I'm giving 1 star because the manager Ernest did keep his word & credit the account $40. He wouldn't have had to do that if the employees did their jobs properly. Let me tell you about it. Son's phone is broken by no fault of his own. It's a malfunction inside it that had nothing to do with my son. I went inside the store to order a replacement. The rep named Harlan didn't change the shipping address correctly and the phone & label were sent to my dad's house. He lives 90 miles away from me. I called and talked to Ernest who offered to credit me. Taking an extra Saturday to drive to my dad's get the phone, then drive to my son's place (another 50 miles) then up to Verizon (another 20 miles) just so this phone can get shipped & changed over to the replacement was a HUGE PAIN IN THE ARSE! Did I mention I had to take my son back home before I could go home? He's a teenager and I'd rather make sure the broken phone gets sent out properly but this was ridiculous! All because Harlan didn't change the shipping address. I don't know if I'll be doing business with this place again. I'd rather go somewhere I can trust the employees a little more. read more

I had the worst customer service today. This young girl did not want to be there Kandi. She was more concerned with her pencil pant and 6" heels. She has no business working there. After a bad experience with a sales person at sprint not giving me all of the information in order to make a sale, Verizon went and did the same thing. I began the switch to Verizon when they were offering $150 rebate for bringing your own device. Since I was having to buy myself out of sprint, this was greatly appreciated. By the time Sprint finally got their ducks in a row, the rebate was only $100. I was fine with that. It was something. I was going to walk out paying nothing and was eyeing the Apple watch when I was reminded of the rebate. I asked when I should expect the rebate and was told a couple of weeks. It is has now been over a month and after listening to hold music for 20 minutes before speaking with a person, the rep tells me the store should have told me 45 days and it will be 2 months when all is said and done. I'm really getting tired of these sales reps saying whatever they can to make the sale. Not happy. read more

Our experience going from att to Verizon was nice and went well (obviously they want our business) but they sales rep told us that 5gb should be enough for the average person, my husband hit that a week after getting the phone and when we had went to the store I purposely have her my ID to add me on the account and sure enough I'm not an authorized user... between att, direct tv, and Verizon I always run into this issue if the account is opened in my husbands name! It's the most annoying thing ever when I go to pay bills or call while he's at work and what we though we prevented the sales rep failed to do read more

They are lucky I am giving it even one star. That's only because Verizon service is so good. It's a shame that this particular store has such awful employees. ESPECIALLY one woman that works there-I think her name is Kandi or something-she is not friendly AT ALL!!! She made me feel like I was inconveniencing her-And it's not the first time she has acted like that. I think that they need to choose the employees that deal with CUSTOMERS on a daily basis a little more carefully. I seriously wanted to end my contract early and take the early termination fee. Sales person Kandi is deceiving and a liar. I went into store to upgrade my daughter's phone and let her know I only want phone no accessories because the price would go up. She gave a rough estimate foe a two year plan of more less around $240.00 out the door for a iPhone 5S. I told her that online the phone is $99.00. And she said I would have to pay whole retail price taxes on the phone plus activation and that is why the price would be around the $200 price range. I had mentioned to her that I got my phone online for $99.00 and I didn't pay close to $200.00 to activate it and taxes. So she said that I should go withv the "edge" plan and that I would pay around $100.00 out the door. She didn't explain what I was paying for $100.00 dollars at this point. So we was walked to the counter she said her words "with the edge the budle is included." So I agreed with this plan because I thought it was a great deal to get the bundle included with the "edge plan." Well I signed everywhere she tild me to sign on her tablet. She explained what I was signing and she said the activation fee was being waived (I thought wow, I'm getting a great deal) so when she gave me the total I did question the if the case my daughter got was part of the bundle and because I thought the price of $140+ was a little more than I expected to pay. She "oh no, let me get my manager to discount it." So he did discounted it and new price I had to pay was around $123.00 (But remember, she said with the edge the bundle is included). Well I went on and signed everything to finis the transaction. She never showed me the numbers. I knew I was paying retail value for phone and that I would make a monthly discounted price a month. She didn't print the receipt for me. She said I could look at my receipt through my email. So I went home and I didn't bother to look at my receipt 'till two days later. Well, to my surprise, I paid for the accessories ("the bundle is included with the edge"). I was little upset because she had lied to me. My mistake at the time when I was at the store I should have asked to see the breakdown of what I was paying for and grand total of phone. Well I went into store today (five days later) to return everything I got because I was lied to by Kadi. Kadi was next to the lady that was helping and she dwnied everything. My daughter was with me and heard Kandi words five days prior. From the $123.00 I paid, thy kept $24.00 for the temper glass that was "included in the edge" and they charged me more or less $32.00 for restocking fee for the phone. The manager was not apologetic at all. The whole store liars! If you are thinking of upgrading go online. I will never step foot at this store again. read more

I've been with Verizon for quite some time now and they are a good provider, and very very expensive. With that being said YOU WOULD THINK that I would be treated a little better and maybe met with a little bit of gratitude since I swayed two different people from going with AT&T a HUGE competitor. With two new people at Verizon, meaning more money for them, I was still treated like I didn't matter. The person who sold us the phones didn't walk us through the phone's functions, wasn't informative at all or an expert in the field. Couldn't even really help us with case selections. When it came to transferring all of my stuff I was met with a simple "our wifi isn't functioning properly" and sent on my way to do it on my own at home. He was more interested in finding out what we do for fun so that he can sell us more products instead of trying to give us what we wanted. I asked for a sturdy case but not too expensive and he kept pushing the case that's over $100 just to make a sale. He was nice enough but the overall pushy salesman mentality without being informative = major fail. I'm in sales so I definitely know better. Nice try. I'm not technologically challenged but I don't know much about this new model so a walk through would've been nice. Treat all of your customers like they're new to it all, be an expert. Not impressed at all. I expect more from a Verizon store but nope. Just a bunch of dummies bouncing around cool new toys and trying to sell it all to who they THINK are other dummies. The girls at the desk were mean mugging the entire time, maybe a smile wouldn't kill those pretty faces. The men are generally much more friendly than the females which is strange and sad. The bitchy female attitude doesn't quite work in a customer service setting. Went in about a month ago wanting to get a new phone with Verizon because of their coverage. BAD EXPERIENCE. Sales rep, A. Gutierrez, spent a lot of time (2 hours) telling me how I was going to have a $300 credit with trading in my old smart phone. He suggested tablets, speakers for my laptop, and new headphones (all things I could buy with the remainder of the $300 credit). Long story short, he wanted me to sign a paragraph that read, "... by signing, you agree to an Early Termination Fee...." when he said there was no ETF and that this paragraph just hadn't been updated. He said I had to sign it to get to the part where I would sign the contract for the installment plan for my new phone. When I told him I couldn't do that, he asked the manager to come out and speak to me. I don't remember the manager's name but he had a Latino first name and a stout build. He told me the same thing, that I had to sign it (electronically). I walked out and went to MetroPCS for a free phone and unlimited talk, text, and data for $40 per month which suits my needs! Both A. Gutierrez and the manager were professional in their behavior, I'll give them that. But I also learned from Verizon via online chat and exploring their website, that my old phone didn't qualify for a trade-in for that $300 credit I was promised. Horrible customer service! Waited around for about 30-45 min. We needed to reset the password for online account but we were told "you can use this phone to call customer service".. We did that, that is why we are here.. I told the lady the new password is being sent to my husbands broken phone. She didn't understand she had to be told like 4-5 times that the password can't be reset. We got nothing done here at all it was all just wasted time. We went in first thing in the morning and were happily greeted by Ahlam. He was awesome at his job, the way a salesperson should be....knows his product, offered up all of the specials, not pushy at all.
