther away from my residence) & they are not only taking walk-ins, but answered the phone by the second ring. Save yourself the hassle and go to that Verizon, and avoid this one at all costs. read more

I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon at this location & I traded in my iPhone XS for a promotion they had going on. I was told I would be credited for the trade in after 3 months from the date I switched over. It's been over 7 months and I've had to go to the store about 5 times to ask what was going on and they just kept telling me they were going to resubmit it. I contacted Verizon support last month and they had told me that my old phone was still at the store and was never shipped out for it be accepted as a trade in. I hate to be a Karen but the workers at this store are useless. I wasted my time going back and forth and they had never even sent out the phone for me to be credited. If I knew it was going to be this much of a hassle I would have just stayed with T-mobile. read more

I needed a up grade on my husband and I cell phone and we went into verision on 58th Ave Nothern . We was in the store for over 5hrs. trying to find the best plan and we went with a plan that included a tablet that we didn't exactly need and we decided to return it and they told us we would HV to pay a restocking fee of $90 and didn't wouldn't take it back without us paying the fee and I never heard of this before in my life the service was poor and I would never go there again they get no f****** stars.... read more

This is not a "corporate" store which means that if you are looking for customer service keep on driving! If all you are looking to do is pay a bill or make a purchase then this location can help. If I could give negative stars... I would! I went into the store to change my plan. They said they had a plan (EDGE) where I would get 2 GB per month with a new phone and a discount and the total would be $85. That sounded great - That's where the good part ends... - The trading in of the phone and transferring to my new phone and the changing of the plan took nearly 2 hours... and the backup from my iCloud still wasn't done - the guy didn't know how to do it! - A month later I get my verizon bill and I was signed up for a completely different plan, they signed me up for insurance when I said no and there was a second month added on that I had to pay for! - NOT OK TO SIGN SOMEONE UP FOR WHAT THEY DIDN'T WANT! This has caused such a headache! I have contacted Verizon Wireless Customer Service Twice and apparently the guys at the store offered me a plan cost that was never available! And now Verizon Wireless Corporate will not honor what I was sold. I'm pretty sure Verizon just lost an 18 year customer because of sales reps who either do not know what they're doing or are dishonest. My advice - try another location. read more

My phone battery is low I'm pretty far from home so I decided I'd stop in to get a charger. The gentleman that helped me was quick to show me the right one and get me setup. Then he proceeded to tell me it was $27 for a 6ft standard phone charger. I expected to pay a little bit more going here but not $27 for something I can get for $10 on Amazon. read more

A young man named Anthony was sent to help me and he really provided quality customer service. I also had some quest about the area since I'm new to Arizona, and he provided some great recommendations! This is by far the worst Verizon store I have ever been to. It is a third party store by the way. The manager said he worked there for 5 years and knows everything. My phone got into an odd setting that someone in the store was able to fix. When it happened again the manager tried to tell me my phone was broken. He refused to listen to me and wanted me to get a new phone. I didn't do that but instead went to the apple store and they fixed it in 2 min. They need to get their $h1t together. read more

I went into the store to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon. We had 2 phones to switch over, an Apple Watch and another phone that was broken and needed to be replaced. We were helped by Jay(Juan), who advised me it would be about 400 dollars to switch the lines, pay the tax on the new phone, setup fee and SIM card. Jay stated he would throw in a charger since the new phone didn't come with one. Jay kept stacking accessories for the new phone on the counter and I asked him if he was throwing those in too. Jay said he was giving us the accessories. 372.99 later we were done. Jay stated he would email the receipt. I texted Jay a couple hours later because we didn't get the receipt. He said he was busy and would send it. He didn't. I asked him twice more with no response. I went in the next day and he wasn't there. I had another employee print my receipt and saw Jay had charged me for over 200 dollars in accessories. I should have paid 158 for what I got. I advised the assistant manager and was told I could return everything except the 65 dollar screen protector I never asked for. I still haven't gotten a call from the manager or anything. I'm sure Jay is still there lying to people and scamming them out of hard earned money. I will never go to anything except a real Verizon store again. read more

I went in to use my upgrade for my iPhone4s to just get the same exact phone because I am perfectly content with this specific model, making the final purchase of my new phone $0.00. "Awesome!" I thought. When I looked at my bill for February (just to mentally prepare and affirm the quota like very other month), it said I owed $101.70, when I usually owe $46.03. Because I purchased $10 insurance, I expected my bill to be approximately $56.03. My thoughts, "Holy crap! What?" I spent 40 minutes on the phone with Verizon asking why my bill was so high and they explained to me that when you upgrade a phone, you are charged a $30.00 service fee. I accepted this, but the fact that the sales associate, Levy, did not express this to me, it worried me and wasted time on the phone I honestly did not have. A representative of Verizon connected herself and I, and Levy from this location, on a 3-way call so that we can ask exactly why my bill is so high, and he was very rude to me. I do not recommend going to this location if you are a shopper looking for excellent customer service. Although I confirmed with Levy that there will not be any additional charges, it was clearly not true. Advice for future phone shoppers: Ask about service fees when upgrading phones! ...and of course, additional charges before spending any money. I hope this review helps! read more

Daniel went through the plan options and was also able to change my current plan to a less Expensive plan with a better rate. Verizon at Northern could not activate my phone.. Go to the corporate Verizon at Metrocenter to get it done they said. I find this out after waiting 20 minutes for service. Only two other customers were being waited on by two sales associates. When more customers arrive this is when the manager, I think he was, comes out of the back of the store. He had disappeared out back when I arrived. Couldnt he have offered me some help earlier? I only showed up at this store thinking I could get some actual service. Staff is poorly trained in how to answer questions directly. They seem to have a script format and are unable to defer from that format. I clearly asked the question three times. The second two times I asked, I said, "that's not what I'm asking." The staff was unable to listen to the question and continues to make his sales pitch. Had the staff simply stopped and listened to my question and then answered it, everything would have been fine. I didn't need to be "sold to" or convinced. I had no problem with the price. I should have paid closer attention to the contract, but Tammy should not have lied to me to get the sale!!! This Verizon Wireless location specifically has no customer service skills at all whatsoever!! They'll just try to get you in a contract and while doing it lie about everything in the process. They gave me so called "free Verizon hum product" as a gift and promised no additional charges or extra lines lol ha that was a lie....I've been trying for the past 4 months to fix this issue but now they say they can't....rude!! The guy who helped us was texting and literally playing games on his phone while we are sitting down talking about my contract. 2 customers came in while we were there, not even a hello from the staff and the left after 10 mins (who wouldn't?). Was told my new phone would be free, I asked to confirm and "yes it will be free". Until we started the paperwork and it was suddenly a one time $150 charge. I walked out. Called verizon and was told that this location is third party and can charge if they want. I ended up getting the phone overnighted and it was indeed free. Worst Verizon location. Went there before close. One employee ran to lock the door so I couldn't get in and then he ran to the back. Waited until another employee came out and banged on the door. Explained to him that I just needed a SIM card for a new phone. Got home and it didn't work. Called Verizon. They said it was the wrong SIM card for my phone. I just signed up for my first cell phone plan and bought my first two phones in the past month and I have to say I was extremely angry after I was lied to by an employee as to the price of the phones. I came in with the intent to sign up for two new plans and get a free phone that comes with a new contract. When I told the employee and manager I couldn't put money down on a phone (yes he discussed the edge plan too) I left the store and received a voice mail from Keith ( said employee) saying that I should come back because now you found a way to put zero down ! I was so excited but instead actually keeping their word I was charged 238 dollars for two iPhone 5s(s) . I thought maybe that money would be credited back on my first bill but sadly no. I called and was told to talk to the manager that this isn't your guys issue and when I talked to him he one didn't want to give me the name of his district manager and two only wanted to credit me back 79bucks ...failing to Give me even a reason for the rebate but still said I was wrong in wanting money back for the phones. Anothe employee told me I couldn't return the phones without a hundred dollar restocking fee per phone. In the contract it clearly stated ONLY IF MINOR DAMAGES. After the store wouldnt give me what I wanted (store AZ-10a Glendale ) I called customer service to try and get this resolved . I was told by a manager that I should of been smarter and stayed in the store if I didn't fully understand my contract. I WAS lied too!!!!!! After a long argument he said he could give me 10 percent off my bill which is a joke after he called me stupid and your employees lied to make a quick buck. I have so many people say good things about your service that's why I chose Verizon as my first choice but after this issue that could be solved wasn't I am never again renewing my contract with Verizon. I am a current customer. I advise anyone to avoid this Verizon location since they are extremely unprofessional and use predatory techniques to run their daily business. First of all, I am the account manager and I have six lines in my current plan. I am the only one that can make changes to the account. My mother went to the store to replace her phone (she has a full protection plan on her phone). When she arrived at the store, the female associate called me to ask for my account passcode and consent to replace her phone to replace her phone. This is the only thing they asked me about during the call and it is the only thing I agreed on. However, they somehow managed to use their predatory skills and add a line and a tablet to my account (WITHOUT MY CONSENT). My mother was told that this tablet was free of charge and part of the account's free services and since she is an older woman and not familiar with technology she was deceived. When she left the store, she called me to let me know what had happened. Then is when I found out, that my account was charged $175 for the tablet, $40 for activation and $6 which included taxes and other fees. NONE of these fees were explained to my mother when she received the tablet. Since my mother lives in a different city, I asked her to go back and return the tablet. Upon arriving at the store the same female associate asked what was my mother doing? My mother told her she was there to return the tablet and without hesitation, the female associate used my passcode without contacting me again (This location keeps personal account information such as my account passcode). Upon doing that, she was additionally charged $70 for a restocking fee (the tablet was not used and later on, I found out that the standard fee for restocking at any Verizon store is $35. This is a standard fee according to one of the many Verizon's associates I spoke with. They also told me, that each location can change above that standard $35 fee but I find that it was inappropriate of them to charge $70 since the item was not even used...) In addition to all this chaos, she was sent out of the store with a temporary use Samsung NOTE 5 without the stylus when in fact she was there to replace a Samsung 7 Edge. To this day this has not been resolved since there is an open investigation against this location. I contacted Verizon's customer service center to get information about the charges. After talking to FOUR different associates, they finally refunded me all the charges and confirmed verbally, that everything that had happened at that store was unprofessional and unacceptable. To this day, I am still waiting to finalize the formal complaint with Verizon. WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. read more

I have had Verizon for 12 years now and loved everything about there professionalism and customer service! I was willing to always pay the higher bill through Verizon than other networks just because of this.... I haven't had an issue is 8-10 years on any service or devise ive owned. last week I had a big problem with my SE not getting service. I spoke with customer service 3 times . once everyday. each day the service rep said they recorded the info to my account ..... uuuummmmmm ok.... can I get this fixed???? sick of the bs just bought a new phone online and payed for next day shipping. it never came! they assured it was on its way, but my Verizon acc showed it still pending . after day 3 of no phone. I call phone service said go to the branch your current phone still has a warranty if you want to try to fix it. ok so where the heck is the phone I ordered? bs runaround . so I canceled the new phone order that never came. the branch sales man didn't care to hear to what I just described. next words from the sales associate was " ya phones old, do you want to buy a I-Pad?" ... are you kidding me ? he wouldn't check my phone to see if there was and issue to have fixed by warranty. ... I was getting so mad and hadn't had service for 3-4 days now . but as soon as I get to a branch all of a sudden I had service bars 4Glte. while driving there it was 3G and 1X. I asked if he could send in this phone to be fixed and still buy a new phone so I could use the broken for work line. ... sales associate played it off , ya its to old . need to upgrade . desperate to get a working phone as I run a small business and no one could get a hold of me . I bought a new phone . which is fine I needed to get one with more gigs anyways . but I shouldn't have to get one in these circumstance of being tricked.. once I got home and downloaded the new phone ... I looked online curious about the SE, being that its the 7 . and Verizon is still selling this phone new... felt like a fool . I called Verizon asking if I can still get this phone fixed under warranty so I can use it for a 2nd line for work. so I can get rid of the app I have that transfer me calls . I was told now that I got a new devise there is no longer a warranty on you old phone. ... wow! got played for the first time in a long time!!!! long long long time! the fact that I have had them for 12 years and never filed any disputes of any bs problems for them. I am so pissed. guess this is how they run business now . if I wanted shady sales reps I would have gone to Metro PCS! this is now Verizon new standard . NO CLASS at priding themselves as #1 . I did this to myself on being impatient and taking the runaround for an answer . I guess I have gotten soft in trusting a so called " top tier company " that you have done business with your whole adult life . QUICK NOTE: every call I placed the rep said they were making notes . I was never rude nor did I yell at any phone reps or store reps through this . I stayed professional though this , being a business man I get there are snags sometimes . that being said , at the end of this speaking with rep on the phone and in the store they told me there is no documentation of me reporting on troubles on my devise. ... my advise , stay alert , sometimes you need a reminder. I will now be leaving Verizon . think about it .. 12 years at an average of $110 month . almost $16k . i have paid them. not to mention all bs fees and new phones . i guess $859 i-phone 8 was worth it. not to mention they should have renewed my contract and i would have got the phone for half . i purposely didn't bring that up to see how this played out . .... I called the call center was informed to go to change the cell phone I am having issues with at the store still with in 14 day period. Now I am at the store and they are telling me to call the call center. Going back and forth with no resolution. Worst customer service ever. From both parts call center incorrect information and the sales rep Avery cannot even help. Does not even Acknowledge my problem and say call the call center! I have been waiting trying to get the call center on the line for over 30 minutes on MY LINE to speak with the reps (even though I'm at the store) Asked Avery if they had an internal line to resolve the issue faster and he said NO! Didn't even try to assist me he started using his cell phone!!!!!! Just transferred to verizon regretting it to the fullest!
