Today I upgraded my iphone on my Verizon business plan. This is my third visit to this particular store and I've always found the staff very helpful even when dealing with some very challenging user issues. Our phones are very personal and probably nothing in my life do I rely on so consistently minute to minute every day. Being self-employed it is even more critical. Marisela was there to help me out today, and she is fantastic. She gets to the point and is very upfront about options, costs, and preferences that would be useful to me. This small location can get very busy on my previous visits. So I went early in the am (and well before the weeks around the holidays!) and got my new phone upgraded quickly and was back in business within about an hour after the data was all transferred over. If you want to get quick results and don't need to go to a Verizon-owned store in Napa or Petaluma, I would highly recommend this place for busy people in Sonoma. read more

Only one employee working on a Sunday?! Ridiculous. Five people before me. Including an old guy who was getting his first iPad and getting a complete tutorial from the employee. All I wanted to do was pay a bill! Have been here 45 minutes and still no end in sight. read more

I have been in this store several times now. Each time there is atleast one employee sitting there with his thumb up his ass. Zero customer service unless they think you're going to spend a lot of money. I have been a Verizon customer for 10+ years and this is the only store I have experienced this. I just needed someone to help me put a glass screen protector on my new phone both purchased from Verizon. read more

I have limited bars in my Sonoma home 6' from my modem. I broke my leg and need to make calls. I've never been so disappointed in service in my life. Do something. What if an emergency. I pay the same as everyone else. Add towers or something read more

Marisela AlCala was the best! She was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you so much! read more

Expecting a bit of a hassle that has come in the past with purchasing a new phone, I was welcomed by Roberto, who told me due to COVID-19 only a certain amount of people were allowed in the store at one time and only by appointment. I felt better immediately! Roberto is/was a total professional, loving, patient, thorough and personable. Every want and need was completely attended to and I departed the store with a new phone, new phone case and glass covering, and so happy. It's a pleasure to do business with a person whom understands the value of serving the customer and delivers quality professionalism with love. read more

Let's just say Marisela is awesome at customer service! I switched from a Samsung to an iPhone which in my old brain was causing so much frustration..,but she made it happen with care and patience! Day 1 we had a download hiccup so had to return for Day 2 trials and tribulations. Having an unbearable time with Comcast email, she kept moving forward with finding help until they finally came up with a resolution. I didn't get his name but he showed up and figured out a shortcut to solve the day long problem. While there on my many visits I watched Marisela dealing w different customers, she's thorough, multi tasks very well, and always stayed patient even with their impatient customers. She really took her time w me, showed me how to use the phone and text me to check in. I'm part of the dinosaur tech world so her guidance was much appreciated. Thank you Marisela for making this old mule feel comfortable with an uncomfortable transition. read more

What a fantastic experience! Not all Verizon stores are equal! Marisela is the best ever. She absolutely knows what she is doing. My friend told me to try this specific store and what great advice. I have been having all kinds of problems with my iPhone 15 and Marisela knew exactly what to ask about the issues and how to fix them! Highly recommend! 10 STARS! read more

Went in today for a troubleshooting problem. The clerk solved the problem quickly and was very nice and professional! Thank you!!!!

Do not shop here. 30 minutes after a phone upgrade our financial accounts were compromised. The clerk plugged the old phone in for a data transfer which you don't do anymore and shortly thereafter we were phished by a fake coin base scammer who had all of our personal info. This company should be investigated and who ever is running this scam at the store should be in. I went in to ask to speak to the owner or manager and was iced. DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR PHONES DATA AND TRY TO ROB YOU. Looking into Victra the company behind them you will see the number of ethical issues this company has had. read more

Marisela was lovely, she offered extremely pleasant and quick service; I was in and out the door in under three minutes with my SIM card changed and no charge! read more

I came here to spend a few hundred dollars in accessories but the place is small and has limited supply and the guy behind the counter was curt and despondent , also told me I had to leave my dog outside so they are not pet friendly lol I vote to spend my money somewhere else! read more

So ... we all know how painful it is to get a new phone, but not today. I walked into the Sonoma Verizon store on West Napa Street and not only did I not have to wait, Ramses was quick to help solve all my issues. He went out of his way to explain my options, find a phone in stock so I wouldn't have to return and set about charging and transferring my data in a courteous, respectful and kind manner. Gave it and me his complete attention and his sidekick Marisela not only helped explain but was super friendly and fun. Fun at the Verizon store ... seriously? Yep. Whoever hired them knew what they were doing. They certainly do! read more

This is my first ever review on Yelp. I had such wonderful service today from the young man working as compared to his coworker, a young lady who sold me my phone last week and gave me horrible service on 3 separate occasions. The young man was kind, patient, helpful and got the job done well. I watched him sell another older gentleman a phone and show him how to USE the phone! So nice. When I bought my phone from young lady, she was as unhelpful as possible, except for collecting the money and reading her sales script. She was condescending, curt, unfriendly and obnoxious. I watched her today make things as difficult as possible for older folks, while being friendly, helpful and giggly with younger men and women. Give the guy a big raise and fire the gal or send her to sensitivity training. read more

I just bought a new phone at the Sonoma Verizon store. I bought my last phone there as well. Pedro and Marisela were so helpful. They helped me know what I needed. Explained things, answered my plethora of questions and did not try to sell a higher end phone or other things I did not need. They transferred everything to my new phone and made sure my new phone was connected to my watch, which I did not buy from them. They were both great. I feel confident if I have any issues they will happily help me in the future. read more

Aidan Help me very efficiently and quickly to do what I want him to do and was very nice to me she did a great job with me and I upgraded my phone with her unfortunately I witnessed her disrespect older Hispanic man who didn't know how to speak English perfectly they tried to talk to her to understand how the process of checking into the store was and she was very rude about how she talk to them and very unprofessional in Sonoma there are many Spanish speakers and if you don't have a Spanish-speaking Customer service employees then you should have a kind English-speaking considerate employees that will not tell a 80-year-old Hispanic man to please exit the building without explaining why or without being respectful about it there is ways of doing things and there's ways of not doing things and I witnessed her be treat them at in a way where they felt as if she didn't want to help them and I don't understand how she was so great with me then she turned and her these old innocent man that were just trying to pay their bill I helped out those two men while she transferred my information on my phone and I just hope that this place could have a little bit more of compassion and respect for elderly in this community to explain how Covid and how to check in because many older people don't know how to do that they barely know how to use phones and us younger people can't just say go do that we have to go and help them and show them how to do it and she Did not so I help them out because I am Spanish- speaking And I felt really bad about how they felt about the way they she talked to them Both of these men told me that she has been unhelpful and very rude in past times and I saw a little bit of that today although she was great with me it's unfortunate that people treat other people differently and you should employ people that treat everybody the same read more

I showed up for a scheduled appointment and the store only had one worker. Ok, Covid, I get it - but he did not greet or acknowledge me. Once I was finally "served", he seemed fairly uninformed, wasn't particularly helpful and the entire experience was poor. I've decided not to switch to Verizon based on this visit. If you simply must use that carrier (which is not great in Sonoma), I suggest you go to a true Verizon store. read more

Incredibly rude staff. Not willing, or maybe able, to help customers- even with simple questions. On top of this the staffer was belittling. That wasn't the case when they signed us up and took our money a month earlier. They were very happy to do this. Upon calling Verizon, it turns out that this is something like an "affiliated" store and does not provide the level service that an actual Verizon store provides. Buyer beware. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Worst customer service I've ever gotten for a phone. Was told a promotion and sent home only to find out I was given the wrong phone for the promotion and Verizon wasn't going to honor the half off a second phone promo it had. The manager here was so rude to me over the phone blaming me and when I explained the agent that helped gave us this phone for the promotion he hung up on me. I complained to Verizon and Verizon supervisor called the manager at the store and then told me he was rude to them about it as well. Will never go here again and told friends to drive out of Sonoma for Verizon service. read more

Very unprofessional, not willing to help with a small issue, just interested in selling a phone. Managerment needs to provide staff with some customer service training. Word of mouth goes a long way. read more

I went in with my new phone to get it activated. I was greeted nicely and asked where I got my phone and how much did I spend on it. Not sure why that matters. I was told I have a 700 credit to use.ummmm I already have a new phone purchased from Samsung directly. This was repeated to me several times as he started to activate my phone. He stopped and asked me if I purchased my phone in the U.S.! I tell him, Yes, I bought it from Samsung why.... He tells me, well this phone is no good and can not be activated. I explained that I called Verizon and they said I just need to put a SIM card in it. He said I can sell you one but it won't do you any good since your phone is not compatible with any good carriers. I left upset and confused... I drove to the Verizon store in Petaluma and my phone was activated in less than 5 minutes and they had plenty of accessories to choose from. What the heck is up with that horrible Verizon store? Horrible service... I like to support local stores but this one needs to go! read more

Love this store, the manager Walter, is extremely knowledgeable and a self admitted computer geek. And he really does know what he's doing. He reviewed our contract and saved us money on our monthly bill. Then showed me options on phones because I did not want to spend the high price on the new iphone. I was never rushed and Walter explained everything clearly and concisely to this non geek and tailored my phone purchase to how I use it. I am very happy with the Galaxy phone I bought. read more

Lousy customer service. Went to the store to upgrade from a prepaid basic phone to a prepaid smartphone. They did not have the particular phone I was interested in, but said they would order one and receive it in three days. A few days later, called the store and they said it was never ordered! They then advised it would be best if I ordered the phone online, and once received, bring it in to their store and they would help set it up properly. Received the phone and brought it back to this store as suggested. They then said they could not set it up, would have to bring it to a "big box" store. Figured since they sold Verizon phones, asked if they could not call customer service and help set it up? The store employee kept insisting he could not, it had to be done at a big box store. Got the phone home, called Verizon, and they were able to help port over the existing number and it works just fine. Lazy incompetent service, would never shop here again. read more

Tried to buy a phone today, but failed, due to a disrespectful, Roberto, who told me to go to another store. I will do that on Saturday.

We came into the store today to set up a new line and buy a new phone. They have zero customer service and are rude and indignant to customers. Their attitude is not only uncalled for it is outrageous! We are goi g to the Napa store now and suggest you do too! read more

Rude! Walter "the manager" was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I went to the local Sonoma store to buy a new iPhone and upgrade my iPad. I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years! I asked the differences in the iphone 11 series - and Walter behavior was impatient, unprofessional and irritable. I was so uncomfortable with his rude attitude that I left and went straight to AT&T. AT&T was kind and helpful. As a professional in the customer service industry - I would fire an employee who treated people in this way. Unacceptable. read more

Very disappointed in the Verizon store in Sonoma! When in to get my screen protector put on and they refused to help me because I purchased the protector at a different Verizon store! I won't be going back to Sonoma Verizon ever! read more

They really need a "0" star option on this app. My experience at this store was terrible. I would not recommend this store, or its employee named Eric. He and his manager Roberto should be ashamed of their lack of service and carefree attitude about leaving clients hanging. Verizon should truly reconsider their contract with Victra. read more

Terrible service! I spent almost 3 hrs there just to switch over from ATT. The store manager was an incredible bungler! He had to call Verizon at least 5 times just to set up the phone! Arrrrrgh!! Got home and couldn't connect thru WiFi as I had clearly stated I needed to do. I'd sooner go to an Ebola isolation ward before returning to Victra in Sonoma. read more

Waning, don't go here. They will charge you extra and hidden extra charges. $60 to activate a phone vs $20 online. Long waits and unprofessional, watching sports or tv at work. read more

Been going to the Sonoma Store for over a decade and the service just gets worse. I called ahead to ask about android types and I was told they had a lot to choose from. I walked down there and they insisted I grant access to my account. I did. I asked again what type of androids they had. He said he wouldn't tell me unless I granted access. After my third shot at granting access I wanted simply to know what phones were available and he refused to tell me. I left. That was not phone shopping, that was being bullied. I walked back to my office. I have purchased 8 top of the line smartphones at that location for my family and me. I will now need to go out of town to get a phone, I will not use Victra in any town ever again. We are not friends. My last experience there was similar but thought I would see if it was just a bad day. No. read more

The Manager of the Store, KEVIN SMITH told me today to LEAVE THE STORE after I requested his assistance with my cell phone. Here is the dialogue: Me: Could you help me get rid of the password option on my cell phone? Him: So, where do you think the p/w option is in your phone? Me: I have no idea. I'm not much for guessing now. I am brain fried after translating for hours so I appreciate if you can do it. Him: I want to teach you NOW how to do it Me: Again, I'm not for learning this now, and I am the customer... Him: Just leave now Me: What did you just say? Him: Leave the store... How about this for 'excellent customer service'?? This store is a discredit to the Verizon brand and a disgrace for the standards of doing business in Sonoma!! read more

Unbelievable - today I just called the Victra headquarters customer service phone number posted in response to my review. I received just as RUDE customer service from them. I had to ask why they even bothered to give me a number to call if they were going to just speak over me and refer to their "policies" in a completely uncaring, unhelpful manner. I will NEVER do business with a Victra store again. And probably purchase my next phone through AT&T. read more

I'm very happy with my new Galaxy phone! The sales associate that helped me was Walter, he was VERY knowledgeable about all the products and features, and was able to answer all of my heavy tech questions before I purchased. They always have the best advice for the right phone, transferring all your stuff, and bill questions. When the iPhone 6 came out I kept calling to see if they had them and everyone I spoke to was always friendly. When they finally had some in stock the process of switching over from my old phone was painless and took just a few minutes. Nice guys and good service! read more

I received rude customer service from an employee who smelled of weed and looked high. I was treated as if I was annoying him by asking questions about the product. I needed to upgrade my phone and was made to feel as if my questions about the product were stupid. The other employee was very respectful and business like, but was already working with another customer. He was helping to answer questions I had when the other guy was too lazy to. The employee working with me went to the back to look for a specific phone and when he opened the back room door, the smell of weed drifted out. I recommend the manager to retrain their employees on customer service and/or drug test. I'm sure it will clear out the lazy and rude employees. read more
