I just wanted to give this Verizon a huge shoutout for stellar customer service There are some things I'm great at but the part of adulting where you actually look at your bills is not one of them. Long story short I had been paying for landline service since 2020 and have literally never even owned a landline phone. Even $20/month for 5 years adds up. Needless to say I decided to cancel my phone service lol and decided to also cancel cable since we really never watch TV anymore. Verizon was so helpful and took our boxes back with zero problem. I wish I could give 0 stars! they are not an authorized dealer and I knew this going in thinking would be no issue but got a phone speaker didn't work under 3 weeks went to return they refused as they said go to Apple Store as it's under warranty! I spoke with Verizon and Apple and they both said you must go to exchange phone with same store but once again this location refused! BEWARE or Be Aware- this is NOT a VERIZON store. They are an "authorized VERIZON dealer", which means you don't get the same warrantee as if you went to a Verizon store. And, I am pretty sure NO VERIZON store, online or other "authorized VERIZON store" will honor your needs or warranty. I made this mistake once, and won't ever do it again. I called for help with my cable box and wireless products and was instructed that they can't help me and to try the store in "Glen Cove". I instructed them that setting up a cable box shouldn't be rocket science and should just self explanatory and work. The lady said to me "It's not my problem you have to call glen cove". I called at 1:00pm on 9/9/2023 and this is the treatment I received. For a corporate company you should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm here paying $250+ a month for cable and just wanted a little help and I was told that it's "not my problem and to go skidaddle to the store in Glen cove". Perhaps this woman needs to be repreimanded for her absurd behavior over the phone. Not to mention that she told me to hold and forgot to press the "hold" button and I heard her saying to another employee "What is this person stupid or something?". I am BEYOND DISGUSTED AND WOULD LIKE A CALL BACK PLEASE AT 516-813-6763. I want my cable box to work and for this to not be "my problem". What happens to the customer always being right and being treated with respect and not being called stupid? 1:14pm: Well despite the woman on the phone being rude and arrogant she was also incorrect too. Misinformed me about if my son's phone would work with the Apple Watch we got him for Christmas. Then when I went back to store and tried to ask again I was told they never said that to me. Also they tried to sell me on the BOGO for the IPhone 8 but failed to tell me I needed to have the unlimited data plan to be eligible for this deal. Also told me I needed to have insurance on a new phone but when I called Verizon directly I was told insurance is an option not mandatory. Seems to me they need to be more informed on the products they are trying to sell read more

My husband and I went a few weeks ago to this local store as we were having issues with Sprint. The staff was great to work with and were able to give us a good deal on plan, accessories and a new phone. The staff was easy to work with on options available and was able to package us matching the price we were paying at Sprint. Two weeks later we went back and upgraded including our kids. If you live in the area I recommend paying them a visit. Worth the time vs being on the phone with Verizon for hours. read more

The customer service at this location is fantastic. Brayden was extremely helpful in assisting me with an exchange. The phone I wanted needed to be ordered and it came exceptionally fast. Brayden even kept me posted on the progress. Picking up the phone and activation was speedy. The store was extremely clean and all the reps were friendly. I wasn't attacked by sales people, I was greeted by people who truly wanted to help. Francis, the Store Manager was very outgoing and genuinely happy to have pleased customers. UPDATE ON THE VERIZON STORE AT 1233 WANTAGH AVE - the salesperson was so bad with myself and other customers he was fired, soon after I bought our phones - unfortunately for me as I wish i would have gone in after that so I didn't have to deal with this HOWEVER-. SO HAPPY to say this business did the right thing and would like to give Asst mgr Gilbert and Manager Francis Tyson acknowledgment for listening to customers, resolving and just being nice - The validation and sense of release of anger is gone just having dealt with those 2 gentlemen - also was great that Gilbert was there the day of my trouble with Miles William and basically corroborated what I said - Now I would definitely recommend doing business with one of them, at that store, SO GO AHEAD AND GO IN THERE AND SPEAK WITH Gilbert or Francis - PS star rating was because I had to work so hard, got ripped off and had go through this to begin with - no reflection on Gilbert or Francis read more
