They are a PREPAID service because they do not provide what you are paying for and will use that as an excuse to not refund your money. "A refund would be impossible" -James from customer service. *As of right now I am on the phone trying to get a refund for this past month of well below sub-par service. If they don't work with me at all I will be making a report to the BBB. **If you read this report and still decide to go with them, do not upgrade your services. Get the lowest plan because your upgrade will not do you any good anyway. The only change is what you see on your statement every month when they take your money via automatic withdrawals (they do not provide statements or bills).

    I have been a customer for over 5 years. Living in a rural area, reliable internet used to be hard…read moreto come by, so I was glad to find Unwired at first. I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

We brought in our 2025 Apple MacBook (only about 3 months old) to ask about repair options. Screen has a black vertical line The first employee we spoke with was very nice and told us they could send it out to Apple for repairs for around $500. He said he was about to go off shift but that someone else would be with us shortly to finish the paperwork. Instead, we waited about an hour before another employee finally came out. His attitude and information were completely different. He told us it wasn't worth repairing and immediately started trying to sell us a new laptop for around $1,200. When we explained that the previous employee had just told us repairs would be about $500, he suddenly left and came back saying they had "run the numbers" and now Apple would charge $650 or possibly more. The price and story kept changing, which made the whole situation feel very questionable. Another red flag was that they asked us to turn off the "Find My" feature before even moving forward with anything. At that point the entire interaction felt off, so we decided to take our laptop and leave. This is a three-month-old MacBook, and the way the situation went from a reasonable repair estimate to being pushed toward buying a new laptop felt very strange and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like we were being steered toward a sale rather than given honest repair advice.
