Other one star reviews are absolutely correct. Go in Thursday to get a new phone by trade in. I've done this many times at a different location. Usually really quick, they grab the new phone do their scans and updates inform me I have 30 days to return my trade in device, print me a shipping label maybe a box if I'm lucky. This place was the opposite. The lady insisted we do everything there. As every back to back iPhone user knows when you get a new one and want to transfer everything the new device needs to be updated. So then she told us to "go shopping" or something for an hour and come back and everything should be done by then. I told her I would just do it at home. Then she insisted we bring the phone back to the location within 30 days. Do the transfer, reset old phone, and go to give it back the next day. The employee that I had worked with was allegedly off and won't be back for a few days and James "couldn't" take back the phone because the previous employee we worked with was the "boss" and did it a way he "wouldn't have". Couldn't offer me a shipping label, refused to help in any way. Explicitly and repeatedly told me to just take it somewhere else. Was very argumentative from the moment we walked in. Never took his headphone from his ear. Very unprofessional. What's supposed to be an extremely easy and quick service is now requiring me to go back and forth and then to a new location completely. Just take the extra time out of your day to drive to another location trust me it'll be worth it. read more

Been coming here for several years. Recently was helped by JAMES in getting me set up with a new iphone. Very considerate and patient. When I went back to turn in my old phone, found ARTHUR and GISSELL sitting in an office with 0 electricity. Visited the store at 1604 @ Bandera Road today on an emergency basis since my Android was on its last breath. The four year old phone would no longer accept a charge and it was critical that I secure another phone ASAP if I wanted to save contacts and photos which I have had since day one. I walked in explained things to Alejandro and he jumped into action. He helped me buy an Apple product at a great promo offer. He immediately began to set me up with the iPhone, access codes, and downloaded all contact and photos to my new smartphone all in thirty minutes max. The young man knows his business and performed everything in a very professional manner. He was attentive, patient, very skilled at this job, and demonstrated professionalism throughout the transaction. This old man hadn't seen that type of customer service in a long time. Trish is the name I'm most recommending in this Review!! I went into T-Mobile after years with Sprint and was turned away because my phone has a little paint worn off. Arriving at the Verizon store Trish greeted us with a smile and a laid back attitude and super friendly!! We shared are experience with T-Mobile and she assured us that we have made the right choice by going there and man did we!!! Trish helped us get into new phones lowered are existing bill and was Awesome at getting everything lined out and super fast it's hard to believe that after 15 yrs I was no longer a sprint customer. People let me tell you this T mobile sucks!! Especially the one off bandera by the Walmart. Trish even helped us find the phones that were best for us as well as a plan. Be careful about when you go into this store. If you need service...be prepared to wait. They do not move in a hurry. The bad part is I saw at least two other Rep's that were standing behind the counter looking at the other 8 customers waiting. That's when I got up and left. Meanwhile, I have seen two or three employees come out from the back and go back. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here like its the damn DMV waiting for my name to be called while employees are playing Pokemon Go in the back. I went to this location yesterday after receiving the worst service of my life at the Heebner Oaks location and I was helped by the manager on duty at the time this was 19 February. I don't recall her name but she was extremely competent, courteous, and helpful. I highly recommend the store over all others especially the one on Heebner Oaks as I received horrible service. read more

The staff here is in dire need of training on customer service. Instead of helping my father, who is in his late 60's, set up his new phone, they printed him out instructions from their website, told him to do it himself, and sent him on his way. My poor dad still hasn't figured it out. If you have the time... just drive down the road to the location at the rim. The store is smaller... but the guys are much friendlier and genuinely take their time to help you, learn your name, and make sure you're actually taken care of before you leave the store. read more

Went to this location to trade in old un-used devices under the Verizon Recycle program. This location was easy to find with plenty of parking. Once inside I was surprised as this is one of the nicest Verizon locations I have been to in awhile. Most of the San Diego, CA locations are run down or older with terrible parking and horrible customer service. Customer Service at this location was fantastic, there were 3 Reps and all of them were helpful and very friendly. The trade in was quick and easy, the Rep helping me went out of his way to apply my credit to my account which I thought was very nice! This is an awesome location and I will definitely be back when I need to make a cell phone / accessories related purchase!! read more

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. There is absolutely no customer service provided after the sale of a device. I would not recommend this location to anyone after an experience earlier this week with a sales rep. Maybe someone should remind this location that if there are no customers frequenting, then there is no need to have a store; therefore, no need for associates. Verizon should consider providing more extrenuous customer service training to the associates currently employed at this location, reminding them that the customer should never leave the same way they came in, or start over from scratch with associates who will understand that the customer should be provided with superb customer service at all times. read more

I went to upgrade my iPhone and give my previous phone to my son who was already on my plan with another type of phone. Everything went fine at the store and clerk told me I was good to go at the end of it all. Long story short as possible: when I got home, I discovered that only about half of my apps transferred to my new phone. But the worst of all, now all incoming calls ring on my son's phone too, and he is receiving all of my text messages, as well. In addition, all of my contacts are showing up on his phone. I've figured out how to remedy most of this with some internet searches, but if they believe that it's normal for me to want to have all incoming calls & texts appear on my son's phone, then I'm at the wrong store. I would hope they have dealt with this issue before and could have anticipated the problem. But if they believe this to be adequate customer service, then I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. The guy insisted we purchase an iPhone 7 Plus case for my mothers 6plus. I was arguing that the case although a close match did not fit exactly right and overlapped a small amount on the Camera. Although the picture wasn't covered by the case would this mess up the cases protection design? Even if it doesn't. The Rep. Gave me attitude and proceeded to tell my mother "sometimes you can overthink" to which she responded he's my son and he is just trying to tell me what's right. "That's fine have a blessed evening" with extreme attitude and sarcasm. Not someone I think verison wants representing them. read more
