I went to the Verizon store located at 1200 Bald Hill Rd to add an International calling plan to my service plan. After waiting for 20 minutes, the manager began to help someone who had walked in after I had arrived. I politely interrupted and informed Mike that I had arrived long before this customer he was helping. However, Mike did not seem to care and told me to " wait, and he would be with me shortly". After another 10 minutes passed, Mike H. finally turned his attention to me. I explained I was there to add an international calling plan as I was traveling out of the country for approximately 18 days. After allowing him access to my account, he refused to help me as the account is listed under my daughter and son in law at the same address as mine. HE REFUSED TO CONTACT MY DAUGHTER TO ASK PERMISSION TO ALLOW THIS TRANSACTION. I explained to Mike that on several occasions when I have visited this store for this same request, the service person contacted my daughter for authorization and completed my request. Mike told me that my daughter had to call Customer Service to complete my request! THAT's ODD- I THOUGHT MIKE REPRESENTED CUSTOMER SERVICE! I believe Mike was very rude (borderline belligerent ) to me and would never go back to this store again. I returned home and completed the transaction on the phone with a very pleasant agent. I wish I could give it more but we spent like 5 hours trying to get service and visited the store twice.the last time my daughter was told she was going to get a gift card and well I was just happy we got out of there with cell service. I tried to come here to cancel my service. They refused unless I brought in all equipment first. They wouldn't even take a look at my account or help in any way. I only have a modem and offered to pay the fee. They again refused. They said even if it was stolen or lost they can not cancel service without equipment. I asked the representative what his name was. He at first refused to give it to me. Then he wrote it down in cursive... Maybe to stump me? I don't know but that was unnecessary. His name is Justin Keene. He was not friendly, knowledgeable, or helpful in any way. You can tell he hates his job almost as much as Verizon hates their customers. read more

If I could give a zero star, I would. Manager Eduardo was rude, arrogant, and self righteous. I simply went there to exchange or return an charging cord. I had the receipt and original box, but still he wouldn't do it, basically calling me a liar. He said the charging chord I had was not one bought there, when clearly it was. I found out later this was a franchise store, which explains the desire not to take a return, but certainly not his attitude! read more

I have bought three LG vk 815 tablets two were defective under warranty and one was dropped. I signed two contracts eventhough I should not have. Now they won't credit me for the two defective tablets and no longer carry the LG models. I went in last week to get a new phone. Was immediately greeted by, Kyle. He got me set up with an iPhone 7. And when some things didn't get transferred over from my old phone, he happily found out why and fixed it. He talked me through everything he was doing and why (which was great because I typically just smile and nod and I really have no idea what is going on. Bonus points, Kyle!) He even got me set up with the correct insurance plan for my phone, and cancelled the third party one I had. Kyle has now added to my list of great experiences at this store. read more

Went in to transfer my account from post paid to a prepaid account. Jenna helped me to do that and to set up my auto pay. She also had the answers to my questions regarding the closure of the old account. She was very knowledgable about the whole process. I had gone to another Verizon store previously and they gave me a customer service phone number to call to ask my questions, because they weren't sure of the answers. After navigating the phone tree and dealing with that frustration, I hung up and visited this store. Very glad I did. A big shout-out to Jenna, the assistant manager at Verizon GoWireless at 1200 Bald Hill Road! After someone at another store (Wireless Zone on Waterman) completely messed up my phone, Jenna rescued my data. She clearly knew what she was doing (unlike the guy on Waterman, who wanted me to come back another day when he could call Samsung's help line!) She talked me through the situation, explained things clearly, and repeatedly asked if there was any other way she could help. And it's not as if I were going to buy anything--she was just helping me. (Of course, when it comes time to buy my next phone, I'll go to the Bald Hill GoWireless for sure!) read more

He helped reduce the price of my overall bill by ten dollars a month and took the time to figure out how to use coupons to increase my discount. I have used go wireless for about 6 years now. They will bend over backwards help out their customer. There literally is no end to what they will do to satisfy their customers. I have had a few issues with customer service over the years and Tom ( the store manager) has spent countless hours on the phone working out whatever he can to make things work. His team is one of the best I have ever encountered. I have recently worked with Zack who was much the same . He went out of his way to make calls and work whatever he could to get me what I needed. I only deal with the guys at go wireless. I recommend them to anyone I speak with who is looking for a place to go to handle their wireless issues. Theses guys understand what it means to provide customer service ...I walk in and they not only know my name but my history with verizon. They even know my pass code on my account when I seem to forget it ( which is all the time lol) Bottom line. If you want old fashion customer service (the kind that seems to have been forgotten by other companies) then "go wireless" on bald hill road is the place to go...just tell them Chad sent you. We recently purchased a gizmo gadget for our son. When we went in we were given a price that was higher than the online price. They told us that we could get a pre paid Visa card for the price difference. So we agreed. Then that pre paid card turned out to be a a gift card to 1 of a few stores. Some of which are out of business like Toys R Us. We were annoyed but ok we wanted the Gizmo Gadget. We tried to redeem the voucher we were provided to find out it was an expired offer over a yr old. We went into the store to get this fixed and told by Mile the manager he would give it s a $25 credit on our bill. This would be completed immediately. After 2 weeks there was still no credit so we decided to go back to the store and get an answer. We were assisted by Joe who told us that the manager was only one who could help this and he was out on paternity leave and due back in 2 weeks. When asked who was managing the store in his absence Joe said no one. After stating we wanted a resolution he back peddled and said he would text the manager and see how to resolve. After a few texts Joe told us he went all the way to the BIG BOSS to get resolved and guess what still no resolution. read more

Where to start, Tom the store manager is extremely helpful and very friendly, Mike the assistant manager is just as helpful and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his customers happy. The two sales associates Nick and Shannon are absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, helpful, and can answer all my questions and fix all my problems. Their prices are great and they are always willing to help at every turn and will never steer a customer wrong. Great experience at GoWireless. Customer for several generations of phones. Efficient and enthusiastic staff of young men and women were very helpful and patient while troubleshooting my and my daughter's phones. While my daughter, the resident techie, was out of the country , they patiently guided me through activation of the two replacement phones sent from the insurer, plus the 2nd replacement for mine when the first turned out to be defective. Not one of them sighed or rolled their eyes through several visits filled with forgotten passwords and stupid questions! I observed the same courtesies with other customers as well. This is the only VERIZON store i go to because i get the best service ! As soon as you walk in the door no matter how busy they are there's always a few employees that look at you and say" HI, how are you today or how can I be of help to you today". The manager there right now is excellent !.I remember when he was just an employee. He still remembers me says "hello" and asks me how my girl friend is because I brought her in to be a customer and now she goes in with her boyfriend. I definitely need to say that all of the employees have the best knowledge on all of the phones. Any questions I have for whom ever I get they know the answers right away. I was just in there on March 13 and had Kyle. He was fantastic with me, I just keep going back because there friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable and hardly no wait time all.
