We had this repair shop remove a broken off lightning charger end. It was done in a few minutes and $30 I think. Having gotten by on wireless charging for months, my daughter was very relieved. This company has no respect for the customer. I brought in a video game console for a simple repair. Upon getting it back, the console was in more disrepair than I took it in for! They actually had the nerve to tell me that I must have "dropped it" on the way out of the door and that's why it didn't work. I was overcharged for the one part required but did get my money back for the "repair" that they DIDN'T DO... and the "part" was called "thermal paste". They told me that they had to order a special tube which cost $15! (High quality thermal paste only costs about $8 guys.) I ended up taking the console to a LEGITIMATE REPAIR SHOP and come to find out: they did NOT plug the ventilation fan back in and they didn't even change the thermal paste!!! On Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, the unthinkable happened: my iPhone--my portal to the outside world, my repository of food photos, the device upon which I attain my minute-by-minute source of narcissistic supply from Yelp--died and would not take a charge. Panic stricken, I considered my next move forward. Would I buy a new overpriced iPhone or pay an exorbitant fee to replace the battery at an Apple Store? In my haste to find a solution, I initially failed to consider UBreakiFix, a reputable repair shop located only a few miles from my house. I'm glad I eventually remembered reading so many positive reviews about this store on Yelp. Keith -- bespectacled nerd/tech guru extraordinaire --was able to replace the battery of my iPhone 5S at a reasonable cost ($60). He was professional, confident, and struck me as being intimately familiar with the innards of my device. As far as I knew, my iPhone was powered by magical dust particles from Stonehenge*, but I trusted his exhaustive (and just a tad pedantic) technobabble explanation for why my original battery went kaput. My battery had been on the fritz for months, forcing me to lug around a hefty external power brick and charger cable, so I should have replaced the battery long ago. Lesson learned! The next time one of my batteries begins to slip gently into that good night, I shall rage against the dying of the light and return to UBreakiFix. *With this review, I have now referenced "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" a record 57 times on Yelp. You be the judge :-( I needed a simple screen replacement and trusted these guys with such a simple task. Prior to bringing in my laptop, I reformatted the HDD to ensure no sensitive data was available. The photos below show that I did perform this task and that the computer was working fine prior to dropping it off. Well, they called me two days later and said they couldn't get a image out of the laptop and that it was way more messed up than just a simple screen. I had the impression that fast and affordable service was what I should expect. Took in my laptop and was given an estimated pickup of the next day. Two days later I called and was told that I needed a new charging port. I already knew that before taking it in. I did not receive a call from them since they had my phone number incorrect. I authorized them to repair. Called today a week after taking it in and the part has not arrived. When the part does arrive it will take another 24-48 hours to repair. I was never given any kind of timeline on how long it would take to receive parts or the length of time to repair. I obviously did not ask enough questions in the beginning about their process. I did not get a good feeling when I first took it in. I was treated with a dismissive attitude about why I thought it was the charging port and it needing to be replaced. I had done my research regarding the problem and price before taking it in. I was not looking for great customer service but I expected better. I am hopeful that the repair goes well and am able to pick up in the next few days. read more

Consider going elsewhere. Took an iWatch for a broken screen repair. The iWatch was working ( I checked before I dropped it off and the guy who took the passcode from me also saw it was working). Got a call a few days later that the screen was repaired but the watch showed "no signs of life" and the manager attempted to tell me that I gave them a completely broken non working watch. Also it costs $199 (not including tax) to have your iWatch screen repaired. You can buy a new one for $100 more. Don't waste your time and money. Should have just bought a new one from the start. read more

Took iPad on Thursday to get cracked screen fixed. Guy looked at it and said should have fixed by Monday or Tuesday and would send email with updates to let us know when it was ready. Called following Wednesday as we'd not heard anything. Guy said he was going to have to watch a YouTube video to see how to replace screen and would let us know when it was ready. Called the following Monday and was told they had determined that there was damage to mother board, basically a dead iPad and they had determined it was not repairable and we could pick it up in about 4 hours! Not once did they call or text or email with update over the week and a half that they had it. read more

This place is a joke! Took my surface pro (which is a touchscreen) to get the screen fixed. Was told it would take couple of days. Which ended up taking almost 2 weeks due to parts that needed to be shipped. They never kept in touch, my husband and I had to continuously call almost daily. The day prior to us picking it up, we're told they just needed to place the screen and it would be ready the next day. Next day came and while my husband is on the way, he's told the screen would be faulty and would NOT WORK AS A TOUCHSCREEN! Ummmm... what?! He also added that If we pay $80 extra we could have that fixed lol. So first you say I'm gonna have a faulty screen and then a touchscreen laptop that won't work at all unless I pay more?! Had an accident and dropped my phone in some mud. My sound was not working and the insert for my headphones was filled with mud. He knew what the problem was and ordered the part. When he opened my phone and found all he had to do was to clean the mud from inside and it started working. When he told me the cost it was so reasonable. I highly recommend them. read more
