Beware! They are quick to take your money but are trash when it comes to customer service. A simple upgrade on one of our 5 cell phone lines turned into repeated visits back to store. The store manager is about as clear and helpful as the cell service. Shotty at best. read more

Constant lies and they lost my cell phones. Traded in the wrong one by serial number and im losing g credits and being overcharged for what was promised. No follow up when promised. Been waiting on a call since 6/28. Rep will not return calls. Phone system routes you through endless prompts with no resolution. Only "hope" is to catch rwp in office when you stop by. Kique was at front desk when I went in. Afters showing him my new phone & asking him to set up for me, I was told it was fake. And that was the moment I began to cry. I'm 71, not all that tech savvy, and now I was ripped off by Amazon. Enrique (Kique) got me water, moved me to a table, and offered support about the fake phone. He discussed pros/cons of 2 different phones. He talked about prices, gave me estimate sheets on each. Professional, very kind, knowledgeable, not condescending, and knows his business. Been here 3x and all times we were greeted in a friendly manner and received helpful and adequate service. We were also offered water during our time there. We liked dealing with Bobby so much the first time, we requested him the other 2x. He's a funny guy, friendly, honest, and very helpful. Beware of working with Jerome. He was extremely unprofessional and displayed a major lack of integrity as detailed below. Use caution with the other sales representatives knowing that this is the type of employee they hire. On 5/2, I brought a client here to set up his first ever phone account. Jerome did not explain things clearly at all and I had to keep clarifying so my client could understand. At the very end of the process, Jerome entered the wrong phone number to port over. He was unable to resolve the issue, so he told my client that we would have to start the process over and that we would be reimbursed. By 5/14, we had not yet been reimbursed and had heard nothing from Jerome or anyone else from Verizon. My client called and told him we would be coming to the store, and suddenly Jerome processed the reimbursement five minutes before we arrived. It's unacceptable that Jerome lied to my client on 5/2 and told him the reimbursement was processed, then did nothing about it until 5/14 when he knew we were coming back to the store. This is extremely shady and makes me question if he was trying to steal my client's money. In addition, there was a $100 security deposit that was not documented, and Jerome said he was unable to reimburse it and we'd have to call Customer Service. Ninety minutes later on the phone with customer service, we got the $100 refunded. read more

DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY!!!! I had a terrible experience at this location where i was lied to about what my bill was going to be about three years ago. I told myself that i would never go back. Here i am, this is almost the same experience. I tried them again, and i even explained my previous situation. I was assured that this time would be much better. My son needed a new phone, we stopped in and a man told us about how there was a promotion running that would pay off our old phone and give us up to $1000 credit twards the new phone. I was very skeptical, so i wrote everything down and asked a ton of questions. About three weeks later, when i received my bill, it was almost double from what i had been told. I called the customer service line to wait 45 minutes to get to talk to someone, and they told me they could see where the mistake was made and they would apply a credit before the bill was due. When the direct payment came out about a week later, it was still double. I called the customer service line again and waitedanothe 50 minutes. They said the request to give a credit put in was denied? I am still waiting on a call back from a supervisor, and it has been three days. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY LIE! read more

LUPE was incredibly rude and had horrible customer service skills. She talked to us like we were children that she was scolding when we expressed confusion and asked basic questions about a payment plan and discounts. Her tone was very condescending and she clearly just had a somewhat arrogant attitude. It felt like someone was taking personal offense to my questions and trying to argue with me rather than remaining calm and polite. I really did not expect this kind of treatment when we have had good experiences with different employees at this location! At one point I just was staring at her in shock over how unprofessional she was acting. Fast food workers have better customer service skills than this. However, the young girls who were seemingly taking a break outside were very polite and greeted us cheerfully - I have to give them credit for that. It's disappointing that they were more polite and professional than their higher-up. What is most concerning about this is that I know she has been employed at this location for years at this point. Multiple other reviewers have had similar experiences with her. She has undoubtedly caused Verizon to lose many customers over the years if this is the attitude she typically displays towards them. It is a serious oversight by Verizon to keep someone like this employed for years with seemingly no repercussions nor consequences for how she treats customers. read more

Worst customer service! Very little inventory. I went in to get a new phone, he sold me on one, (of the maybe 6 on display), then told me they didn't have any, so I bought a more expensive one. I went immediately back into the store, after leaving, to ask something, the clerk NEVER came out of the back room, FINALLY I asked someone else to help, after standing there for about 15 minutes. And, NO they had no other customers, at that time. And, I cannot find a cover for it either!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! (And not happy with the new phone.) read more

This location goes from bad customer service to no customer service I stopped by to look at some headphones at 5:40 PM the door says their open till 6:00 PM and of course the place is locked up tight. Ridiculous I'm in the retail business too. I pulled in at 650 pm yesterday and that's Friday night where u expect to be busier and I knew they don't close until 7 . I don make it a habit coming right as they close but that's what time I could get there after work . But no one there they close early ??? I'm in retail business and we stay open til the last minute , if they come at 659 we still have to help them . As always, OUTSTANDING customer care, service, and support from Dakota at the Verizon store on 9046 S Houghton Rd, Tucson, AZ, 85747. Scheduling the appointment on-line was easy and the phone changeover was painless. My appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM, but I arrived early. Since they were not too busy, Dakota saw me earlier so that I wouldn't have to wait until 1:00 PM. He was very thorough in answering all (and there were many) questions using very non-technical, easy to understand terminology. He even fixed my ongoing Microsoft Outlook issues that plagued my old phone. So glad we switched carriers years ago!!! read more

Once again this location has had horrible customer service. The heavy set girl in the front was too busy playing on her phone to check us in but immediately helped those that walked in after us. They had 2 people that were actually assisting customers while the other two were standing around talking And a lobby full of people That had also stated they had been waiting for at least 20 minutes. Very poor service. We went to the Verizon store on Houghton to switch our internet service to Verizon internet. After waiting for over 45 minutes to be helped, we were informed that adding the internet and combining our plans would be wise to save money. We agreed and asked for assistance making that switch. Instead of being helped, we were given a phone number to call to do it. after calling the number, it didn't work so we had to call tech support. after spending an hour and a half on the phone, we were told we'd have to go into the store to get a SIM card. this time we scheduled an appointment. we still had to wait iver 10 minutes after arriving to be helped. When the assistant sat down she asked what the problem was and we explained. She could not find the notes in our account so she asked to see IDs. one of did not bring ID with us, so she refused to help us, even though they helped us over the phone without having to see ID. After running home and retuning with ID less than five minutes later, we sat for another 15 minutes while there were more employees in the store than customers. This is the third time in this store in which I have had to take way more time out of my day than it should take to help with basic needs. read more

We went into the Verizon store at Houghton and Old Vail Road yesterday about 1130. Had finally accepted that my old phone was lost, beyond all search efforts and Find Lost Phone apps. Store was quiet. Meet promptly by friendly staff and we're told two customers ahead of us. 10 minutes or so Derek finds us and we start talking. Another customer comes up saying she was next. Turns out she was indeed next but had not responded to several calls for her name. Derek excused himself to serve her, which we stated was the correct thing to do of course. She was on the borderline between appropriately assertive and hostile. hope the rest of her day went better. Anyway, after a bit Derek returned, guided us through choices on a replacement phone, insurance claim,etc. he was very knowledgeable about details of different plans, setting up the new phone, etc. he has a nice dry sense of humor we enjoyed. Two conclusions: don't go to this store at the lunch hour, and they don't have an express line for those of you are computer experts vs. us old coots who want a Cricket phone with a rotary dial. read more

If not for Aaron the manager, I would probably give this store a 2 star rating . The store itself is new, very cleaning, has seating for customers and has plenty of clerks to sell you assorted goodies. I bought a new 7 and was rushed though sales and accessories without reviewing my current iPhone 6 problems and contracts . I was somewhat discombobulated as my husband and dog had just been evacuated from sawmill fire and I was relaxed in the nice air conditioning and bright showroom. Aaron who greeted me at the door even got me a bottle of water. I wanted to do business here in my community . The problem came when the sales guy never bothered to mention I had insurance plan on the 6, spent no time in going over the 7 but after I agreed to a charger an expensive screen protector and case told me to watch utube to learn how to operate my phone. Later as I saw the bubbles growing instead of dissipating with the fancy protector at home and I was still unable to transfer my files from old to new and the clerk hadn't been able to decide if he would do a trade in on my 6 nor give me an amount and I was rushed out of the store at 3:3O. I started getting angry. Sometime I am slow to get ticked. The more I thought about it the more frustrated I became. Finally after a week or so of fuming I took everything back and Aaron the manager was very calm and nice while the original salesclerk never looked me in the eye and made excuses. Aaron said we will make it right. I left with screen saver replaced and a different otter case that fit my phone better. Succinct directions on how to transfer remaining file or offer to bring in early and it will be done there. He also gave price for the phone and said to bring it in when done. Very polite, very prompt and best of all appropriate actions occurred. I give Asron 5 stars and other clerk a 1 star ...he sold me a lot but made me angry and I almost left Verizon after 18 years with them . read more

I had always been really loyal to T-MOBILE but with the Pixel 2 XL being a Verizon exclusive it lead me to start looking. This was the 4tg Verizon store that I'd been to and the first one that treated me like a person. The others either ignored me just didn't have knowledge about the products that I wanted. Joe was very knowledgeable about their products and asked me questions to help me make the right decision. I didn't plan on doing anything that day but felt comfortable enough to pull the trigger and switch over. The experience was awesome and recommend everyone to go see to this location. I assisted and drove and old friend into Verizon to help with his phone. The woman named LUPE was very rude talking down to him and seemed like she didn't want to help because the apps were not Verizon. Once I spoke to her about being rude and talking down to him she changed her tone real fast. I told her the phone was Verizon and that's why he was here and she needed to help him or find someone that will. I get Verizon is better when it comes to usage and whatnot but it's not worth it with shitty customer service. read more

Usually I've gone in here and the people knew what they were doing. However today wasn't the case. I explained to the lady I got a new phone and I needed to turn in my old phone ( because they were buying it back) and they had ME take it to the post office because I got my phone at Target Verizon instead of them. I called Verizon and they're the ones who told me to go in there to turn it in. Nope.. didn't happen. Then, I was telling them I needed a 4 digit pin to erase my phone's memory. They tried to send me to the Apple Store..... which is an hour or more from Vail. Then I figured it out and told the lady. Then the lady never told the other guy. Literally it was like talking to the slowest people ever. They didn't know what they were doing. read more

I just want to say this store is one of the best I've been too. They are always at the door ready to greet you, the location isn't too busy and I feel they really aim to take care of their customer. My most recent issue with my new iPhone 7 they took the time to help solve it with me, and that really makes a difference.
