Always go there for my watch batteries, very helpful and friendly!! And they change out the batteries in the watches too!! Definitely would recommend checking them out! read more

EXCESSIVELY OVER PRICED!!!... Read and decide for yourself. I wanted to support this small local store but sorry, won't be back here again. I bought two Duracell 9 volt and two Duracell 3 volt (CR2032) batteries, total with tax was $28.64. After leaving the store I began to think that was a lot so I walked to the CVS around the corner and priced the exact same batteries... total with tax $20.15. Humm... I finished my errands at Target and again priced the same batteries... total with tax $14.53. Sorry, I can't reasonably support this business and pay double for what I can get for half the price at another local store. read more

It was Mother's Day, and we found ourselves with unexpected car battery trouble. Thankfully, Dylan and Liam came to the rescue! They were incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful--going above and beyond when no one else could assist us. In a moment of real need, they truly saved our day. Their professionalism and positive attitude were impressive, especially for such young men. I've honestly never experienced that level of service delivered with such genuine care and a smile. Coming from SoCal, the vibe here felt completely different--in the best way. Dylan and Liam showed outstanding work ethic and kindness. We are so grateful for them both! read more

YAY ! Batteries Plus is back open - was disappointed they close a little while ago but heard they were back open with the same staff - anyway went there again for some special batteries (which they had of course) - Joey, the representative, was very fast in helping out - met Daniel, the manager, who was very appreciative for a returning customer - instead of ordering on Amazon go to their store and help them out and get great service at the same time / read more

They have everything you'd need and will even help install the battery if you have the item with you (e.g. car key).

Great service at a fair price. I took my granddaughters iPhone in for a battery replacement. We we had it back in 40 minutes. Very courteous customer service! I recommend them. read more

Avoid this place. I brought in my iPad to have a cracked screen replaced. The employee asked me to come back in 24-hours. I returned 26 hours later and another employee went to check on the work. She returned to tell me that the repair would take another 48 hours without explanation. At that point, I asked if the work had even started. Sheepishly, she admitted as much. I asked for my device back and took it to a more reputable place for the repairs. read more

Exceptional customer service and fair pricing! I recently upgraded my phone. My old phone had a small crack in the camera lense that really brought down that trade in value. AT&T recommended that I get a repair at the shop down the road from Batteries Plus. That shop did not answer their phones, left me waiting at the shop, and quoted an outrageous price for the repair and also said that they would have to order the part!...this is a shop that supposedly does many of these types of repairs. A 3-second google search brought up Batteries Plus. They picked up the phone when I called and said they could fix the issue. The price was a fraction of what the other store quoted. Batteries Plus was efficient and effective. I had a follow up issue, which the store personnel also quickly addressed. Whether you need phone screen replacements, car key fob duplication, batteries, or anything else that this store carries, Batteries Plus in Petalum comes with my highest recommendation. read more

Great service. Scott is always helpful, friendly, knowledgeable etc. I have two batteries in my 4runner with one running the fridge in back. Although it's easy to install, and included when you buy battery, it's in an awkward position, so takes a bit more time. Anyhow, everything done without hesitation, we found the correct battery to fit etc. I'll always come here when I need batteries for my truck. read more

Extremely disappointed in this place. Bought a lemon of a car battery from them and they failed to honor their 3 year guarantee. I'll never buy anything from them again and I'll tell everybody I know to avoid them like the greedy thieving plague that they are. Notice in the picture the date code of the battery 5/20 (May 2020) it's not even May 2022 yet, the battery failed and could not be charged or jumpstarted. Bought a new battery, put it in the car and it fired up immediately. Don't go here. Literally go anywhere else. Autozone, O'Reily's, Home Depot, Lowes, Freidman's, order it on Amazon, etc. read more

Been looking to get a blank key fob programmed and cut, for a 2020 Toyota Corolla, First visit in October 2020, worked with Ken, & since then I have been talking with Julie and Cole, and they were super nice each and every time! Due to scheduling and a miscommunication, leads us to our 4th visit, prior to this, I spoke to Julie, and said that we need to find some type of conclusion to this transaction, and if possible if we could kindly receive a refund and she completely agreed and apologized, and I thanked her for her understanding and time. Our last visit, we finally settled with Ken, that the key was not able to be cut, or programmed, and he gave us several options, to have it be from their own keys and have it sent out, at this point though we wanted to take a break for now, and possibly come back at another time. Thank you Ken, Julie, and Cole for your honest effort. P.S. On our way to breakfast, an attempt to unlock the car with said blank key fob, and it actually worked! Now all we need is to get the key cut and we are ready to go! :) read more

Recently I purchased a iPhone case and screen protector from Batteries Plus in Petaluma . Well tonight I was driving down north McDowell and rolled my window all the way down took a right onto Washington and my phone was on my dash rolled out of my window and onto the road . I pulled over got my phone ( wasn't easy ) and low and behold my phone didn't have a scratch on it and the screen protector is awesome. I have bought several of the little Torchy flashlights from the Fairfield store, close down on N. Texas St. I went to the Vacaville store off of Monte Vista and the lady there was not very pleasant and said she could even get a replacement battery because there was issues with the battery. I know the Petaluma store at one time was connected to the Fairfield store that closed, so when I call and talk to Julie on the phone who has a total sweetheart and extremely helpful. So when I explained the situation to her, which is very apologetic for the actions of the Vacaville store and she actually resent me a flashlight, which is above beyond what she should've even done. So if you want great customer service and which seems to be great people that care about their customers this is the store to shop at Julie. Thanks again and as a business owner myself it is much appreciated. If I could give a 10 star, I would do it. Randy read more

I went in today with my cellphone to buya battery. I had my business phone with me and asked them to check for any other problems and let me know if there might be something else wrong with it. I went back an hour and a half later to find that the charging port wasn't working and that they had installed the battery without calling me. So my phone doesn't charge and they want another $87.99 for a wireless charger. BAD BUSINESS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. read more

Went to this location to replace my car battery and was helped by Ken the owner, Ian an experienced handyman, and Tory the newest member of their staff. Ian removed the old battery and installed the new one at no additional cost making sure to spray a corrosion preventative on the new battery's contacts. The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend this business to anyone seeking expert service. read more

I came in here to get my watch battery replaced. The lady was very friendly. I asked how much it was and she said $13. I said for the battery or the labor. She said for everything. This is a very good price. I've had watch batteries replaced in the past and they charge you for the labor and the battery. I asked her if I should come back later and pick it up. She said it would be ready in about seven minutes and it was. Good service. They have every type of battery that you could possibly think of. I only came there for a watch battery but, if I ever need any other type of battery I would go back there. read more

I've heard great things about Batteries Plus Bulbs and I now know why. I called and got the most cheerful greeting and customer service from Marcy! I explained to her my current situation, which was being stuck with a dead battery and waiting on AAA roadside to come give me a jump. Marcy said "What's your location? I can have someone come and replace and install your new battery". Within minutes Eric came. He has an amazing smile and was very warm. It took Eric all of 3 minutes to take out the old battery, put in the new one, and have me on my way. I can't tell you how bad customer service is waning in today's culture. It is so nice to have a company with employees who care about providing excellent service! Thank you Batteries Plus Bulbs! And Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Marcy and Eric.. read more

Needed a new battery for my minivan, I needed it to get done in a hurry... I wasn't aware that these guys dealt with car batteries, not to mention I truly didn't expect them to also install it! But, I was wrong about both of my assumptions and was very happy to be proven incorrect. Four it was the best car parts buying experience I've ever had in relation to my vehicle! The price was fair, even more so with buying online discount... The battery was ready the next day, and they were ready for me when I arrived and had my new battery installed in my minivan in less than 15 minutes. Again, I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a new battery for their vehicle, or from the looks of their store, a battery for any type of device. Did I mention that they installed the well priced battery for free? They beat the Honda store by over 50% on price, and that was only for the battery itself! The dealership would have charged me to install that as well!! read more

On DECEMBER 28th I went in the PETALUMA store to get a spare key for my Honda Accord. As I was reviewing my receipt I noticed an additional charges. He told me that there was an additional programming fee that was $49.99. I handed him my key and he said he needed to order it. It should arrive in 4-5 days. On JANUARY 15th I went back to the store to check the status of my order. He said someone will call you when it arrives. I told him I ordered it almost 3 weeks ago. I asked for a refund. Poor customer service. I should have known. I watched another customer complaining about a refund too. I support small business but can't recommend this store. read more

Had the screen to my iPhone repaired here. The guy who helped me was pretty rude and could not understand my hesitation to provide him with my iPhone passcode. When I asked him why he needed my passcode to repair a screen, he shortly replies "testing," as if that answer should be sufficient. His unsympathetic response to my hesitation was, "it's not like we're going to go through your phone." People keep A LOT of personal and financial information on their phones these days, it should not come as a shock that someone might be hesitant to just hand this info over. There are many better ways this could have been handled - a waiver, have the customer enter the passcode themselves, or at least a heads-up about this procedure when the appointment is made. read more

My small flashlight stopped working and so I stopped by Batteries Plus Bulbs to see if they could fix it. I use this small high beam light to do volunteer bird research for the wetlands of our park areas. Tara and Marci were so kind to look it over and inspect it for me. I had a bad battery a while back and must not have cleaned it as well as I thought, and my batteries appeared OK on my home battery tester. So they cleaned it out much better than I had and tried new fresh batteries. That did the trick. It worked like new again. These two ladies were so patient to try to get it working again, and I am soooo grateful! Now I can inspect the bird houses better on a foggy day and keep the baby birds happy and healthy. Thank you, so much, Tara and Marci! You ladies ROCK !! read more

10/10 I am really happy with my experience and the way they handled my phone issue. I have an iPhone XR that is still in pretty good condition it just had a broken screen. Got the screen fixed here. When I got it back something caught my attention, unlocking the phone I got a notification saying that my Face ID was disabled. I brought it to their attention and the people that fixed my phone worked on it a bit more. Assured me they will do everything they can to help. They kept their word and fixed all my iPhone issues for a good price. Because of the convenience, customer service, good wait time, and for making sure I left their shop with my phone in excellent condition. I will be back if the need ever comes again. read more

ASK ABOUT THE COST BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM INSTALL BATTERIES!!!! This will be the last place I shop in the future; wanted to support local business, but with the bad attitude I received here, online shopping is a much more fulfilling experience. Had a car FOB battery replacement. Young woman took the FOB behind the partition, had a problem opening the case, older woman went back to assist. When my FOB returned, there was a deep scratch across the back of the case. I mentioned it to the younger girl, as the older one was checking in the chandelier light bulbs. I know the scratch was not there; the older woman said " could not have done that because the case doesn't open from that area," before the younger one could even respond to my concern. Customer is always wrong, store is never at fault, and I could care less about your concern...is the way this store is going. This store will fail in 5 years, with her bad attitude and dismissive taunt. read more

When in to buy a battery replacement for my car key battery, they then offered to replace the battery for me for a extra payment . I was hesitant and man do I wish I went with my gut . They said it would be a few mins so I walked around the store on call , then when I got back home I found out that they broke the key back (forced it open to replace the key battery ), then a few months later the key battery died already . Definitely do not recommend this place unless you want to pay to get your equipment broken. Then went in to get a whole new key, because the one they broke , and then the key wasn't even programmed to my car so it didn't work , so now I need to make a new appointment with them and wait another 3 days for that appointment . read more

The battery in my Ford Escape kept dying so I decided to have the battery tested to make sure that it was indeed the battery. I originally went to autozone and while I typically have good service there, I was told that they couldn't install the battery because of the placement of the battery mount in the engine compartment - plus the battery was $179...I called batteries plus and spoke with Jeff, I explained the situation and he promptly said that he would be able to give be it a try (the battery is in a seriously inconvenient spot). Plus the battery was only $111...I told him that I was on my way He provided amazing customer service, he didn't seem deterred at all with the task. Both ken and Jeff went above and beyond. Sadly I don't remember the woman's name that rang me out for the battery, but she was extremely friendly as well. Excellent customer service! read more

I took my iphonexr in to have the screen replaced. They had replaced a screen on an older phone for me without an issue. However, this time, after the screen was replaced, my phone was glitchy (no FaceID and then some). They put another screen on and same deal. They determined that whoever did the initial replacement had messed up the phone's ability to do FaceID and ordered me a replacement phone. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and the manager was apologetic. The replacement phone did not have an Apple battery. Perhaps just a coincidence, but the touch screen became glitchy (as in non-responsive requiring many force restarts) as in non operable. 3 stars for the great employee service. Don't take your phone here though! read more

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Batteries Plus In Petaluma. The batteries we purchased, had to be looked at, as there seemed to be a problem with the charge. Ken, the owner, took care of us promptly and in a courteous and professional manner. After checking out the batteries, it appeared that everything was in good working order. Ken wanted to ensure our complete satisfaction with this purchase. My first encounter with this business was by phone. I know that Ken runs his store with the utmost focus on customer service. I don't doubt that he sets high standards for his employees to meet. The associates on the phone were as polite and helpful as they were in the store itself. The store is clean and well stocked. We felt our business was appreciated. We are going to need batteries for our boat and will definitely be back for that purchase. I will be sure to let our friends and family know of our experience and to support this local business. read more
