My brother and I came into this AT&T store earlier in the day asking questions about an upgrade since those promos lock you into a 36-month commitment. We wanted to think about it first before committing to something that long, so we left and came back later once we decided we were ready. When we came back, I personally was ready to buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB that same day. We weren't just browsing -- we came back with the intention of actually doing the upgrade. Instead we ended up waiting around for over an hour without being helped. The store wasn't even busy either. There were only two customers being helped, yet we were just sitting there waiting the entire time. What really made it worse was the manager. While we were still waiting, the manager went over to help one of the two customers who was already being helped, instead of helping us after we had already been sitting there. After sitting there that long with no help, we just left. For a main corporate AT&T store in Visalia, the way things were handled felt pretty unorganized and honestly just disappointing. read more

I don't even know why I even bother coming back to this store... oh wait it's the MAIN CORPORATE LOCATION in Visalia! I have been to this store over a dozen times and have never left happy nor satisfied! Today (3/13/26) me and my brother went in earlier and were asking questions about a upgrade which would LOCK YOU WITH THEM FOR 36 MONTHS FOR A PROMO so yes we had a few questions to ask which led us to leave to think about it. Later we came back to confirm the upgrade but just ended up WAITING AROUND FOR OVER AN HOUR before leaving! The store wasn't full (There was literally two other people being helped but not us, mind you this was for AN HOUR), we were there two hours before closing, when we went out of our way to ask a question the workers were dismissive as if we weren't going to buy a 2k phone... disappointing, dismissive, ignorant, and lazy are all words I can 100% say are true. Im not normally the type to leave a review but after speaking to an AT&T representative I absolutely need to. There was a STARK difference between the customer service I received in-person versus over the phone. If I could leave zero stars I would. AT&T is a great company to have but their in store representatives need training in integrity AND quality customer service. I went in to get a new phone with a new number - traded in a pink iPhone 13 to get credits towards the new phone. I wanted a white iPhone16 Pro Max with 256GB. He went to the back brought out a Natural Titanium iphone, charged me for it, and told me to set it up - a very rushed and hurried process. I had opened the box and saw it wasn't what I had asked for (I should have known better, it says the color on the back of the box but I assumed that was the correct color since he had brought it out, I mean this is his JOB) and we had to start the process over. I was charged $102 but was only refunded FORTY SEVEN DOLLARS. I was charged a restocking fee of $55 for *HIS* mistake!!!!! After that I paid ANOTHER $102 to order the phone I wanted since it wasn't in stock at the store. The whole process was SO rushed. After the new phone came i went back into the store to set it up. He didn't go over payment plans or how my bill would change, he added insurance AND the next up plan WITHOUT telling me. After setting up the phone I left but wasn't getting any service so I went back in to get the problem addressed. He did some things on my phone to try and get the service back, but while he was on my phone he took it upon himself to go into my messages and text the number (I'm assuming this is how it works) for me to leave a review/answer a survey for him. He also failed to mention that I had to pay for THREE lines (I only have 2 active devices/phone numbers) for NINETY DAYS to continue getting the credit towards the new iPhone ($33 without credit, $10 with the credit). My phone bill increased by ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHT DOLLARS because of this!! From a $158 phone bill to $336!! I had no idea about ANY of this until I called a representative to get everything sorted out because there was no way in HELL I was going back into that store. Moral of the story, if you want quality customer service do everything over the phone. With that being said I want to shout out Christie/Christy for getting everything sorted out for me. I appreciate your help SOOOOO much you have no idea. I will definitely be asking for you anytime I'm in need of assistance. read more

Staff is nice, HOWEVER; The woman who helped me lied to me. I went in to upgrade my phone and during the process she told me it was mandatory to add the $10 Next Up and the $17 Insurance to my plan, even though I was adamant I did not want it. She told me she HAD to add it and then I could go in the app and take it off, so I just said okay fine. I went home and tried to remove it and couldn't. I contacted support and was told I had to wait 14 days to remove it and that they did not know why she said she had to add those plans, because it was not mandatory. So, she lied to get whatever "kick backs" they get for adding them to customer's plans. Also, they no longer transfer your information over for you and you have to take your old phone back to the store, which I was unaware of until after I paid the taxes and finished everything (I haven't upgraded in years). All this to say, if you want to upgrade, just do it online. You can select no on the add ons she put on my account and just mail your old device back. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my second review of this store in the last couple of years and I am sorry to say it has not changed. They truly have no idea what the heck they are doing. I needed to change my service, split my family plan. After much discussion with a "manager" sitting at a counter, the sales person said that we would have to get a full new number that we couldn't keep our current number and split the plan so we left went to Tulare's AT&T store, and our request was done, keeping our old number, in less than 10 minutes. The reps and the managers lie about offers to get commission and then leave you hanging when the account is set up wrong therefore causing the promotions they sold you on to be invalid. Then refuse to return my trade in. Different managers and different reps ALL refused to correct the mess. DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ERIC, VINCENT, MIGUEL OR LETTY. They will sell you shady promotions and set you up with a disaster account and refuse to fix it. This store is always busy. I normally go to the Tulare store as it's less crowded and their associates are much friendlier. Each time I've gone to the Visalia store, I they seem to rush me out and not fully assist me ; it's like a assembly line . A less rushed service ,would be appreciated The purpose of my visit was to buy a Nano SIM Card for my Moto G5 Plus. As of several months ago , AT&T no longer provides free replacement SIM cards. No big deal as it was only $5. Clearly this location doesn't have a manager. There is no order at all at the front door. There is a clearly labeled line to wait in and customers were waiting everywhere but the line! Nobody from the store said anything, two customers walked right into the store without even trying to join a line. I don't mind waiting, but how the hell is this even supposed to work? The customer service is generally good, but the phone plans they offer have become complicated and there are so many restrictions. I think the sales associates do the best they can, but AT&T has become lost when it comes to customer service. And the tellers here are very pushy about selling certain products. I get there's an expectation on them to sell certain items, but when I SAY I know what phone I want, and that I'm making a very educated decision based on MY needs, then I dont2need you muttering under your voice that x would be the better choice. This store has continually, year after year provided substandard service but today took the cake! I went in to the store because my personal hotspot did not work. After the representative messed with my phone, he said for some reason it was locked up now. Mind you, I went into the store with a phone that functioned fine. He then took my phone into the back room for an EXTENDED amount of time and came back and said he was sorry, they did not have the technology to unlock my phone. I was very frustrated as I needed my personal hotspot tonight for business. Okay, I could do without that but not without a functioning phone! He then said he was sorry and said I could work on it at home. Yeah right. I asked him if I could just buy a new phone and transfer my information over. He said no because it was locked. I would expect the "experts" to give excellent customer service and work until an issue like this was resolved. Very disappointed. read more

Completely disrespected by the store manager Rosa said it was perfectly fine that I notify corporate notifying them of them bypassing me in line after waiting an hour and a half in line and telling me I would need to come back again or make a reservation. He was SO helpful and ended up realizing me and my bf were being charged an extra $100 every month!! Very disappointed. Normally they are pretty busy and I recieve better service. Today i came in with my son and there was one person waiting ahead of us. There was literally 6 employees on the floor and 2 were occupied with other customers. They called the guy ahead of us. While we waited for assistance, 2 other women came in. The employees that were not occupied were walking around talking as if the store was empty. Then, they not only came and got got one of the ladies that came in after us, but they also came and helped the second lady. I felt completely INVISIBLE. The first thing the associate asked me was, "do you have the phone with you?". I didn't and he casually stated "we can't add a new line without the phone"... Really??? I sat in the store for an hour for nothing??? Why didn't the door greeter ask me if I had the phone with me when she "greeted" me and asked "what are we doing for you today". I went in to upgrade mine and my daughters phone around Christmas and the sales associate Carmen, talked me into signing up for DirecTV because there was a "promotion" going on (with the help of the manager) and said I would only be paying $58/month for the Xtra package. Should have known it was too good to be true because when the bill came in, the bill was for $448!!! We called this store to coMplain and to get this fixed and they said that they are just ""Sales Associates" and that there's nothing they can do. This is technically a breach of contract because that is NOT what I was promised and what I signed up for. Now I have to pay a $460 cancellation fee?? I have reached out to my lawyer to pursue legal action against the store and DirecTV for not honoring what I was told. read more

Had a horrible experience with another authorized dealer! They screwed up our contract and didn't even port in our numbers from our old phone service provider. And to top it off ATT wanted to charge another deposit on top of what we paid! *uber sadface* Luckily Eric was there to save the day! He stayed late to help resolve our situation but we still had to come back the next day because the corporate office was closed. Came back the next day and sure enough, Eric was there to complete our contact and set up our plan the right way. He was even able to fix the problem of porting our numbers.
