Do not get involved with there prepaid service. If you change carriers Verizon will keep any money left on the account and will not refund it I am very curious how much money Verizon steals monthly from people that change carriers. How there theft works is, say you pre pay $120 on your pay in advance account and your monthly bill is $60. You change carriers and there is $60 still pre paid on your account. They do not refund the $60 back to the original payment method, they keep it. Verizon acts so unaware this is happening. read more

I don't think I've ever felt so supported and looked after by a Verizon employee in my 21 years of being with this company. She truly has the best interest of clients at heart, and uses her deep knowledge of technology and Verizon's available programs to find the best fit for each individual. Her personality is vibrant and warm, and it is no wonder why she commonly finds new friends through her service at this location. If I could give 10 stars in this review, I would. The Verizon store at Tacoma Mall transferred all my apps to a new iphone. After 2 days nothing was working. Took my phone to the Shelton office. I went in today to look at upgrading my phone to the new Samsung Z fold 2. A very pricey upgrade, but one I wanted to make as I haven't had a new phone in about 5 years. After several attempts to upgrade me to this specific phone the system wouldn't let Matt, my salesman get in to do it. He then assisted me in purchasing it through my old phone which worked fine. He knew he wouldn't earn commission on a nearly 2000 dollar phone, yet spent a good deal of time helping me anyways. The salespeople at this store are fantastic and were a great help! Another bad experience at this store. The workers continue to be rude and don't give a damn about customers. People are waiting without being given any kind of estimate of how long it will be until they are helped. I noticed several elderly people standing. They also have no control over teenagers who were eating and drinking and leaving trash all over the place. What a disaster. read more

Other than the expensive cost of doing wireless, this store offers great service. It's a small store, but when a lined formed two staff appeared from the back room. Andy readily greeted everyone who entered the store while helping us with our purchase. He was so patient and understanding with us as we are "technically" challenged. this by far is one of the worst places that I have ever gone for any kind of cell service. I walked in and we were told that they would be right with us. not another customer in the store and my father and I sat for almost an hour because "Bethany had training to do on the computer". when we got up to leave here came Bethany from around the counter. she proceeded to feed my father a bunch of crap that he believed. when I told him that what she was saying wasn't right (I have real Verizon service) she proceeded to tell me that she was the one that worked for them and not me. After getting my father set up with everything I asked about early disconnect fees and she again advised me once again that "i work for Verizon not you. I think I know what I'm talking about." this is a store that I would stay far away from if you are looking for cell service. if you want to be treated like crap and talked to the same way def go there. if you want people that will lie to you just to get the commission please be my guest. worst service ever and when you do approach them at the counter be prepared for the long exhausted sigh like you've been there all day. read more

I walked into Verizon to get a prepaid SIM card for an old phone I had, my credit sucks so I've been prepaid for a while. Last time I tried to open an account with Verizon, they wanted a $400 deposit, per line!! That did not include the phone or anything, literally just a deposit so I said hell no! This time though, Brittney asked if I wanted to just see what comes up so we went for it. Sure enough I was approved for 7 lines with no deposits!!! She was excited for me and understood I didn't plan on getting a new phone so she gave me all the time I needed to decide, gave me her honest opinions and got me all set up! Johanna and Joe also helped me pick which phone I wanted and told me about HUM! They gave me a tablet for a penny and suggested the IPad! Never were they pushy or judgy! After we left Brittney even called me a couple days later to tell me of a promotion where I get $150 Visa gift card per new cell activation, and she did not have to do that! Because she was so thoughtful, she got me $300 back!! Absolutely impressed with them and will for sure be back. Thank you again Brittney, Joe and Johanna! I has just left a verbally abusive husband after 15 years and was having trouble with him hacking my Google accounts. I went into the Verizon store in Shelton in tears and the amazing young lady who worked there made me new accounts and was so patient and knowledgeable.
