I was having trouble canceling a service on the phone and had to go into the store. At the store, they said it had to be done on the phone. Always a good experience here, with stalwart professionals. Sometimes the folks are newbies, but they do well too, and always have a veteran close by in case help is needed. My most recent experience was with a guy named Chance. He really knows his stuff! I went in for some help with billing and needed some help with my phone software, and zip, zip, zip, Chance zipped right though it, showing me everything he was doing so I understood and I was DONE! Came in yesterday to help get my phone get activated, the store associate I think was Amina/Ameena was very helpful and they said it should get activated by the next day afternoon. She took time to call their backend to see if it could be sped up. The phone was activated on its own the next day morning. Another time I came in to get help connecting my Apple Watch to my phone and resync it since it stopped taking calls etc. the associate spent a good hour to help me figure that out and we were able to fix it and I was happy. Sometimes this store can get busy so I'd recommend coming in when it's not as busy. read more

Paul, white elder man wears recording rayban glasses which is illegal in California to record and should not be allowed as it's uncomfortable. He is absolutely horrible, rude and not helpful. I tell him I need to turn my phone back on and he says well did you pay the bill. I said it's more complicated than that as I've had a heart attack and the phone is off. He has an attitude and says I need to pay it before anything and tries to lead me to the pay station. I asked to speak to the other guy who said he would be right with me and Paul says he's going to lunch. I ask who is the manager and he says he is (Paul). I tell him it's fine, I'll go through corporate and he says let them know I was trying to help and have a nice day. read more

The representative (we will call him T) who assisted me intentionally lied to me or is spectacularly incompetent. My phone stopped working and I needed a replacement. I initially arrived at the store in the morning. During the check in process he failed to check to see if the phone was insured. He asked other customers this question. The wait was long and he advised me to go home and contact customer service. Because the phone did not work they couldn't verify my account and customer service advised me to go back to the store. The manager (we will call him D) checked me in again. I waited for an hour. When I asked D about the wait, he told me that "I took ten minutes of his time". He isn't very good at his job, and obviously does not like his or customers. After an hour T said he would help me. He told me I did not have insurance. I asked to buy/upgrade a phone. I gave him the model and he stated that because of supply chain issues the phone was not in stock. He stated that he could not help me. He said he only sold "high ends phones", suggesting that I was some how inferior to him. He advised me to go to Best Buy buy a phone and swap out the SIM card. This whole process took about eight hours I left the store made one stop and proceeded to the Cupertino store. They resolved the issue in about 20 minutes. The representative at the Cupertino store advised me that my phone was insured. The next morning myself and another party called Verizon four times to do a stock check for the phone at the Saratoga West Gate location. Each time the response was the same. Four phones available. The representative T lied about the status of my phone insurance and lied about the availability of the phone. I believe this was done intentionally. At the Cupertino store I was given the business card of the manager. I wanted to contact the District Manager and I was told the manager would give me the information. I called several times. I left voice mail messages and left text messages. No response. This was a customer service disaster of epic proportions. An individual has to really try very hard to be this bad, but D, T and the Cupertino manager managed to pull it off. The lack of professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, respect, honesty and general personal hygiene leaves one gobsmacked.​ read more

Verizon has a new game plan. You return a phone people do this every day . you send back your old phone with their UPS label and box and you would think that would be the end of it . you have your receipt fool proof return .No. the software ignores the return bills you for that phone and if you are on auto pay it hits your account. mine was hit for 2k. took a month of hours on the phone a credit is issued less the taxs which are also owed to me. dispute with bank . next month Verizon bills you again for that same returned phone and if you don't pay this they will shut off your phone . Verizon stores and phone agents are powerless to help . avoid or don't renew . read more

This store run by Amanda Segura is pure trash. I feel bad for both the customers and staff. What I witnessed was horrible today. I waited 2 hours to get my bill settled, but they made two 70 year old customers wait 2 hours to get their phone number transferred!! They came before me and I felt bad for the old lady who was given the run around over and over by their staff!! When it was 4 pm, the poor lady asked what was going on, and Amanda said she had to let everyone to go to lunch and make everyone wait another hour. Who plans to let their whole staff go to lunch at the same time and ask everyone to wait another hour! By the way, I thought my service was bad, then I realized how old folks get taken advantage of here. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with Verizon, trying to get my daughter's info transferred to her new phone without success. Decided to visit the store and try our luck there. Carlos greeted us, and I told him what the issue was. He was extremely kind and patient and very friendly. After troubleshooting for a bit, he was able to figure out why it wasn't working. I tried talking to these folks about my phone that broke and a replacement that I purchased, and their dumbfounded faces were ghostly. I cam in here to upgrade on phone and the customer service wasn't great. I had wanted to trade in my phone, and instead of taking my old phone. They gave me a box, some tissue, and a label and told me to mail it in myself. They also refused to set up my new phone for me. I also asked them for help to sync my Iwatch to my phone. The customer service here is superb! I was having an issue with my phone not receiving texts. I spent two days trying to fix the issue by calling Verizon's customer service line but nobody was able to fix my issue. I finally decided to visit the Verizon store located at Westgate Mall and Alex, the store manager, helped fix my issue in less than 30 minutes. Unknowledgeable, and condescending staff. Tyler had no idea of the differences between chargers, he also claimed that the Verizon charger is going to have superior compatibility with an apple phone. While Im sure he believes that, Verizon chargers I've bought have always burnt out faster and ruined charging speed. He had no idea if they sold lightning speed charging cables. He had no idea about air pods even though they sell them and gave false information on the product. It's worse to give your customers fake information than just saying "I don't know". I wasn't told that cash payments wouldn't be giving me back any change. He stood there awkwardly before offering to grab my receipt from the front. I had to ask for it. Quick update! I tried to get my situtation fixed with the unauthorized charge by their associate. They told me they would not help me unless I came in. (Why would I come in to a place that is trying to steal my money?) They reached out to me via yelp and I told them to make things right, I would like to return the unworking phones. Alfredo, the manager, told me I had to pay a $100 restocking fee. They did not care about their unethical worker. They just wanted me to pay more money for an error their worker did. I came to get my new phone, have it activated, and buy a case. I had a fantastic experience. Buying and dealing with phones and phone plans is not always the most enjoyable experience but this really was. The associate that helped me was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I stayed to make sure my phone and all the settings went through on my new phone so I was there for a bit. But that was my choice. I didn't feel rushed and they made sure everything was okay and gave me any assistance I needed. Since I was there for a little while, I was able to observe their interactions with other customers as well. I was impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. A woman came in who spoke Mandarin and limited English. The staff called their corporate office and found a staff member who spoke Mandarin who could help her in her preferred language. I was so pleased that they were accommodating and did their best to make sure she received the service she needed. read more

AVOID this Store at ALL Costs. They do Not work in the interests of the Customer and are unethical. I was slammed by the sales guy on Saturday. My wife and I came in to move my 87 year old Mother's iPhone 6S from my wife's AT&T account to my Verizon account. I use 1GB of data and my mom, 0.1GB! So I figured no problem for my 2GB plan. I was told that she could not be added and I would need to upgrade to an unlimited plan. That it was $70 per line. I pushed back that there had to be cheaper options. He said there was not. I point out that she is about $20 (after discount and taxes) on my wife's AT&T plan. He said it was because they did not have ultra wide-band 5G. I asked for options. He said there were no other options. Next he looked at my bill and told me I could save me money by upgrading me to 5GB plan! It was $5 less. Now I might not be the smartest, my degree is only from Stanford, but my wife is a UC Berkeley grad and she heard $5 less too. So I agreed. Well tonight I login, and yep, the Account fee Is $5 less. BUT the line fee is $15 more. So a net $10 increase for something the Verizon Sale Rep knew I did not use nor needed. This is NOT right, nor fair. So I connected with the on-line support people. They reverted my plan. AND they told me that I CAN add my mother's to my plan for $20! NOT $70. And I did NOT have to upgrade my plan to unlimited. I understand they are under no obligation to work in the customer's best interests, but the information provided to me and the pretense to change my plan were clearly unethical. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT use this store. EVER! read more

I went to the store and they were closed with different hours listed on a piece of paper on the door than usual listed on here. However, it is very easy to update the hours online so people don't waste their time showing up to the store thinking that they are open when they are not. Don't waste your time at this store. My experience was similar to going to a used car lot where the sales person talked in circles while he was flipping through his iPad looking for ???? a deal?? I said upfront I wanted a free phone with my trade in. Verizon is advertising all the time about their iPhone 13 and 14 deals. I made an appointment to upgrade my iphone 7. I arrived at 12:45 p.m. and met with Nathaniel. He recommended I move to an unlimited plan because we went over our monthly data allotment on a regular basis, so I did. He brought out the iphone 14 I had chosen and then transferred the data to my new phone. Once I checked to ensure all of the data had transferred, he helped me wipe my old phone and I turned it in. I finished the transaction at 1:30 p.m. Easiest transaction ever. Nathaniel is personable, knowledgeable, and knows his stuff. I would recommend him if you need a new phone. read more

Came by the other morning to get a nano-SIM for my new-to-me Nexus 6 as the Cupertino store was having issues connecting to the Verizon network and couldn't access any accounts?!? The greeter checked me in upon arrival and informed me that there were a couple folks in front of me. After 5-10 minutes, Roben came up to me with his gray sweater (V logo on his left sleeve) and Verizon name tag to help me out. Walking in to switch service from one phone to another. Lady wanted to charge for SIM card, transferring data from one home to the next. Large place but there is a lot of empty space. Put the product out on the floor. Had to ask for products and the reply was, "oh we have that in the back, we don't put that out." Strange comment considering I was in the Saratoga California store which is around the same size. Lots of products out for customers to purchase and see. If your so worried about sales and charging for every little thing, put product out on the floor. Have your agents be a bit nicer and less rude when questioned are asked. I know you work here, but don't judge a book by it's cover. You don't know what I know and what I'm willing to pay for. read more
