Avoid this store at all costs. Last year I returned two new phones to this store. The phones were stolen by one of their employees. Although it was acknowledged by ATT that the phones were being used elsewhere, and nothing to do with me, the store refused to remove the charges for these phones from my account. I requested a call from the owner of the store to come to a resolution but was completed ignored. I was a customer of this store for over 15 years. The business was sold two years ago and ever since then the service has declined. You've been warned. read more

ZERO stars!!! RUN away from here. Went in to sign up for FirstNet in early June, they NEVER turned the service on, shadily signed me up for products I repeatedly said no to, and I'm still struggling with getting it rectified as I'm still getting BILLS!!! It's late August and I've wasted countless hours of my life either in the store or on the phone with AT&T dealing with this. Oh, and I also found out during this process that I haven't been getting my first responder discount for over a year which is a loss of over $500. Hard thinking and wouldn't ya know it, I brought my ID in to this store to have it verified. Beyond useless. I can't wait to pay off these phones (such a trap) to get away from AT&T all together. I've written this review while holding to speak to a FirstNet rep to cancel my service, yet again, even though I have an email from July 1 stating such. This man will SCAM YOU into thinking he will give you the deal of a lifetime only to cause you money and time for what turned out to be a $20 savings! He destroyed my credit and charged us for a phone that was to be free and also the FREE phone wasn't in stock so he gave us a loner phone which we found out that we ended up having to pay for! I can't get into the rest of what he has done to us because we plan on doing something about this. I wish that I could give it no stars. They had no iPhone 12 Pro in stock. I've never upgraded a phone in an At&t store and told to come back. Ordered my replacement phone on Friday, Aug 27th told it would come in on Monday, Aug 30th. Received a text would come in Mon, Aug 30-Wed, Sept 1st. On Wed I called the store to see if the phone came in and it didn't. Later in the evening, I received a text message would be over a month. I ordered the phone on Aug 27 was told it wouldn't come in until Sept 29- Oct 1! Cancelled order and reordered through Best Buy now I'm getting my new phone on Sept 3rd. Avoid this store like the plague unless you want to be aggravated. read more

Extremely rude employees. Went in for an upgrade at 630 pm and they ran my credit card before I got the phone and then basically threw it at me because they were closing at 730, a full hour later. Didn't help me with anything, barely asked me what I wanted (luckily I knew) and tried erasing my old phone 5 times before the new phone was set up even though I asked not to because i wanted to make sure I had everything just because they were in a rush. I have had several bad experiences with this store. I recently got two new iphones and changed one of my phone numbers in order to get the "buy 1 get 1 free" deal. The owner Victor told me there was a "99% chance" he would be able to refund the $60 in connect/upgrade fees that ATT charges. 1) When I called about the refund, I was repeatedly blown off with excuses and ATT told me that no attempt was made by the store to get the refund. 2) I found out 2 months after the purchase that the 2nd iPhone was *not* free since it was a 128GB model. Victor assured me it would be free. 3) Several years ago, a trade-in phone I gave to the store was not received by ATT and I was billed for it by. I made several attempts to correct this and was repeatedly told by Victor that he was taking care of it. Only after I contacted the Attorney General was it taken care of. (I suppose I was an idiot for going back to the store after this, but gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was a mix-up.) read more

Nasty money hungry people; originally said both phones would be free if I switched from metro to them. Of course they suckered me in, first bill was about 400 bucks, now I'm paying 80 buck extras month for THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE , legit I had to cross merrick rd to make a phone call while trying to take out money at my bank but needed an address and as usual call failed. Bank tellers first words were " AT&T?" I'm like yup worst mistake of my life. Internet is slower then an Obama phone. I look at my account, I'm being charged 29$ a month for my phone so I guess they weren't free because if you look at your first bill they take 100$ for each phone. Biggest scam artists there are and the second I can get a day off I'm unlocking both of these phones and taking them back to metro and closing the bank account AT&T bills, and when I went in and asked the manager at wantagh store why service is so slow and calls are dropped he tells me oh happens all the time. I've had Verizon, boost and metro and never had problems like this and then when I asked why my bill was so high he said he told me it would be that much. NO HE TOLD ME 120$ and that the first bill would be AT MOST 50$ more, not 400$ goddamm dollars. And when I explained that he never told me that he just goes eh that sucks doesn't it? Like what kind of business owner says that, YET HE WAS SOOO NICE WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO BUY THE PHONE. That store should be shut down, I can name 12 people who were gonna switch when they had that sale and I told them HELL NO and they didn't switch so at least I know they lost 12 sales thanks to lying to me. Idiots, one worker didn't even know how to back up an iPhone and then gave me someone else's galaxy that was there and I'm like uhh you gave me the wrong phone, I could've gotten that persons credit information; totally unprofessional and unorganized, honestly don't even know why they are open ; worst service I've ever had read more

Absolutely ridiculous. This is not the first time that I have walked in and no one is in the store. I called in the back if anyone was there. After waiting 4 minutes I called the store, and the phones kept ringing and no one came to see their customers. To top it off they are extremely rude when they actually are in the store. I agree with the previous review. I went there to get a new phone and they said that the only way I could get the new phone was if I got a bundle. They couldn't sell me the phone without charging me Extra for a car charger, screen protector and a phone case. It's been SIX WEEKS and I still have no case for my phone. I call them every week and ask for it. But still no case! Worse part is they won't give me my money back. Do yourself a favor and go to a AT&T corporate store. They can give you much better service there. read more

We came to the store for a SIM card replacement and they charged $33 for that job. Later we realize it will be free in an ATT corp store. So make sure you use an ATT corp store for your phone before getting to these retailers. read more

Similar to another reviewers experience, I came here for a SIM replacement and was told I needed to pay for it. After I told him that was not what the AT&T operator stated and the official website listed the SIM as free, he suggested I go to an official ATT store. Unfortunately, the store in Merrick was closed on Sunday but I was able to purchase from another authorized dealer on Sunrise Highway by Bellmore and Merrick for $5. This place will rip you off every chance it gets! read more

Went here to get an upgrade since I thought my daughters phone was beyond repair. They told me it couldn't be fixed and he couldn't get her contacts or pictures off of it because screen just had vertical lines on it. This place is ridiculous. They would even sell you the kitchen sink if you let them. They took me for over four hundred dollars and even sold me an iPad . They lie right to your face and unfortunately I was a sucker. Don't believe anything they tell you. Unfortunately sometimes you have to learn the hard way. Brought the old phone to place on sunrise hwy.and he fixed it in 30 minutes. They also lied to me and told me that I wouldn't be paying for iPad monthly. Called AT&T and they didn't want to hear it. Said I signed a two year contract for iPad and have to continue to pay 16 dollars monthly until 2 years are up. Don't trust these guys!!!! read more

Please BEWARE! I walked in one day as this location is close to my job because I was having issues with my phone. VICTOR "helped" me by telling me that my phone was basically shot and needed to upgrade anyway. I complied; It was time for a new phone anyway. The problem was not with the transaction but what happened afterwards. Victor told me that he was offering a me "FREE" tablet with my purchase (great, even though I have no need or interest)...what he NEGLECTED TO MENTION was that I was entering into a 2 year contract with a tablet that I'd be paying for monthly. Ultimately this would keep my bill down $20 HOWEVER there would be a $45 activation fee that he also, oops, forgot to tell me about. When I reached out to him and told him that he omitted this information and I had felt deceived he told he was actually doing me a favor. I told him that if he had been upfront with me and told me that entering into this contract was in my best interest and that there would be an activation fee I wouldn't have felt lied to. This nightmare continued when I reached out to ATT customer service TWICE and played phone tag with him 4 times in one month trying to return this unwanted tablet! He said he'd call me back and as you can probably guess nothing happened. I'm not a difficult person. I was in advertising sales for years and have completed many a transaction with integrity and honesty. Both of those aspects were missing from this interaction. BUYER BEWARE! read more
