Earlier in the day, I called Verizon customer service about a package I received that I never ordered. They explained that there had been a system issue about a month ago that caused some customers to receive unexpected packages, and they advised me to take it to any Verizon store -- specifically recommending this location -- and that it wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived, however, the experience was anything but helpful. This isn't the first time I've had an issue at this store; every time I've been here, the staff have come across as rude and unapproachable. This time, I was assisted by an employee who had an attitude from the moment I started explaining the situation. I barely got through a sentence before being met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. This store needs better management and serious improvement in customer service. Customers shouldn't feel uncomfortable or disrespected when simply following directions from Verizon's own support team. read more

I must compliment the young man, Danny, who helped me today buy a new phone. His patience ( as opposed to the dismissive bald, old guy) made my chore bearable. I tried another Verizon store near Giant Grocery the day before, but again the bearded guy there lost his patience as if I were interrupting him although no other customer was present. I would highly recommend this location for its amazing customer service and integrity. I watched multiple interactions where the employees here put the customer first. There were plenty of opportunities for them to upsell, but instead would offer the most cost effective solution based on the current deals out. Customer Service at Reston Wireless has perfected incompetence. It took 1.3 hours for the clerk to study the data transfer. He could not do it and told me it could take several more hours to complete. Also, he told me he could not transfer my email accounts and that I would need to do them one at a time. I took the phone to Geek Squad, Best Buy, Sterling. Geek Squad activated it and transferred data in under 20 minutes. All my email and all other data was transferred. Clerks at the VZ Reston store must be on sales commission because they do not want to provide customer service. Worst customer service I've ever had. read more

The Fios internet sucks. Always lagging or not loading, even for simple things such as watching a movie. The technician installed it incorrectly so Verizon had to send someone out to fix it, where it improved somewhat for a few weeks and then went back to how it originally was. 10/10 would not recommend. The salesman also lied about the discount I was supposed to be eligible for and corporate won't honor what the salesman said. read more

A representative from Verizon at 6:30pm very aggressively knocked on my door. He left and then he came back and did it again. I told him through the door that I live in a non-soliciting neighborhood. He replied that he was not soliciting because he was from Verizon. I told him to get off my property. He replied that I did not own my property since it was a townhouse. WTF??!! For the record I do own my townhouse. He was very aggressive and sassy. I will never buy from Verizon again. read more

FIRST let me be CLEAR. I am NOT writing a review about the store. I am writing about the customer service. I am very upset with Verizon at this moment, which  is why I am reaching out to the corporate office.  I have been a Verizon customer for over 20 years & I have Fios since 2007. I went on a birthday trip this past January 2024 on a cruise to the Caribbean. I called Verizon before I left for my trip asking what I should do so that I would not have a huge phone bill when I got home. I was told that I could pay an additional $ 10.00 a day to have internet, data, & make phone calls. When I got home there was a phone bill of 707.83, I called & was very upset about this bill. I was told several times that there was nothing they could do. I spoke to a supervisor and was told that he was going to take care of this bill. Time went by & I never heard back about. I had to keep calling over & over again asking about this bill. I kept getting the run around over this bill. I am out of contract & I will take my business elsewhere. I dont need to stay with verizon & $ 700.00 is almost half of my paycheck & I can't afford a 700.00 phone bill however Verizon can afford to absorb this cost. This is on verizon and not me because I did my do diligence and called ahead to ask these questions. I was never told I should not make calls in the middle of the Ocean because of the international charges. I am VERY FRUSTRATED with your company & I am writing to voice my disappointment and I WILL BE TAKING ALL OF MY BUSINESS TO ANOTHER CARRIER. read more

I just went here because I drop my phone in the toilet and I need a phone! It was painful to find out they were already closed by my arrival at 8:20pm. The horrible thing of it all is that it's marked on the door that they close at 9pm! Clearly there is a management problem and a staffing problem do not waste your time here with these individuals! read more

Despite the challenges of transferring our data, contacts and photos from Apple iPhones, to newly purchased Androids and tablets, Kenny Barnes never gave up and persevered until all files were visible in all new devices. While he worked to set us up, he also coached us through the screens, apps, personalized features and never once laughed at our total lack of technology skills. Two seniors now have 4 new communication devices and we no longer need the orange juice cans with string to talk to each other. Thank you Kenny! read more

My Samsung Note 2 died yesterday morning. I've had my phone for a little over a year and a half. I went to this Verizon Wireless store yesterday to purchase a battery. Before I go on, I feel compelled to mention this as well - the store smelled terrible! It seemed like they were cooking something in the back room and the smell permeated the entire store. Anyway, the person that came over to help me (a short guy with very frizzy curly hair/pony tail) told me that they did not sell batteries but still attempted to charge my phone. I knew that it wouldn't work because I had already tried it at home. When it didn't work, he told me that my phone was fried and asked if I had had it near a microwave oven (?). He then asked me if I had insurance on my phone. I told him that I did not. He continued to tell me over and over...."well if you had, you could pay a deductible and that I could get a new phone". I told him that I was not interested in belaboring the fact that I did not have insurance on my phone or discussing what could have happened had had insurance...etc. After that he was eager to get into my account ( more than likely to see when I was eligible for an upgrade). I did not allow him to access my account. What is so concerning here is that I told him how old my phone was and he never once mentioned that it could be the battery. He was only interested in accessing my account and selling me a knew phone. I left there, went to a an AT&T wireless store to see if they sold phone batteries. They also did not sell batteries, but the AT&T guy told me that I could go to a battery store to get one and where it was located. (Thank you AT&T!). I did just that and it was confirmed that the problem was my phone battery. The battery people were very helpful and also told me that these types of batteries only last for approximately a year or a little over (just like mine). I'm sure that the Verizon guy knew that it was more than likely the battery but instead insulted my intelligence by trying to convince me that my phone was "fried" (what ever that means). On my way home from the battery store along with my working phone, I stopped back in the Verizon store to let him know that all my phone needed was a new battery and that it was not "fried" like he told me. He pretended to be surprised and said, "oh, it was the battery"? I told him that I was going to write a letter to Verizon about my experience there. He was then very dismissive and told me to have a good day. . read more

Nothing but problems. Verizon Corporate, take note that this store may very well be losing you customers. It was almost time to upgrade our phones, and we came in, were informed that we would have to wait a few days to upgrade. Came back 2 days later, and were informed that they didn't have any more of the phones we wanted, and would have to order them. So we come back a few more days later, when the phones were in. Then they screwed up our rebate paperwork, so we're now still waiting for our rebates, totaling $300. The phones were ordered on August 18th, it is now October 18th, and still no rebates. And we just found out that they also screwed up our insurance sign-up and signed us up for a $14 a month total plan that is basically just tech support and no actual phone replacement or protection. I'm going to call corporate customer care tomorrow, and if they can't fix the issues from this store, my wife and I will be terminating a cumulative 20 years of Verizon loyalty and switch to another provider who can actually do what they promise and are supposed to do... We saw another family walk out because they literally only had iPhones left. read more

NOT A VERIZON STORE!!! This is an authorized dealer. I am someone that does the research and knows what I want and how much it should cost before I walk in the door. The employee I talked to was all wrong. I knew that my bill should be going down but he told me it was going up. He told me I went over my data by $75 in the last 3 months, not true at all. I looked at my bill and calculated how many times I had gone over in the 2 years I had the phone and knew exactly how much data I used every month and how much extra I had paid. He was just trying to convince me to up my data plan. I walked out of the store because I knew he didn't know what he was talking about. I drove down the road to an actual Verizon store and I walked out a few hours later with 2 new phones with all the bells and whistles. When I mentioned my bad experience here they told me that they get a lot of complaints about this store but since it is an authorized dealer and not a Verizon store they couldn't really do much.
