This location use to be my favorite Verizon place to go to for anything concerning my phone. My family and I had horrible service at the Verizon store in the Forum here recently. We've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years, so the Forum location always assisted us. Donnie use to help us at this location all the time for years. But here recently, I guess he moved back to Houston with his family and we were getting help by a guy name Austin. He was very condescending and looked like he didn't want to help us at all. He left us to pretend to get us a phone from the back, but never came back. We were waiting for over 20 mins. So, we walked out. It was like the salesmen in there only wanted to help men and not women. They seem unprepared and don't look like they want to do their job. It takes hours for you to get your phone serviced. I'll never come back to this location after 10 years of going here. Bring Donnie back if you want better reviews here bc he use to have us in and out of this place. All we wanted was an upgrade to a phone. Austin tried to tell us we'd have to change our plan to platinum or something in order for us to get our upgrade. Ernesto & Anthony at the Schertz location didn't tell us we'd have to do that for they helped us so smoothly. We ended up leaving to try out the Schertz location and I'm so happy we did. The sales reps not only helped us there but were super kind and gracious with our needs. The Schertz location is our new home for if i have to drive an extra 15 mins there, then so be it. read more

I've had an issue for about half a year now that each time I call customer care over the phone it's been ignored, or unresolved due to negligence. I finally went in to this location and Jeremy took 2-3 hours of his time to help find out the real problem. This is a big deal considering I know the in-person business model is focused on sales and not so much service anymore, which is unfortunate. Everything goes through the third party phone representatives. 5 stars for Jeremy and the store, 0 stars for customer care line. read more

Went in to see about verifying the prices shown on their TV advertisement. The rep was very cordial and extremely helpful. Confirmed the price advertised so we made the decision to switch from AT&T even though they did not provide internet service in our area. Then I get an email showing an activation charge for each phone (4) along with a much higher price for service and a bill for the 2nd month higher than quoted. None of this was stated at signing. Tried contacting their customer service line and automated recording did not allow an option for a live representative. I called the representatives number on her card and her mailbox was not set up so I could not leave a message. That is not the way to conduct business and now I regret changing providers. I hope this helps people considering a change in providers. read more

This place is a joke. If my company didn't offer a substantial discount I would run the other way. They only want you money and will tell you whatever they would like to get you to sign up. The rebates are a joke. Also it takes literally hours to get anything done. The salespeople seem unprepared and need training. I've spent hours in this business twice. Never again. In an effort to cancel a home phone number that is never used, my 82 year old Mother called the Verizon customer line on the bill. She was told that because there was never a pin established for the home number, that she needed to visit a Verizon store. So I take her to the nearest Verizon store and we were told that we needed to take it to the corporate store in San Antonio. I called before heading that way and was directed to the Forum location. We enter the store and the manager, Angie, asks how can she help us. I explained we need to terminate the home phone line and she tells me, we can't do that at the store. I tell her about the before mentioned events that led us to her store. She proceeds to ask me what store I went to and tells me that they are not a corporate location (we'll duh, did she NOT hear what I just explained). I repeated myself and she finally said okay well we can call from here. She picks up a phone, calls a helpdesk line, tells me that I have to cancel over the phone and walks away to help another customer. Keep in mind there was one couple being helped by an employee, my mom and me, and one other person. There were two other employees twiddling their thumbs by the front door. The employee on the line that I have now explained the scenario to a third time, tells me he needs an associate to speak to, to give directions on how to help us. Angie is helping the gentleman in the back of the store, so I ask one of the employees at the front can he come speak to this person. I didn't get his name however, but he told me 'I don't know who that is on the line, I'm not taking that'!!!! I was like, 'this is your colleague and he needs to talk to an associate to help us'. Tells me 'well, I have a customer appt so will have to hang up if they show up'...(seriously?) He reluctantly takes the phone, ends up giving it to Angie anyway because it had to be a manager...after about 40-42 min of this crap, finally we were able to terminate the phone line...the guy's customer never showed up. Angie along with the reluctant guy and the other associate engaged in conversation, didn't acknowledge or ask if we needed anything else, when we finished the transaction and the guy who was helping the other couple in the store was the only one to say 'have a nice day'... read more

Angie the store manager has a horrible attitude and is extremely unprofessional. When I came to this store to complete a curbside pickup they took forever to complete that. Now that I have to return the item that is supposed to fit my phone and does not, Angie let's me know that I have to wait 2 hours to do this as a sales rep has to be available. Meanwhile a sales rep is leaning over the counter helping no one. Angie is having her customer complete their own setup and 2 other guys are actually with people. This is absolutely insane. We just moved to San Antonio from Northern California. We needed to switch over our cell phone service. We went in to Verizon and from the start we met Cedrick and he was great. He knew what he was doing. He helped my husband and I get new phones and create apps etc. He showed us how step by step how to use our new phones. First time having I phones. Cedrick really knows what customer service is all about. Thank you! We are glad we picked Verizon and not Sprint. We had US cellular back home so we had lots of options on new phone service. Only reason why i'm giving this store a 1 star is because they left my account open and the sales rep charged up $250 in fees under my account. After numerous phone calls and hours spent on the phone the main Verizon customer service line finally removed all the charges from my account. Have you had a bad or meh experience at your cellphone carrier business? Then you need to change your carrier and go with Verizon and ask for Donnie. We were not there to spend money but to receive guidance and Donnie treated us as if we had spent a gazillion dollars during our visit. He was patient and VERY knowledgeable. I was told on 6/29/17 when I purchased my new Samsung 8+ that if the phone shield breaks, I could come to the store directly to replace the first few times. I show up today to get a replacement and the staff gives me the run-around. Says whoever told me that I can come here was wrong. I asked what are you going to do to compensate my time. After arguing with me for 10 minutes....the manager said he would give me one now and wait for the one they order through the warranty company to come in to replace it. I thought...great! My family and I have been Verizon customers for years and refused to leave, even though we could save $$$ by going to a competitor. Well, that's all changed! By far the most arrogant and unprofessional staff ever. We called, asked for AirPod Pro. Aaron said they had some and would hold it for us. Drove to the site, 30 minutes after the call. When I arrived I was told that they no longer had some. Aaron said he tried calling me back. Huge lie! We never received a call. There was no apology. Just said that they sold them. EVEN THOUGH THEY TOOK DOWN OUR NAME AND PROMISED TO HOLD THEM!!! Left pretty upset. Called and asked to have a manager call me back. Still waiting. They took my name without asking any basic questions about my problem then after waiting 30 minutes I was told they could not help me. I was locked out of my phone for 24 hours because of some anti theft function even though it was my phone. Then they had me call both Google and Samsung and they could it help me. This Verizon store deserves zero Stars. I order new Verizon service 10.27.21 I went to the store 10.28.21 to pick up new SIM cards for 2 phones. The customer rep I ordered my service phone said I could do this with no problems boy was he wrong! I was asked if I had an appointment I said no then I was told they couldn't help me I had them double-check I was told twice they couldn't help me without an appointment. There was no sorry for your inconvenience. I spent an hour on the phone with Verizon customer service trying to get this resolved no such luck! I went to Verizon store 10/29/21at 10 a.m. when they open. I walk in and tell the guy I'd like to pick up my two SIM cards for new phone service that I haven't unlock my phone so I don't need them to put it in and he tells me no they have to put it in. Again I am turned away. So I sit in my car in their parking lot and call Verizon customer service and after explaining my story several times again an hour later I'm finally told please go into the store and pick up your sim cards. I was told by more than one customer service rep on the phone that it shouldn't be this hard to get SIM cards. I agree 100%. The only reason I tried so hard is because my son wants Verizon wireless and we share a phone bill. I don't recommend this Verizon store at all. By far the worst experience. Almost want to quit verizon due to it. All the employees were rushing us, ignoring us, and actually looked at us like we were stupid when questions were being asked. The sales guy kept trying to send us home to finish the phone transfer. I I'm formed him that we had other errands to run and every other verizon store I have been to normally walks us through it. But nope! Not this guy he said when you leave it should only take a few moments. Then quickly retreated to the back. He said we would have to mail our return phone via mail. First time I heard that, I normally hand it over after the transfer. We stayed anyway and finished the set up. The sales man forgot to get is the return mailer. Took asking 2 reps to acknowledge us and one even rolled his eyes when we asked for it. Finally the orginal guy brought us the return mailer and we asked him if he could just take the phone opposed to us sending it in and he told us no that our transaction was complete and walked off. He was so quick to take our money, didnt walk us through anything, tell us about the phone we got, set up, nothing. My 12 year old was like are they allowed to treat people like this? Great guys......now my kid thinks in customer service this kind of behavior is allowed. Thanks for your money you no longer exist. Hopefully someone does something about this staff. We normally go to another verizon and they are wonderful. But this? We left feeling like an inconvenience to the people working there. Don't EVER take your phone to get serviced. When i came in with a battery issue I entrusted my phone to the manager Billy. He said he would have to take all of my info off of my phone and put it on to there computer to do a master reset. After he did the master reset he could not put my photos, videos or contacts back on my phone. Because of him I lost my sons birthing video and infant photos. To make matters worse he didn't even see the process all the way he left and passed it on to someone else. I ended having to leave my phone there for 2 days and they still didn't fix problem and they ended up ordering me a new phone. If he would've done that to begin with I would have been able to keep all of my precious memories. All they offered was an apology but an apology doesn't help with what they did. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Billy also had the nerve to tell me they weren't allowed to back up people's phones to there computers but he did it to provide good customer service. I have a Droid Turbo which was pushed on to me by the sales team at this store in May of last year. Since then, I've had it switched out three times. Last Saturday, I went to report the same problems once again. DeAnna told me that I had an upgrade on my contract that would be switched to my phone on Tuesday, the 19th, and I could moe to the Turbo 2 which did not have these problems. She also said there was a cheaper plan for me to use as well and that she would call me on Tuesday to set everything up. I never heard back from here and tried to follow up only to be told she wasn't in or was off. Finally went back this morning only to be told that the deal was no longer in effect because she disconnected the line associated with the upgrade. My plan also wasn't changed. No apologies whatsoever. I was then told by the manager that the problem with the phone was probably my fault because of an app I downloaded or something. I am beyond pissed with the people at this store and if I could switch to another service, I'd do it in a heart beat. They really need to get better customer service people here soon. read more

We always go to this location for our upgrades. They have always been very professional and seem to give us the best deal. . Until this last time. We had Shirley as our assistant. She hooked us up with a great deal so we thought. She told us not to panic when we see our first bill just call her and she would take care of it. Well we got our first bill and So we called her but she wasn't very helpful. She didn't adjust our bill like she said she would. I figured she was wanting her commission which is fine but don't add all these extra charges, tell us you will take care of it and then don't! The manager Brittany and her sales employee jason watts are an issue at this location. Jason watts decided he wanted to make changes to my account with out my permission. I was furious and called the Selma location about this. I spoke with the manager Brittany and her main concern was about me cussing and not what her employee jason did. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE / LOCATION. I'm tempted to say not to go with Verizon at all. I was with AT&T for years, perfectly satisfied. November 2015 I inquired on how much my monthly bill would be if my fiancé and I upgraded our phones since we were up for renewal. AT&T quoted us $180 monthly. We shopped around and did research to ensure we were getting a decent quote. We went to Verizon for a quote who said our monthly bill would be $160.00 by upgrading both phones with them. Thus, November 2015 we switched to Verizon and had no issues for one entire year. That is, until November 2016 came and our bill jumped from $160.00 to $210.00 a month! We went to the store for more clarification and they informed us that the "promotional" "mobile phone access" fee was waived for the first year and had since fallen off thus our "new" bill would be $210.00 a month. Confused and upset, we explained to the store manager (Billy Quintalla) the situation and how the sales employee never explained any waived fees that would be applied after one year of service. Also explained that we would have just stayed with AT&T since our bill would have been $180.00. He said there was "nothing he could do" and that "he was sorry." We were swindled, plain and simple. His employee got his commission; as I'm sure Billy got his as well by meeting store quota. Being screwed over is a problem, but the fact that he's being notified of his employees doing business this way with customers and he made no notion to even correct it is what is even more concerning. We told Billy that as result of being swindled we would be going back to AT&T and he replied with "sorry." They couldn't care less. Highly recommend staying away from Verizon especially this store at the forum if you do not wish to be screwed over. read more

I sustained water damage to my phone and went to this location and had the unfortunate luck of running into Billy, Store Manager. He provided unreliable, erroneous advice that was followed being that he is the subject matter expert (so I thought). I need cell phone access daily for my profession, and he offered a solution that I thought was reliable but unfortunately it was very very unreliable. I returned the next day stating his advice was wrong, and I needed a phone ASAP as this is the 2nd working day without a phone. Donnie, store associate (who was very nice and helpful) asked me to return the next day to resolve the issue with Billie but in the meantime I purchased a flip phone. Kudos to you DONNIE!! He assured me that Billy is a reasonable store manager. WRONG. I returned on Wednesday...again...no phone...asked to speak with Billy. When I explained what happened, he appeared dumbfounded and that he was unaware of the type of response...and of course....well, "what do you want me to do?". As if he is doing me a favor. I responded that you gave me the the advice and now...I have no phone...traveled to this location 3 times for your inexperienced advice, added coverages to my account, and you now make it sound like it was my problem because it didn't work out!!! He told me that I could by a iPhone at retail price and that he could not discount. Really...where is your customer service skills. There was no doubt that I was going to purchase a Iphone...but your customer service training instinct should have kicked in and you offer a discount being that you was the cause of the situation by providing misinformation. So...I decided to take my money to the APPLE Store instead. Let's just say....in order to keep a loyal customer, you have to bend but it all works out (you and your store profits). Didn't want the Iphone for free...but not going to pay full price to you and your nonchalant and cocky attitude, when I can get it from APPLE for the same price and with a better attitude!! (HINT, HINT). I rather spend my money where I wasn't inconvenienced and they genuinely care about me (or at least so they make it appear). IT WAS EVIDENT THAT YOU DIDN'T CARE OR WANT MY BUSINESS. As I conversed on my new $850 iPhone from APPLE at North Star with the Verizon representative...I informed him about you in detail and your lack of customer service skills. I asked that this complaint be elevated to the district manager!!! BILLY...your store missed out on $850 that I gladly spent in the APPLE Store!! I will, at all cost, avoid your store in the very near and far future!!! Do the Math...you don't let guaranteed profit walk out the door when you admit that you didn't give the correct information. Take your part in it and show the customer that you value their loyalty and want to maintain that customer service and make things right!!! It's called taking OWNERSHIP!!! This is coming from a loyal Verizon customer since 2004. Billy, maybe you should take some tips from your own subordinate associates!!!! This store is absolutely awful, and I am definitely a "glass is half full" person. When I left the store, I felt like I needed to go take a shower. I had just arrived in San Antonio (My folks live here so I visit them frequently from my home in Los Angeles.) so I was unfamiliar with this store's track record. When I arrived, I was excited because I would be completing the warranty replacement process that I had begun with technical support via phone and internet. I'm a graduate student so I arrived in jeans and a backpack. The store staff treated me with the most unwelcoming attitude. They did not want to help me with my warranty replacement. Simply put, they did not want to work. They asked to view my identification to ensure that I wasnt trying to defraud Verizon out of a replacement cell phone. Nevermind that the week before I had just purchased an $800 iPhone 6 Plus. I was telling the truth (all verifiable by technical support notes that were taken during my phone calls to technical support within the past two weeks). I had nothing to hide so I produced my TX state ID and to assuage any concerns about my having two phones (one with a Los Angeles area code- 213, and one with a San Antonio area code- 210) I produced my CA state ID. Well producing these documents to verify my identity (unbeknownst to me) prompted the store staff to call the Police! A few minutes later I was escorted out of the Verizon store by the police, and they requested that I produce my ID, License, Insurance, Registration so that they could verify my information. I was horrified and utterly embarrassed. I produced all the documents that they requested and they verified that I had a clean record and all documents were valid. I asked them to inform the Verizon store management of the results of their investigation into my documents. They did; however, I didnt want to go back into the store for my warranty replacement. I just wanted to go home and take a shower. Be kind to your heart and stress level, go somewhere else. read more
