I have been with Verizon for 27 years. We went into this location on June 20, 2025 to upgrade my father's iPad and we walked away with all these extra charges that we didn't know about nor did we authorize nor request. For example a home protection plan as well as Disney plus. Those were things that we would never ever have chosen to purchase. No mention from Verizon staff, just snuck that in. Beware of this location. Verizon mentioned that retail Verizon locations will do this to increase their revenue flow. Sounds like fraud to me. read more

This time around I got excellent service. I upgraded my phone to that iPhone 14. Max plan & now I notice they charge extra to assist with setting up the phone transfer & accessories. The more you buy, the bigger the discount. I got a Coach case that was $50-$60. Yah I know, my eyes got big at that sticker price. So Visalia didn't have the accessories I wanted so I went to the Hanford store. Customer reps there were awesome because it took a few hours to set up my phone. This experience was way way better this around, why? Well I paid an extra $30 for it and about $100 in accessories. That Discount: I was able to get a bigger & better discount, but to get that one has to make sure they have their REAL ID set up. Yep, I do -I'm all caught up in the Matrix. Everyone was a little rude when I walked in. All sitting down, no one offered to help. Walked right out.

Mike has to be one of the last reps left from a time where Verizon had skilled sales associates. Verizon used to hire people who knew how to help you, knew their plans and promotions and had people skills. To consumers, every manager and sales rep l've come across in this store has quickly left, been fired or replaced. The turnover rate for employees is baaad, coverage is marginal and they are too busy shifting blame from one to another to ever really find a good solution for you other than making a sale. GL to the Verizon stock and to the robots the price leaves in its wake. I'd give a 3 star review but I don't want anyone to think this place is any better than what the city of Visalia has declared. read more

I decided to transfer my line to something cheaper and once I did I could no longer long into my Verizon account, but the line transfer was completed and I could not use the line from Verizon anymore. I was not sent any text messages or email that I needed to call Verizon directly in order for them to completely disconnect my line. I did not find out that until I was charged for next billing cycle. They had said my line was only suspended, why would I suspend my line if the line transfer was completed and only had that one line. Again I couldn't log in so I was not aware of the status of the line nor was I contacted letting me know the status either, all I got was spam mail for deals. Once I called to get a refund they said it was for the month before but I clarified I already paid that month and has questioned why it was switched up. The person even said 3 times "Verizon has advanced payment" meaning you'd pay for the month in advance. Then once I pointed it out, they had said I was correct but was being charged because of the suspended account. This is when I was made aware that my line still existed as well as my account, I just didn't have any access to it. Once asked about my refund they tried to do a "pre rated credit" or something, so putting credits in the account I cannot access. When I said I didn't want to do that and wanted a refund I would have to request it instead, but get this... I would have to wait a month until it is completely processed and that they have my money in order to request a refund. Verizon is a scam when you don't keep track of your payments or line. read more

I wanted to give a shout out to Samantha for helping me out this evening. I rarely ever go into the store for anything & today I was dreading going in because I assumed I was going to get the run around on a troubleshooting issue with my phone. However, as soon as I walked in, Samantha greeted me, stood up and asked what I needed today. I explained an issue with internet connection & my SIM card. Right away she asked to see my phone, took the case off & went into the settings. I could tell she knew exactly what the problem was. In the end, she resolved my connection problems. Overall, I loved that she was very personable, I didn't feel like I was speaking to a sales person, just a very motivated & friendly individual. I went and got a quote from this store and then told them I was going to att for another quote, came back to set up service and they marked my account as fraud and they would not help so we went to the Verizon store on Dinuba and they got ahold of fraud and apparently micheal and Carlos from the Mooney store marked us as fraud after proving we had a legit license . They were extremely rude people from the Verizon Mooney store . After 5 days of no service they agreed to fix it and gave us a quote at $336 a month for 3 phones. Needles to say we are att customers now, att came to our home and brought our new phones and set it all up at home without having any troubles. read more

That like to make promises to customers and then make up reasons why they couldn't uphold their "promise". Smh. There's just too much to say about this location. The person who greeted us said they had a "large" shipment that came in when asked if the phones I wanted were in stock in the numbers I wanted but when it came time to actually choosing phones, they suddenly didn't get the shipment and only had 4 phones left in what I had asked prior. Granted there were 4 customers ahead of me. 4 single customers wouldn't buy out their stock. I wouldn't recommend this location. This is one shady operation after being with them over 7 years due to contracts paying over 300 a month for 3 lines my 18 year old daughter broke her phone so since i work graveyard i let her go in to do insurance claim rather then doing that the company representative instead added a new line with promising a free phone so a month later i get a huge bill wondering where this new number came from????? So basically i was told its not connected to anything vasically its thin air and since a month went by cant cancel it or anything so my wife and i decide to transfer our phones to another provider keep one line to my daughters phone the other to my samsung watch thqt they sold me 6 months ago for 199 on payments so after changing providers we get our daughter bill this months for the 2 lines our bill was 458 dollars i called they said to go in talk to store manegr whitch i did today she informed ke that i now was charged a penalty default off 300 dollar pay off on the watch so 100 more then i was sold for on top of 6 monhs paying 25 a month it and she could not tranfer the number thats in thin air to the watch it wasnt posdible so today i had to pay 458 plus still under contract for 2 years now on 2 lines when only one being used insane crooked scammers all so one person could make commision adding a line to my account they have zero solutions other then telling me to pay or its going collectins with late fees so we payed but id becareful to do any buisness with these folks manager the employess are rude and have zero care once they sale ya get ya under contract they wont lift a finger to help all they will do is basically show you how they screwed ya over and then how you cant do nothing about it is how they operate FYI read more

A football game is I se in less than 3 hours ! You can make a car purchase in less than 3 hours . Customers service is garbage! It has been a battle to get adequate help just to pay a bill and get billed. For whatever reason they refunded the money back to the bank more than one time which makes it late! I can't wait for the contract to finish so that I can switch providers! Just got my Samsung Galaxy tablet 10.1 from Pedro Perez at this store. He's been helping me with all things wireless for the past 4 years now. When he switched from working AT&T to Verizon, I switched my providers as well. This is the kind of sales rep/customer care rep that every store should want. Hell, they would want to clone him if possible. If you have a question about a smart phone, dumb phone, tablet accessory... you name it. Pedro knows the specs, and the uses for it. I may be a smart phone/telecommunication geek but he's the telecommunication GOD. IF you have Verizon, this is the place to go. I can promise with 100% certainty that if you were one of my customers when I worked for AT&T in Red Bluff, you will get the same level of service I gave... Why? Worst customer service ever my husband went in today to ask about our plan and the guy who helped him was extremely rude, after what happened we will never go back to Verizon we're in the process to switching to at&t. First off instead of being rude to the customer and telling him to leave you should realize customers are the ones who help you have a job. If a customer goes in and needs or has questions it's your JOB to help them out in any way possible. I'm a manager myself and I would never treat anyone the way they treated my husband. I stopped by the store to pick up a new phone I ordered for my son. I did not have the credit card on my person that I made the purchase. They would not help me. My wife had the card. If a company will not help some who had id and had already purchased an item this is not customer centric. Version makes it so difficult for customers to purchase an item and get the item make me want to trash my entire account and switch to any other carrier. They are not protecting me or my account they are making it impossible for me to pick up the phone I already purchased online. Verizon Wireless Order Location: 0895801#970098 - Sales Specialist "Israel" I purchases a iPhone 7+ from the Verizon store in Hanford CA! I received great service from that store! I use my phone (like most Americans) for everything and have went over my data plan several times causing me to extended out my data plan. I have switched to another cell phone company that will allow me to have unlimited data usage. Since I did not want to end with Verizon on bad terms I decided to go and close my number at the 4007 S. Mooney Blvd Visalia CA 93277 store. I had a specialist by the name of Israel advise that I do not have the option to make additional payments on my phone and said I have to pay my entire phone off in full if I want to close my number. (Understood) He also advised that even if I would to keep my line OPEN that I still do NOT have the option to make additional payments on my phone and "that is just the way it is!" I asked for a copy of my retail agreement and this is what I found! This sales specialist made sure to take my $929.43 payment just to tell me that he could NOT close my number until the beginning of my phone cycle. When Verizon was contacted on the phone they closed my line, but I wanted to avoid paying $929.43 at once and would of been more comfortable making $200-$300 monthly payments on my OPEN phone line. The fact that Israel "did not know how the payments work and that's just the way it is!" Had me flabbergasted that a million dollar company can have a "just the way it is policy!" read more

Brought my iPhone X to the Verizon off Dinuba Blvd. because it kept restarting itself (glitching). A man dressed very nicely compared to the other employee helped me. He looked as if he was a manager or supervisor at the least. I showed him my phone and he tells me "oh no, we can't do anything for you. You have to go to the apple store in Fresno for that". I told him I have insurance through Verizon and he responded with "yea I but we can't help you here" I asked if any other Verizon could help in which he replied "no". I ended up going to this Verizon and what started as one person helping me turned into five people. Needless to say, they told me what was wrong with my phone and how to fix it (I needed to hook up to iTunes) they let me know that if it continued to happen to come in and they would order me a new phone. When I stopped him and told him that before we continued he needed to change his tone and language, he said it was very rude of me to interrupt him.
