After being on hold for over an hour, I was connected with a representative. When I attempted to cancel my Optimum service with this representative, the experience was unnecessarily stressful due to this overly aggressive individual. While I understand that retaining customers is part of their job, the level of pressure I faced was unacceptable. The representative repeatedly ignored my clear request to cancel and instead tried to convince me to stay with multiple sales pitches. Despite me stating multiple times that I had made up my mind, they continued to push, making the interaction feel more like a hard sell than a customer service call. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a drawn-out conversation filled with frustration. At one point, I had to ask repeatedly just to move forward with my cancellation. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also makes me less likely to consider Optimum in the future should I need service again. Companies should respect customers' decisions and streamline their cancellation process instead of resorting to aggressive tactics. I hope Optimum addresses this issue to improve the experience for other customers.

Then you call there costumer service department only to find out, there is a limit on data 20 gigs , that it's not unlimited. They helped me put through a warranty exchange for a replacement device and my cost was only $5.43 and they were also very friendly. My device was ready on Tuesday so I went back in for it.
