Had an appointment and waited over 40 minutes past my appointment time. For reference I completed an upgrade and needed to drop the old phone off. Something that took less than 3 minutes took them 35 to 40 minutes to get to me. When the representative came to assist I asked if an appointment was a suggested time and he gave me the excuse that 4 people walked out and it was shift change and lunch break. This was late in the afternoon, after 5PM. Meanwhile the manager is at the back counter adjusting her bra and breast under her shirt. I then walk up and make her aware that I have an appointment and she states "we will be with you soon". I then state soon has come and gone. Pick another location. I have to say, especially during Christmas time to have received the customer service that my son received at this location was not only disappointing but also just so unacceptable. Luis was incredibly rude and dismissive, refusing to help at first and treated my son and his friend which are both adults poorly. He made them feel like they were an inconvenience. Pretty sad when you upgrade to a new phone and you go to the store to retrieve it and you have to experience this. We have never had an issue with anyone at this location before. I highly recommend for you to have a conversation with this individual, because honestly, if I were to go back to your location for any reason I would refuse to be helped by him. I was on the phone when all this occurred and until I spoke on speaker, he did not change his ways and that is not OK. You may also want to address how employees should go about when they interact with individuals who could possibly have a speech impediment and not to react impatiently like waving their hands in the air, etc. my sons friend has that disability and it is really hard on a young male adult. The most rudest customer service ever. Staff was cold and abrupt. I felt like I was at the drivers license office.

Firstly, we were never greeted or acknowledged when we walked in the door, which typically happens at other locations. After we approached the folks working there we were told there was a wait to see a representative. Meanwhile there are three other employees there on their phones doing nothing work related, as they were laughing and scrolling on their phones. This is just not good customer service. If you don't want to help customers at least go to the back to get paid by AT&T to scroll on your phone. read more

This use to be a good AT&T but the people to include manager are lazy and act if the customer is bothering their check collecting. Asked about a phone and the employee said "oh it must not be working." What software does it run? "You can look it up online." Must be a AT&T museum as they don't want to sell a phone. I've been to this location twice and the only positive is that there hasn't been a wait for service. While that's good, it doesn't mean much when the employees are inept. On both occasions I've walked out empty handed after having walked in with every intention of making a purchase. Apparently, you have more options if you call AT&T or make any changes, upgrades, etc through the app/website. According to the employee with rancid breath, my grandfathered unlimited data plan cannot be carried over to my upgraded phone unless I call or use the web. Also, there's inconsistency in information employees will tell you. Today, when I asked the amount of data used in a month he claimed to be unable to tell me such info. When I pointed out the employee who had done it previously he just shrugged unwilling to find out how it had been done before. When asked to go over and find out, he returned only to state, "Well, they monitor that and I'm not going to get in trouble." At this point I left due to frustration and my firm belief that this employee ate a turd-sandwich while on break. read more

Waited for 1.5 hours this evening and was not seen or helped so I walked out! I bought 3 iPhone 7 Plus a couple of weeks ago, updated my current plan to a "Family Plan" and every since I've been having issues with all 3 phones! I brought in all 3 phones, my laptop and waited for 1.5 hours while they were busy and each sales clerk was with a customer. However, while sales clerks talk about their personal lives to their customers surely is not sufficiently assisting their customers in a cost efficient way. I received no assistance at all with trouble shooting my issues yet I've learned all about the Caucasian male with brown hair and a beard talk about everything relating to his child, wife and buying a Harley as he's always wanted a motorcycle and is just going to buy it and show up at home even if it pisses of his wife. I just bought a pair of Beats Solo 3 headphones from this store. The worker who serviced us, Durian, apparently cut open the box so I can check it out. I didn't look at the headphones long but when I got home I did check it. These headphones ended up being used and there is dirt and dust in the headphones, while the white earpieces looked a bit brown from use. I completely understand staff shortage, but I came in 45 min before closing for simple help. I wasn't asking for to much and thought maybe just maybe I could be assisted. Yes the customer service is terrible, whoever is in charge of training needs to be fired. BUT can I make a recommendation, instead of walking past people who come in and are obviously waiting to be helped how about doing pulse checks "how are you doing, sorry about the wait.. it will be "x amount" of minutes before I can help you. Instead of avoiding eye contact with customers and making transactions longer then they need to be to avoid helping more people before your shift ends is straight trash. Operation Get The Boy A Grown-Ass-Man Phone, Ep.3 AKA The One With The Happy Ending Ummm. .. eww. No. Not *that* kind of happy ending. This ain't that kind of story. Anyway. .. Walked in the door after an infuriating PITA experience at neighboring Sprint. We weren't expecting much beyond disappointment here either, as we'd been warned that AT&T is the most notoriously difficult company with which to obtain service if you have no/poor credit. We were helped immediately, with no wait at all, by Marvin. He was incredibly efficient, helpful, and friendly, making suggestions for phones and plans for my son without being pushy and overbearing. The credit approval process was smooth and painless, and surprisingly enough, Boy was approved for a line of service with only a *very* reasonable deposit. Yay! Better still, because a deposit was required of him, Boy was given the opportunity to purchase an iPhone 6 outright at an incredible discount, and his already reasonable monthly bill will be additionally discounted by 12% due to some sort of partnership agreement with his employer. Insurance is included in his plan, so there was no hard-sell there, and there was no pressure on him to agree to more monthly data than he wanted. Winning! The entire process did take a couple hours, but I think much of that time can be chalked up to the transition from not only carrier to carrier, but also android to iPhone. Not only was our mission accomplished, but it was completed in an atmosphere that was way more pleasant than chore... Recommend! read more

Went in to Forum store to pay off my phone. Waited 20 minutes or more before I interrupted a salesman to tell him what I wanted. Asked if I signed in, No, no one payed any attention to me. Took my name for a waiting list, and said the wait is about an hour. I told him No thank you, and left. Went to the store in Schertz and was in and out in 10 minutes. Seriously the worst store ever !! I really don't know why this store even exists since they really can't do anything for you. You're better off going online to the AT&T website for support or purchases. My first horrible experience was about 6 months ago when I wanted to upgrade our phones. All they care about is trying to push the iPhones and their data package which I wasn't interested in. I get a phone thru work but keep a personal phone for personal reasons. I really don't need the fancy features but they have maybe 2 phones to chose from and can't discount them. I'm not paying $200 for a flip phone...seriously !?!?!?! 2nd experience (guess I didn't learn the first time).... I drive up to go talk with them about a Microcell since I get really crappy reception where I live. You can see the vultures circling around the front door as you approach. One of the reps opens the door for me and begins to look me over. You can see him look at my shoes, clothes, everything...it was creepy honestly !! Walk in and ask about the Microcell. I ask how much they are and state $199. I ask if there is anything they can do about the price since I'm basically having to pay to supplement their service. Rep states only customer service online can discount them because if they try and do it there the "system" won't let them. I might expect that response from a distributor like you see in the mall but not from the retail store. I went home, got on the website and instantly chatted with a support agent who sent a Microcell for free. All they care about are trying to sell you iPads and iPhones....you might as well rebrand it to Apple store. Stay away from them and save yourself some hassle by going to the AT&T website. read more

I needed to go to AT&T to switch service providers because of a family issue. The first person to help us out was nice but pretty incompetent when it came to explaining what switching providers entailed. They never let us know that there would be a credit check just to add a line and my current iphone was locked and did not explain that if we came back after adding a line, we would not be able to lease a phone. We came back after about 45 min. after trying to get my phone unlocked (even though it could not be unlocked) and the system would not let us lease a phone because the line was too new. I thought that it could be overridden by a manager but the associate said that it could not so I purchased an LG phone. The LG phone was not working when I took it home so I waited 24 hours before I went back into the store. When we go back, we ask an associate if we can speak to the manager about overriding the situation and leasing the phone. The associate replied in a rude manner that he was the manager. He asked how he could help us and while my boyfriend was explaining the situation, he scoffed and rolled his eyes while he was talking. We kept having to repeat ourselves because he was not actively listening. He then says "Since you don't know what you even did, we're going to go to the register." Even though we were explaining the situation to him. When he finally understood, he tells me "So all you had to do was pay off your phone at Sprint and none of this would be happening." He does not know my financial situation or my personal situation so that comment was very out of line and unprofessional. The reason why I needed a new phone in the first place was because my grandmother passed away and she was my account holder at sprint. He then proceeds to tell us that he's going to have the person who messed this all up help us out, even though he wasn't busy and could have just saved us time and helped us. The associate, named Roel, was already helping other people out so he had us wait. We waited for about 15 minutes until he finally called another associate, Miguel, to help us out. Miguel was more than helpful and had great customer service. I do not blame Roel because he was just following what his tablet said. Roel even apologized to us personally for the inconvenience. Both Miguel and Roel were very professional with helping us out, yet the manager couldn't even say sorry for anything. He didn't even give us his name, and wasn't wearing a name tag. This manager gave me the worst customer experience I've ever had at any retail store. A manager should be personable, and have people skills, not talk to customers like they just pissed him off. We were never rude or raising our voices, and yet he treated us like we were the worst. Never again going back to this specific store, the management truly sucks. read more

I stopped in today to see if we could possibly resolve an issue that's been going on with my husband's phone. When we got there, Evan was the one that greeted us and decided to help us (although he looked pretty annoyed). I explained to him what was going on, and that's when he decided to do a soft reset. The soft reset did indeed help with one of the problem, however the other problem was definitely not something that could be done on cue. I explained to him that it happens during our conversations, and he insists that he needs to hear it in order to diagnose it. I mean, what was he expecting? A recorded conversation between my husband and I? I felt that he was just trying to give me smart answers, but yet he couldn't even fix the problem himself! The waits are only 6.5X longer than at Austin hwy and once, about a year ago one of the managers went from belittling me mutual all out verbal argument with me in the store,.
