I went to get my iPhone screen replaced after being recommended this place from my dad and my professor. I am not impressed. From the outset, the sketchy-feeling location of the immediate/surrounding area where this place is located as well as the clear lack of punctuality make the experience less than it could be. The lady at the front desk told me that the phone would be ready within 45 minutes, but she didn't call the number that I gave her at all, even 2 hours later. I came back around 1:45pm and the sign said that they were on lunch break, and that they would be back by 2pm. I had to wait until around 2:20-2:25pm for them to return. I thought that that was irksome. Additionally, for whatever reason I am currently experiencing glitches when I am typing on my iPhone keyboard. This did not seem to happen whatsoever before I got my screen replaced. I am going to ask for another replaced screen, and see how my phone is after that. Edit: I went back to get the screen replaced again because my keyboard wouldn't stop experiencing glitches when typing, but even with the new screen that they added on, it is still experiencing glitching. You can see this taking place in my screen recording attached to this review. The owner of this business states that they have the "best" replacement parts in the business on this Yelp page. I say that that is a vague and misleading statement. On the contrary, you are looking at a possibly inferior product here. I paid $70 for a slightly faulty screen, and I was not informed that it would be faulty in the slightest. Sure, it is a notch cheaper than Apple would've charged to do the job fully well, but what I care more about here is the fact that this company claimed that their parts were the best, which, again, I find to be a misleading statement and hence probably bad business practice. It is a shame too that many others who have received an inferior product from this company may be ignorant of the fact that it is anything other than "best", and are passing faulty information around to people like me to persuade them that they can get the "best" parts at a lesser price from here than directly from Apple. When Apple says that they have the best parts, I know that what they say is true from experience. In the opposite vein, I doubt that what this business says is true going forward because when they said that they have the best parts, I know now that what they said is misleading and potentially deceitful. read more

My battery finally gave out on my IPhone 12 Pro Max. Called a few stores and was quoted $120 and up. Until I got ahold of this place. Changed the battery within 30 minutes and the cost was less than half the other places gave me. A few days after changing the battery, it started acting funny. Turns out it was a bad battery, but thankfully the repair came with a three month warranty. They got me right in and put a new one in. Love how quick and friendly they are. Side note: I also needed a speaker replaced on my phone. I was quoted $150 for that repair by a different shop. What that other shop failed to tell me was that my phone model had issues with the speaker in regards to the "board" and replacing it wasn't going to fix the issue. Replaced my phone screen with an aftermarket screen (which I didn't mind until I noticed the screen lag and the bottom of the screen was bigger than normal which made it look like an android). Jesse Posada 22 hours ago On Saturday, I took my working iPhone 5S to have the screen replace, because the screen had popped out or sticking up. I was told that they would call me when it was repaired, that it usually takes about an hour. I had just gotten home when I received a text from them and to call them. I called them back. They told me that the reason that the screen had popped up or sticking up, was that the battery had swollen up or expanded. This was causing pressure on the screen which in turn pushed the screen up. That it would be an additional $20 to change the battery. I gave them permission to do so. When I went to pick up my phone they said that phone was "boot looping" which means that the iPhone is stuck on the Apple Logo or is in a constant rebooting mode. They told me that my iPhone would have to restore my back to factory and that it would done by the next day. I called them on Sunday and the iPhone was still "boot looping" and to call them on Monday. I called them on Monday. They basically said that they couldn't fix the "boot looping" issue. But that there would be no charge for their work. Really? Wow how nice of them! I took them a working iPhone and now it's not working. They suggested that I take it to Best Buy or the Apple Store. On Tuesday I took my iPhone to the Apple Store in Fresno. The Apple rep told me, because I taken my iPhone to a non Apple authorize repair shop, that all he could was to try to reboot my iPhone. After numerous attempts he said that he was sorry and that there was nothing more he could do. He also told me that in future to bring it to them or to Best Buy which is an authorize Apple repair shop. And if Best Buy couldn't fix it that I could still bring it to them. Oh yea get this, the Apple rep told me, that what I had now was basically a "BRICK." I called the iPhone repair shop and told what the Apple rep told me. The iPhone repair shop tech said that he was "SORRY TOO!" Nothing about making it RIGHT or how about giving me another iPhone to replace mine? That was a hard lesson for me to learn. It was amazing, the worker was so nice and he was so understanding. The price was very reasonable for what you would request. I requested for a screen repair and he gave me two options, the first one was a cheaper version that was not as good as the better one that was more expensive, but since he didn't have the more expensive one in stock, he let me get the cheaper one for regular price and gave me the option that when his more expensive option comes in stock, he'll subtract the price of the cheaper one from the price of the expensive one. Very friendly and professional, did not feel I was over-charged for a 6s battery and screen replacement; however, when I went in last week to have my phone repaired, I saw 6 phones sitting on the desk and while I'm compassionate and understanding to a "rush" and understand that the gentleman working on the phones had a good list of phones to complete, please remember there are risks with having any electronic device repaired by any third party company. My battery is working great and holding a charge all day instead of dying at 10am after charging all night, my screen on the other hand seems to be malfunctioning in regards to the 3D Touch feature along with a subtle clicking when pressure is applied to the upper right hand side of the screen. When I went in to get their opinion on these issues, they took my screen off and placed it back onto the phone assuring it was properly placed and the clicking stopped for about an hour and a half only to return again. I was able to write this off as I assumed it was an issue with the frame of my phone and do not blame them as the screen is clear and void of any damage. Their advice on my 3D Touch, was to soft restart my phone and said it was a software issue, then explained to me my phone would take time to "relearn" my habits with typing, pressure touching, etc. I have a BS in computer information systems and know that an issue with something like 3D Touching is more of a hardware issue, if the screen itself cannot interpret your key stroke, ie. a 3D Touch, it cannot be interpreted by the software, iOS. I support local businesses and Visalia IPhone Repair has very modest prices, however I must advise anyone seeking solutions for repair of their device anywhere but the manufacturing company that indulging in a third party's services runs the risk of improper repair and possible side effects from the repair. read more

They charged $130 and used very low quality components to repair my broken screen. It cracked to pieces same day they replaced it, just sitting there on a table.
