Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely on my opinion and my opinion alone!. I previously had a bad experience on line with their customer service trying to order a new iPhone along with some accessories! For some reason they couldn't get my orders right on my accessories so I decided to cancel the order.( I had my phone ordered on a separate order ) I clearly stated to the representative that I ONLY wanted to cancel the order with the accessories and she agreed to it by repeating it back to me TWICE, but yet she still ended up canceling my phone order too and I wouldn't had known until my wife suggested we call them and have them resend the order correctly and that's when the next customer service representative stated my phone order was canceled as well. I was pissed!!.. because the previous representative said she had it taken care of but obviously she had no clue what she was doing. So after being told about the previous screw up my wife and I asked to speak to a supervisor and we were put on hold for at least 20 minutes until we finally realized we were hung up on. So to try and make a long story short my customer service experience over the phone along with on line service has been a nightmare so I'm glad I was able to go into the store and get the service I needed!. read more

Went in with malfunctioning phone, was ordered replacement. My primary problem with this location, I was given conflicting info, and the staff wasn't very knowledgeable. I don't recommend going this location. For me it was a negative experience. read more

I've been meaning to upgrade my phone for a while . I came in on a Saturday afternoon with my mother . We checked in and sat in the store until we were called . We waited for 40 min+ . There was a moderate amount of customers however nobody checked on us to give a time update. read more

Bottom line I will not use the store again. I was sold a router from this store back in July. The router has always been intermittent with service but now it's completely useless. I took it into store to get a replacement and they had me call their tech-support to try to get it disconnected so they could issue a new one. This phone call was over an hour long, and I was transferred to five different departments. I was finally put in touch with someone who could help. She looked up the address that the router was sent to. (my home). And come to find out my address is not eligible for any Verizon Wi-Fi service. The employee who sold me this router knew full well that it would not work at my address, and sold it to me anyways. The solution from the store was nothing more than to disconnect my router and send me on my way. Now my home is without Wi-Fi and I am forced to try and get service from another company. It's good to know that your employees are just trying to get a commission check and don't care about their customers. Terrible terrible customer service. Completely wasted my time coming here. There were 6-7 workers sitting around but none were willing to help. Checked in and waited just for someone to tell me "you need to call tier 2 technical support, there's nothing we can do in store right now". One week ago a different worker told me, "if there are any further issues, come back and we will replace the phone". It was so frustrating to get so many conflicting answers and it felt like Verizon really doesn't value their customers. They also tried to make some excuse and are always trying to upsell you. Amazing how such a huge group of people can just sit around making excuses not to help customers and show no concern. I'm so tired of Verizon. read more

Horrible service from everyone at this store. Manager was checking people in and left her station unattended. She could not find my appointment even though I showed her the email confirmation. They were unable to complete a port over or even cancel the port. Go to T mobile instead. Customer service 100 times better and savings of over $100 a month. read more

Understaffed, typical Covid excuse to not give a F*** about anyone. Expect to wit at least an hour for a receipt after you paid 1000 for your phone. Can't call because that would take just as long, maybe longer! Verizon has been the worst experience between any carrier since 2001! read more

Bianca gave my wife and I the absolute best cell phone buying experience we have ever had. It took a little while, but she was super helpful, patient, and was able to save us over $700 using current promotions. And for those that don't know, right now for every new line, you get $200 off the price of the phone if you have Fios. To save $700 total, we started two new lines ($200 for each from Fios promotion) and my wife ported over from AT&T ($200 trade in credit with $100 bill credit after a couple months). Bianca is the one that helped us but every single employee in there was pleasant and nice to talk to. Thanks for the great service! read more

I am appalled by the terrible customer service we received at this store. My entire family and company have used Verizon's wireless service for many years. This is the first time I've ever written a negative review. Today we went to the Harborview location to help my 96-year-old father purchase a new phone, The manager greeted us nicely, checked us in but then made us wait for nearly an hour without any updates. Meanwhile, she and a few other employees, joked and laughed at the front desk. When I interrupted to ask for an update, we were told the store was shortstaffed and we had to wait. There was hardly anyone else in the store. They made us feel as if they had no respect for our time and didn't want our business. Just as we were about to leave, a sales person came to help us. She was very knowledgable, honest and helpful. I wish I could remember her name, but her shift ended before our transaction was finished. so she turned us over to the manager to check out. About 15 minutes after we finally left the store, and had driven all the way through the tunnel, my father got a got a phone call. They had forgotten to give him the charger and paperwork that came with the new phone. We had to drive back to get them. I wish I had read the reviews before coming to the store. I notice other customers have had similar problems with the customer service. Very poor reflection on Verizon. read more

Went in as soon as they opened to avoid a wait and Julisa greeted us with a warm smile. She was extremely patient and helpful. We had been with AT&T for 15+ years and there's simply no loyalty anymore and we needed to lower our bill. She explained the figures and helped get us set up. I didn't feel rushed or oversold. Julisa was wonderful. I'm glad to have her as a point of contact at this store. read more

This is one of the worst if not the worst Verizon locations I have been to. I have been with VW for over 12 years and used to work for the company so I know. There are many locations in the area. I can assure you the ONLY thing they are concerned about at this store is their commission check and they don't even try to hide that fact. All employees are paid by commission but most of them are professional and spend time with you to make sure all your needs are met prior to leaving the store. The employees at this particular store commission hunt and will use lies and unethical business practices to make a buck. Very untrustworthy and having worked for the company this is absolutely not what Verizon Wireless is about! VW is the best cellular company out there but this store does not share those same values. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time at this location. read more

I was having a data usage problem with my jet pack and a previous visit failed to solve the issue. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the product completely. Manager Erica Causby was very understanding of my frustration. She worked to determine the cause of my high data usage and when I was still not satisfied, she patiently assisted in canceling the contract with the device without penalty. She remained positive and helpful throughout the visit. While I cannot recommend the jet pack product, I do applaud Erica for her customer service. read more

Can't say I am thrilled with Verizon's internet service...however, JAMES at the HARBOR VIEW location is an ACCEPTIONAL employee. Such a nice gentleman and so very willing to do whatever he can to make my situation better. I highly recommend you wait if necessary to have James attend to your business. I cannot believe how I was talked to at this location! And then to top it off, I was lied to! I do like my Verizon Wireless service, but have never really liked having to visit a store and this one will NEVER get my business in the future! Afterwards, I visited the kiosk (also never a big fan of kiosk vendors) at BJ's Wholesale and received wonderful service. If needing to visit a Verizon Wireless store, go somewhere else! read more

Brusque, rude, dismissive...those three words capture my experience at this Verizon. I received a new iPhone as a present from my husband so I went in to set it up. It was unlocked so no problem for the setup, but the gentleman made it seem like it was a hassle. He just had to switch the card and activate it, confirm my plan, etc. He kept walking away from me for 10 minutes at a time to wait on someone else. For example, he pulled up my account said something followed by 'I need to wait on this guy for a minute...' then walked away before I responded. He did it several times with different people, all who came in after me. There were 5 employees on the floor. So, what should have taken 7 minutes, took 35. No respect for me or my time. (I squeezed in on my lunch break.) It wasn't even that busy. Then at the very end, I see my contacts didn't transfer at all...200+ contacts I would have to manually enter. He told me that wasn't something he did (i.e., he couldn't be bothered to check to see what the problem is) and handed me a receipt while looking over my head at someone else. I was very upset by my experience. My impression is there are metrics in place for each employee that has to do with total number of people served/check off certain boxes for commission and no concern for actual customer service. Very bad experience at this location. Terrible. I was shaking when I returned to my car and questioning why I had stayed with Verizon for all these years. THE effin WORST location ever! I have NEVER made a comment on Yelp or any other site. But since this location has cost me so much time chasing money, I thought I would waste more time writing this and giving feedback to customers to don't wish to waste time. Please, save yourself from this location. I moved 4 phones over from Sprint, and was promised money and phones in exchange for the business I would offer them. The Verizon range and connection is much better, however the service at this location is a JOKE!!!! I still have a phone bill from Sprint which is now in Sprint collections. Verizon said they would pay it and I haven't seen a dime. After waiting on the phone to speak with the person who told me all of the BS, i got a manager on the phone. He said he would credit my account!! WRONG, never happened. Now Verizon is sending me messages that say my bill is due when I am supposed to have a credit. With Sprint I had 1. Spotty service. With Verizon, I have better phone service; however I now have 1. my past due Sprint bill in collections. 2. Debtors calling from Sprint 3. My verizon bill not reflecting any credit promised to me by the Verizon store manage and Verizon saying my bill is due when in fact they owe me money. How do I get back to just my spotty service. I'd try not to go there, if your life depended on it. Like if this store is the only choice for you, just go off the grid and choose your life instead. Trust me. I don't even want to give it one star but there's no other choice. There are other Verizon's around and they may not be close but do what you can to stay away from this one or like I said, disconnect. It's not that bad! I haven't had a phone in days due to this store so it is possible! Also, I grew up without a cell and am still alive! In fact, the first time I got a cell phone, I was 19. My grandma thought I was a drug dealer or something. Well, she thought that when I had a pager too so. But that cell phone! It was huge! I thought I was the bomb. Hardly anyone had cell phones. So, back to the story about this store; just don't go here. Uber, Lyft, rent a car, walk, hitch hike or do whatever you can do to avoid the rude, talking-over-you type of customer service I received in this store. Also, if you don't listen to me and still go ahead and order an in store pickup, they probably won't contact you. You should contact them instead. This store 9 times out of 10 has bad customer service. You can tell that they don't really care about helping you. I was also helped and given false information, which resulted in the canceling of my iPhone 7 order. I was reassured it wouldn't. I ordered it first thing in the morning when it first came out and now I have to wait an extra 2 weeks. All because I brought a mistake of theirs to their attention about our accounts, they corrected them, and then screwed up again by messing up my order.
