Matthew was extremely helpful and patient with my husband insuring we got the correct battery and also testing the battery in our garage opener. Great customer service! read more

I,personally, experienced service that easily exceeded what most would call 'good service'. I was involved an impressive exchange between three other people and myself who provided a service that exceeds my vocabulary to describe. Julie, Marcie and Tara, a super trio of heroes in my book, could not have done any better. I was treated as though my whole satisfaction was their sincere and utmost concern. And, a extra special thanks again to Tara. I would return read more

I had been driving all over town to find a missing chord for my TV with no luck. I showed Tara and Melissa a picture of where it plugged in. The store didn't stock this item but Tara had recently been to a flea market and had picked up the exact chord I needed. Life saver!! Wonderful service! read more

I had the best time today with Tara and Julia. They replaced a bulb and three batteries neatly, quickly and professionally; we laughed and joked and traded life stories and recipes and I thought about moving in. I'm sure they wouldn't mind. I could make a nest in the back, open and close the door, greet customers, make Starbucks runs. Maybe in time they'd teach me how to replace my own batteries--though it wouldn't be half as much fun. read more

Excellent customer service! Very knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond! Tanner was amazingly helpful!!

The customer service here is awesome. Barbara and the rest of the team at this store really go out of their way to take care of customers. It is rare that I am moved to write reviews, but this 5 star review is well deserved! I strongly recommend this business. read more

I bought in a non-working golf cart battery charger to this shop today. The person that helped me was a lady by name of Tara. She was extremely knowledgeable about troubleshooting, and very generous with her attempts to repair the device. It turned out that the device had a burned out motherboard and cannot be reasonable repaired. I will need a replacement. Ken is the owner of the shop and was also very personable. The atmosphere in the store was that of good service , and not just to fleece you of your dollar. I highly recommend Tara to troubleshoot for you; and I appreciate her service and interpersonal skills. read more

My Samsung phone battery life was getting too short, so I took phone into Batteries + Bulbs in Petaluma (#905). They replaced the battery at a great price. Over the next week it was obvious the original problem remained. Went back, they did some more in-depth troubleshooting and showed me the charging circuit in the phone was flakey. They took back the new battery, put the old one back in and gave me a full refund without me even asking. The troubleshooting time was on them. I am not used to seeing this super wonderful level of customer service. Marcy et al showed they really care about their customers; they set the example for other businesses to follow. I will be back for my next car battery (they have special kind with no liquid) and any other needs they can serve. JT read more

Had an issue with an automotive battery that had been acting up for over 8 months, that I originally bought from the Santa Rosa store. I took it in to the Petaluma store (much closer to me) where they tested it on some rather sophisticated equipment (it failed as expected.) Corporate guidelines required additional testing (had to leave the battery overnight), which yielded inconclusive results, which in turn caused corporate to drag their feet on a warranty replacement. Julie, Marcy and the crew went to bat for me in a big way and got me properly taken care of and back on the road. Throughout the process I was treated in a friendly and respectful manner. First class service to be found here, without a doubt. read more

The employees went way overboard for me!! Tara was so helpful and really got involved with my new battery for my Lincoln MKS. Don't go anywhere else!! read more

Tara and all the employees there were so helpful! She gave me a lot of knowledge and shared her personal experiences with living off the grid because I am currently living the van life! So having power and the right batteries are very important. She also fully charged my auxillery battery which only took 1 day to do. That was the solution I needed so it led me to buying a battery charger, not from her though. So she wasn't trying to sell me or anything because I didn't even spend any money there! If I didn't have her share that information I wouldn't have known or found what I needed! Great job guys I really appreciate it! :) read more

Our church did a "volunteer" clean up and maint day. We had to rent a lift to change some hard to reach bulbs. We were not sure what kind of bulbs they were until we pulled them out. Of course none of the local hardware stores had enough of these bulbs. But- to the rescue. B.P.B. Had some on hand and said they could get the rest from another store "TODAY." This saved us more rental time on the lift and having to come back another day. Superior Customer Service and super good quality bulbs that will last a long time. I will always go here first for bulbs and batteries and they have all kinds of other cool stuff (flashlights etc.). read more

Very helpful and friendly service. The place to go for all bulb replacement and batteries. Get location, easy access parking.

I recently needed to replace a watch battery for an electronic watch with several complicated functions. Thank you Batteries Plus. I pulled my shoulder out removing my dead battery from my car. At the store they checked on the battery, charged it and found it was in great condition. Then I asked if someone could help and Tara offered to install the battery for me at my home. Great service! Thank you Marcie for your advice. You two made my day and saved my shoulder from any further pain. read more

I am writing this review in the parking lot because I'm so impressed I could not wait to get home and write it on my computer. One would think that this store is a big chain but it's owned by the cutest couple who were so sweet and helpful. They tested my truck battery and had three different choices of replacements all with warranties at a great cost. I would never think to come here for a car battery but when I googled them they had a high review average. These days it's rare to get this great of service! What a great addition to Petaluma! read more

I stopped in to check on a battery for my Dogs Collar. The 2 ladies at the register were amazing. Found the battery at another location, gave me great directions and had the Santa Rosa store Hold for me. In the day of poor customer service these ladies were amazing. read more

After my daughters phone kept dying at 30% we found out she needed a battery. I looked online to see who can do them around us & discover that these guys can do it. If you book it ahead of time on line, you get 1/2 off the battery, only costing $35 + tax. On our way there, I dropped my phone. Totally cracked the screen. I went on line to see if they do it! Sure do, $69.99 with a $10 off if scheduled online. So I booked both of us an appointment & within a total of 3 hours we were both back in business. They were very nice to work with & our phones were ready when we were told they would be. Will definitely be back if any other issues come up. read more

My Prius Kept needing to be jump started . I had aaa come out three times, I even went to the local car mechanic specializing in hybrids and none of them were able to tell me definitively that the battery needed to be replaced. Batteries and bulbs confidently diagnosed the problem and replaced the battery for over $100 less than the local car mechanic quoted me. I even ha w a four year warranted on the battery. Batteries and Bulbs replaces I phone batteries!! who knew. I found out and took my iphone 5s in to replace the battery, it was completed in an efficient manner, at a cost that makes sense. I have only been in the store twice and both times I received excellent customer service. Tonight was certainly no exception, Jeff promptly changed the batteries on two of my watches while Tara rang me up and thoroughly explained the options they had to offer. They both had excellent customer service and went above and beyond to make my shopping experience exceed my expectations. I would highly recommend shopping here because of the wonderful service they provide. Whether it is getting a battery changed on your watch, phone etc or a screen repair for your mobile phone, basically anything that they do, they do it well. As a business owner myself, I would be honored to have employees like Tara and Jeff. Thank you! read more

This is a great store performing great services. They have a large selection of batteries, including rare and unusual ones. But what stands out is the special help that employee,Tara did. She went above and beyond her call of duty in replacing and installing a hard-to-get battery for my older model electric shaver.. it was greatly appreciated.. read more

I have found this little store to be a new treasure in east Petaluma. They have excellent inventory at very competitive prices and the staff are very helpful. Tara, in particular, has helped me on several occasions over the past year and her technical knowledge, patience, and customer service ethic have impressed me every time. She knows how to figure things out and come up with the answers and products to fix them. I like it when I need to come into this store. read more

I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs today for some obscure battery that no other store could help me with--it was for an outdoor solar lantern that I hang in my tree. As it turned out, it was not a user friendly lamp--difficult to access and it was an odd battery. Tara took it upon herself to take the apparatus apart--no easy task, find the appropriate battery and replace it. It took a while so I left to shop and came back about 40 minutes later. When I did, she handed me the lantern, all fixed and said there would be no charge since she had to use a battery from an opened package. She really went beyond the call of duty--especially in these times! I was impressed and will definitely be sure I get all my battery needs taken care of here. read more

Great Job! Thanks! - New screen on the iPhone works perfectly - Quicker then promised. Better price than competition.

Great customer service! My husband has MS and depends on his scooter to get around. In January he needed new batteries and bought two from this store. About two weeks ago, the batteries started failing almost stranding him a couple blocks from home. After speaking with the scooter manufacturer, he learned he needed a different, much more expensive type of battery. He went back to the store and spoke with the rep there who agreed that the batteries he purchased back in January weren't the right ones for a scooter. They called around and found the batteries he needed at their south bay store and had them delivered next day. And, they completely refunded his original purchase to credit toward the new batteries. They obviously didn't have to do this, but the fact that they were so responsive, more than made up for the original problem. We'll continue to rely on these folks for our battery and bulb needs. Highly recommend. read more
