I will say…read morethey have some of the better prices around however, their sales team needs a class in customer service, at least at this store. Since moving in we've had to buy a couple of major appliances. It's already stressful having to move and schedule delivery and what not. The sales team at this store as a whole just like I said needs a class in customer service. You call there and you're not met with anyone friendly it seems unless it's the girl who calls to schedule the delivery. They pick up and don't say who they are which is strange to me. I've worked customer service jobs and we've been trained to say Hi, this is (insert name). Unappealing that the sales team doesn't do this. Also, I've caught some of them lying about other sales associates not being there when they are. There are only two sales associates I would consider giving business too, Paula and Dave as they were nice and considerate when we spoke with them. Curtis the manager was okay as well and wanted to make things right. The first one we brought was a dishwasher and our sales lady Paula was great and very helpful. However, installation of it was a nightmare. The first installers who came, came before the dishwasher was even delivered and then took the kit that I paid for back with them. The second installer who came was okay but said they couldn't do it because our dishwasher wasn't next to the sink. It was but not side by side with the sink making a more difficult job. The third installer who came was a straight shooter told me it was more difficult but could be done and the second installer just didn't want to do it. I do speak to the store manager more than once regarding this and they did make things better by offering a rebate and buying a longer hose I would need. Our next appliance was a stove. Nothing too bad with that came and was installed no hassle. However, the hood we also brought was on back order and would be delivered at a different time. That came the other day and the third installer who did my dishwasher came and did the hood which I was grateful for. When I had to call and schedule the delivery of my hood to my stove the person who answered the call sounded annoyed they had to do something and then just hung up on me after scheduling my delivery.

That's where the nightmare began. We received multiple confirmations for our fridge delivery scheduled for the following week between 9 AM and 1 PM. On delivery day, we got a text saying it would arrive at 2:20 PM, but twenty minutes later, we were informed it was canceled with no explanation. After spending the weekend on the phone with Best Buy customer service, no one could clarify the situation. We had already been two weeks without a fridge and were desperate. Another week passed, and again we were excited for delivery, only to receive another cancellation text. A customer service rep called and, due to a heavy accent, all we understood was: "No fridge, you must buy a new one." My husband finally reached someone in corporate sales, and we learned the truth: the delivery company had damaged our fridge. Best Buy had stalled for TWO WEEKS instead of being honest with us. We returned to the store and spoke with Eric and Sean, the store manager, who was professional and frustrated with corporate. He called corporate for us, but all they offered was $150 for our troubles. We spent over $1,000 on a fridge that was broken before delivery, waited weeks without one, and received nothing but lies. All we wanted was the fridge we purchased. Instead, Best Buy's corporate team left us without a refrigerator, failed to communicate honestly, and offered an insulting $150 for the inconvenience we faced. The only reason I'm not giving zero stars to the Rockaway location is that Eric and Sean went above and beyond to help fix what corporate destroyed. Unfortunately, Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have lost my trust forever. I will never purchase a major appliance from them again. Update: I have never been so frustrated with a company in my life. After weeks of going back and forth with Best Buy and their incompetent delivery company, I finally gave up on the fridge I originally purchased and settled for a lesser model just to get something. We waited ANOTHER week for delivery--only for them to pull the same garbage again: cancelled 30 minutes before it was supposed to arrive. That's now FOUR Saturdays in a row they've scheduled and then canceled at the last minute. I've been over a month without a working fridge, my blood pressure is through the roof, my patience is gone, and apparently I can't even get my money back--so I'm stuck with Best Buy. This is beyond unacceptable, and I'm seriously considering legal action. Best Buy corporate and their delivery partner have zero respect for customers' time, money, or sanity.

But as I suspected the distance I drove would give the battery a false surface charge which ultimately cause the battery to test good and recharge. But thankfully the girl was reasonable enough to go ahead and replace it for me at no charge. 6 stars for them. No one wants out of state battery issues and I appreciate them getting me taken care of.

It's a little off the beaten path - by the now-closed TGI Fridays by the RR overpass off Rt 46. I needed a new battery for my old (1994) BMW and these folks had it in stock, as a courtesy checked the battery I brought in to make sure it really was past a useful life and then they took my old battery in for environmentally sound recycling. Win, Win, WIn. Price was as good - it's the distributor warehouse. Service was excellent - I can change a battery (it's not as easy or as safe as you may thing - negative off first, negative back on last or else sparks will fly!) They have what you need in stock. Also, they are open these Coronavirus quarantine days - just call them from the parking lot and they will do the transaction outside (I called to confirm). Quality batteries, good service, fair prices, high likelihood they have your EXACT battery in stock. Recommended
