We went in with phones we had purchased elsewhere to have the numbers associated with them switched and all existing date transferred. There was only one person working in the store, Michael Suarez, and after listening to what we wanted to do, he made it happen. No BS, no waiting, NO COST, no problem! What a nice and courteous young man! Must be noted that there were three of us, my wife and I and my son who is about as technically oriented as they come and was the number one cell phone sales person at Comp USA when they were in So Cal. He was anticipating a problem and explained, in a language that my wife and I didn't understand but that Michael clearly did, what needed to happen to make the phones do what we needed. Michael was able to translate that into our language for us, something my kid sometimes is not able to do, and explained in plain English what he was doing. He even gave us the little card that needed to be installed in the phone for free! And always with a smile. When I went to pay, after he worked on things for about half an hour and transferred all of my wife's information from her old flip phone to the Droid phone we broght in, Michael smiled and said "no charge!" and urged us to come back or call if we have any questions or need anything in the future. Crooked. One of the store managers suckered me into a tablet and Hum device I did not want. I specifically told him I did not want to continue my tablet subscription from my previous contract and what does he do? Give me a different tablet subscription to pay for instead. He said the Hum and tablet were free. It was a part of a bundle deal, and I can activate my devices anytime if I wanted to use them. 3 bills later I noticed I'm being charged for HUM and tablet I don't even use. The guy is a crook and only looks after number 1, himself. Has no concern for the benefit of the customer. Only has $ signs in his eyes when people walk through the front door. Looks like a lot of bad apples employed in that store due to some reviews. Just beware of getting ripped off when you go there. They kept the front door locked during business hours when I went there to complain, and only opened it when a customer had to leave or when one arrived. They probably also ripped someone else off who isn't so nice and may come back for revenge lol Who knows. The 1 star is because they help my mom out with her phone. I'm telling her to go in there as much as she can to get our monies worth. This is an update. The business owner gave me an email address to contact regarding my complaint which I did on Monday. Wow, talk about outstanding customer service and you are talking about Chasity! From start to finish she was amazing. While I was there purchasing an upgrade. I watch her and her coworker give 5 star service to each person that walked through the door. They welcomed each person as they came in. I loved that they also let each customer know, they would assist them as soon as they could. I also loved their knowledge on all the items I asked about and purchased. I will definitely refer Chasity and this Location to others. Thank you so much for everything you did Chasity for me today. I also thank you for the follow up email after I left. Horrible!! Stay away unless you want to get ripped off. I went in to upgrade my phone and just found out the other day I was lied to. Partly my fault for trusting the sales rep. Make sure you have them print out everything because they signed me up for an edge plan instead of upgrading my device and worked out a different mathematical plan that would make sense but come to find out after checking the documents online I got screwed. I even asked what the 750 dollars was on the receipt and he just told me that it was the retail cost of the phone. I am now leaving verizon for good and switching to AT&T do to bad business ethics. read more

Initially I was going to leave a "disappointed customer review". Now, I give this store a 5-star review only because of two individuals, who went above and beyond to correct other associates' shortcomings from day before. Sam went to pick up my phones that were not available as promised by the member of a crew from day before. With 2 hours before store closing, he ran to Torrance and then to San Pedro to fetch my and my daughter's iphones, Another word of appreciation will be for Ludym, who stayed way past closing hours to make sure our iphones are functional and we are happy customers. Matthew Kutz helped answer all my questions when I was looking to change my data plan, look at a new phone option, explain different tech devices. I ended up buying a new iPhone 5, hot spot and accessories. Matthew explained how I could get my charges reduced on my family data plan and how to use my new phone. Hi! I went to the Verizon in seal beach (on seal beach boulevard-hopefully this is the right one) and was helped out by Joe. He was truly incredible! I came in late at night knowing nothing about phones (I'm honestly terrible with technology) but he was so sweet and helped me out in picking out just what I needed. He explained to me good ways to save and made sure I knew what I was buying and that I was confident in my decision. Insanely nice and friendly and really personable. I have been going to this location for the past 4 years due to close proximity to my Seal Beach residence and good service with minimal waiting times. Just upgraded my android and wife's iPhone. Store manager Trey especially and staff were most helpful in transferring data and handling other challenges that surface with my questions on functionality and full capabilities of both phones as they occur. I had a problem trying work out my account and SIM card for my iPad. I had it for many years and it was just failing. Fabian and Joe at the Seal Beach Verizon store we're so very patient and helpful. They explained everything so that I could understand what was going on with my device and then worked hard to make sure I had all the perks that were available to me with my account. I had the worst experience ever in this store! The manager, Aaron Gutierrez, lied to me for 5 months about taking care of my rebate for the 2 phones I purchased in September. In addition, he told me he was going to apply a $200 credit per phone for the old phones I was to receive per my purchase agreement. Every week for 5 months I was told a different story by Aaron.
