They made good recommendations on cases etc and got us fixed up on a good promotion to trade in our old phones; hopefully we're good for another three years. You can call ahead and ask about ongoing promotions but make sure you double check the facts on plans and discounts, because details can be miscommunicated and plans can change. Once you switch your plan, there's no going back, and AT&T seems to always be trying to get customers to switch plans. This store seems to have steady flow of traffic but the crowds didn't seem overwhelming when we were there. They also take appointments. Parking is easy in their lot.

I wasn't sure if it was the receiver, if it always sounded that way, or if it was my ears. Then the left channel went out. My first thought was, time to get the L channel repaired and list it on eBay. So I took it to Cityview to get repaired. Tai (the owner, I think) called me back the very next day and gave me the diagnosis, repair time, and total cost, all of which seemed completely reasonable. The time frame was a few weeks, but only because he needed to order a part, otherwise it would have been finished within a week or two. After he called to inform me it was finished and ready for pick-up, I brought it home, hooked it up, tossed Dark Side of the Moon (good test lp because of the low lows, high highs, and soaring midrange crescendos) side A on the turntable, and was so shaken (literally, the walls were shaking, and figuratively) by the massive and rich sound (that only 70s receivers can deliver) filling the room that I instantly declared that I will never sell this receiver. With just a few repairs, Tai restored my machine to its glory days. Turns out the receiver was getting sick before the L channel went out, and then I realized vintage gear like this needs a periodic check-up and tune-up. Tai's rates are VERY reasonable. If you have some vintage gear in need of a simple servicing or bigger repair, Tai at Cityview is the guy! I have another vintage piece I'm already planning to take down there after work this week. I went in to this store with a family friend to help him. He asked nicely for them to fix his phone, she was very rude from the start and rolled her eyes multiple times, seriously?? She asked him if this was his phone. He had explained multiple times this was his phone and that it wasn't fixed the last time he went in to fix it. She asked for his pin and he put the pin in his phone and she huffed and puffed because she wanted the account pin. He was frustrated and confused because he is elderly and is not good with technology. She was not stop using a belittling voice and aggressive tone. He was tired of her making him feel like he was a lesser human than her and started raising his voice. He told this "Manager" he wants his money back if they are refusing to fix it. She said she will call the police. And she did. She wasted police time and resources because she sucks at her job. Whoever is above Courtney, please reach out because this behavior should not be supported and the elderly shouldn't be treated with disrespect and verbal aggression. Mind you, this interaction is all recorded by the store camera.

I wrote an email explaining the situation to Cellairis and asking for a refund for the repair which broke the phone. They called me back and said they would not replace my phone. I said that I did not ask them to replace my phone. They had not even read the whole email before calling me to tell me "no." They then, of course, said it was their policy not to offer refunds for repairs either. So now that I have paid for a repair, I will also be paying for a replacement. I would have saved myself $200 and a massive headache by never coming here.
