They said they needed to order the screen from the manufacturer, and it COULD take some time due to supply chain issues. After a year of having a single crack on my screen I dropped my phone today and it really broke the screen beyond normal use this time and I decided to get it fixed. It took about an hour and looks almost as good as when I opened the box. The screen looks great, not like those cheap replacements that look washed out. First, thank you Cindy R. fellow Yelper! and recent friend I met at an event. Your review was all I needed to give them a try. You were correct, these guys are really nice as well as skilled. Tony's Chromebook decided to require re-installation of its OS. This is something of a common issue that I found when I did a YouTube search. There are many informative videos on how to fix this problem...but after trying it myself I decided to call on the professionals. Quez did a thorough intake interview on the Chromebook and explained their policy on giving us a diagnostics at no charge. We dropped off the book and within a couple of days had a call back from them with recommendations. I was impressed at the level of detail and patience to all my inquires regarding the issue. I appreciated how Nas explained that our particular issue was one that needed replacement, and felt confident about this diagnosis based on the facts. It seems this is an ongoing issue with the particular model we have. We will need to replace our Chromebook, so at their suggestion, I will be contacting Google to see if their level of customer service matches uBreakiFix. They followed their policy to the letter and did not charge us for the diagnosis since it was a problem that could not be repaired. They would not even take a tip which we were happy to give them for their outstanding service! Wow! I have not seen this level of customer service very often. I am happy to recommend this team at this particular location (the only one we have visited) to anyone with an issue requiring professional service with any device. Took my gaming computer here to get replaced, was given the back & forward run down almost every other 2-3 weeks even when they told me it would be a couple days before I would expect the next call, never received the call. Waited upwards up to 2 months just for 2 visits with these people. First time, computer didn't work, ordered parts, took them to get replaced. The old RAM was wet so apparently the entire motherboard had to be replaced, which was realistic & understandable. Mind you, I had ordered a new motherboard and new RAM sticks for them to replace. I get a call 2 months later talking about it had a domino affect on the other parts & now everything needs to be replaced for the 'very low budget price' of $499 This computer only cost me $750 + upgrades & what not, so around maybe $900 total. What makes you think a person would pay half what they spent on their entire computer just for y'all to replace the entire build with 'very low budget parts'. Might as well buy a whole new computer. This wasn't the only problem I encountered with this company, I was told to my face to buy this specific CPU fan & I clarified over and over to whoever I was speaking to if it was the right part & he insisted it was. Went through this TWICE with them before I finally got the right fan! If that wasn't enough for you; don't you think a computer technician would know that one wet part could've possibly ruined all the other parts & told me that before wasting my time for 2 months & ordering a simple motherboard & a cpu fan splitter for a DDR3 motherboard? Sounds like a quick money scheme getting someone who they know needs something to buy something 'low budget' which isn't true. read more

Needed to get my iPhone camera fixed. After visiting another location they told me they'd be unable to do the repair due to not having the part and referred me to this location. I called just before their close of business on Thursday and was told they had the part and would be able to do the repair the following day as long as I came before noon. I arrived shortly after they opened, well before noon and was told they'd be unable to do the repair and they no longer had that part. I would not recommend going to this location. I was skeptical at first because of previous reviews, but thought I would give it a chance. It was very disappointing since I had made an appointment and the gentleman left me standing there for several minutes only to tell me I needed to call customer service. While asking questions he was very vague and dismissive. NOT helpful at all. I walked out of the store with zero answers. Then he called me an hour and a half later to ask if I was coming in for my appointment and I had to remind him that he let me walk of the store while I patiently waited for assistance. If you're a Samsung customer and have issues with the pre-installed screen protector on the S20 then you're better off going through your insurance company or just peeling it off and putting on your own. The guy at the counter was nice enough but gave me the runaround by directing me to call the "corporate store" on Blanco, which didn't even have what I needed. Not recommended. read more

DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to experience extremely poor customer service, as well as poor quality work. I have had TWO bad experiences here. The 1st experience involved me bringing my phone in with a cracked screen to have it replaced. Everything was still working correctly on the phone, however when I went to pick it up, the home button magically stopped working and was deemed "unrepairable" by this company. I took my now broken and cracked phone to the Apple store where they were able to fix it properly. I decided to give this store a 2nd chance when I cracked my screen again. They were able to successfully place a new screen on my phone, however I noted that the screen appeared more dull, dim, and yellow tinged when compared to my previous screen. Typing has also become significantly more difficult due to the change in touch screen sensitivity. I used to be able to type quickly on my phone, but now I am finding myself constantly editing what I type due to missed letters or lack of a functional space bar. I brought my dysfunctional phone to this location to question the changes noted after the screen replacement and the employee said it's because thy don't use Apple products so there was nothing they can do to fix it. To make things worse, I paid the same amount for a screen replacement at this place as I paid at the Apple store. Don't ever come here!!! It's a waste of money. Just go to the Apple store. It's the same price for better quality of customer service and better quality products. So unhappy with this place. read more

More like uBreakiDontFix. I wish I could leave a zero rating for this place. I went in yesterday around 1 pm to have the back glass on my S9 replaced as the glass that protects the rear camera had shattered. I was told that they had the part for my model in stock and that it would take two hours. I came back after one and a half hours later and was told by Jonathan that it was almost completed and that they were running the diagnostics that Samsung requires. After an hour later, Jonathan comes from the back and tells me that it failed a section of the diagnostic test due to the test not recognizing the front display and that he doesn't know why. The front display was working fine prior to me bringing it in for service. There should not be any reason that the front display should not have been recognized unless they screwed something up when attempting to replace the glass back casing as they claimed. Jonathan said that due to it failing a portion of the test, that Samsung doesn't allow the sale of the replacement to go through. He said that I could replace the front display (which didn't have any issues prior to them laying their hands on it) for $229 in addition to the price of $59, not including tax to replace the back glass as well. That's nearly the price I would put towards a new phone! When I refused, due to no physical damage to the display and for him not providing me a reason why the front display could have failed the test, he said that he could place the original back on the phone again. So, either he was trying to gouge me out of more money for a front display screen that is working, something went wrong during the repair and they tried to cover it up, or all the above. In addition, when I received the phone back with the original back on it, the sticker from Samsung with the serial number had been removed. They did not get my consent to remove it! I wasted two hours of my time to receive the phone back just like it was, to begin with. I usually repair my own devices, but I opted for uBreakiFix due to them being an authorized repair place for Samsung. NEVER again. If you want something done right, do it yourself or go to any other place outside of uBreakiCrook. Samsung should be ashamed of partnering with them for repairs! read more

If I could give 10 Stars...I would. Customer service was the BEST. I was with my friend who's LG phone went nuts and was stuck on menu and it kept repeating everything over and over. We went to Walmart and they screwed around with it for awhile. Then informed us it was broken and we needed to get a new phone. We got a Galaxy for about $300.00. My friend hated it and finely ...I couldn't take any more and found this phone repair place in Leon Springs by Willeys. We went in... the technician diagnosed and repaired the phone in 30 minutes.....so glad! We returned the Galaxy and all was well....life was good--again! :-D read more

Had to come to to get my Pixel 2 XL repaired after having problems with another service's ability to communicate and acquire parts. Needless to say, before even heading out, I started by calling ahead to make sure they'd have what I needed, which was the start of polite, professional service on their behalf. Drove down to drop my phone off (the hardest part being finding the place [it's right next to the theater, not the main shopping center]), where I again received quick, honest, professional service. Phone was fixed in roughly an hour (I left it there b/c it was the middle of the workday), and came out looking brand new again. I hope to never have to use them again (I mean, that'd involve something breaking, and nobody wants that), but if I did, their service would certainly draw me back. read more
