This is the absolute worst representation of Verizon, You will ever experience. The staff is rude condescending, and very vocal about their dislike of the manager and his work. They have distain for the call center and openly expressed that. The response when questioned about all of it is, "they are not Verizon, they are an affiliate."I was thoroughly disgusted with the lack of self-control, the disdain exhibited, the utter disregard for services to be given to clients, and the absolute atrocious rude behavior If you want good service go to Gig Harbor to a corporate store. Gave 2 stars 11 months ago. This location is so bad at service. Had a sim card issue. Bought phone 1 year and 4 months ago. The rep scolded me for not getting insurance. Took out card and put back in. Then told me only fix was to upgrade my phone. What a waste. Went home and called the corporate # and they are sending new sim card or phone, whatever resolves it. If I could give minus stars I would. Regretfully I went in this store. I should have dialed customer service, I basically got robbed. I went t to buy a Verizon phone for my nine year old. I said I wanted a phone that was only call text. It's a flip phone. All he needs it for is calls from me or his mom or other family, he's a child. They tried getting me, and I mean trying to used car dealer me. I stared with buying a pay as you go from Walmart, but I hate Walmart. Wanted a pay as you go, Verizon doesn't have those in a Verizon store, so all their prices were way more, I wanted less than 25 a month. It was two men, and a manager. Acting like they were wheeling a dealing to give me the best deal. Finally they said phone, protection plan was to be approximately twenty a month. Well, first bill was about two hundred more which I complained and was told next bill, well my next bill was way more too. Came in looking to set up a business plan. The business manager was not in store but was on the phone several times and was completely unhelpful and rude to the employees. Edith was helping us and was incredibly helpful and I would love to give her 5 stars, but Dan the business manager needed to do a step in the process and would not help. We were there for 3 and a half hours and still ended up leaving without a business plan because there was no end in sight to when Dan would help us finish the process. Again I want to say that Edith was very helpful and pleasant to be around the entire time, but she couldn't get Dan to help us finish the process. Super frustrating. read more

My advice is to go into the store versus calling some of the tech people were super nice others not so much. I had a pretty interesting call today and the four people I talked to were nice but the last person I spoke with kept interrupting me wouldn't let me speak was kind of rude all together kept putting me on hold I explaining my situation I literally had keep repeating myself and then she hung up. I had to get a new phone as mine was crapping out and the process of switching my info over to a new phone ended up going about 20 minutes over their closing time... On Christmas Eve... He kept it up with the awesome customer service, didn't once rush me or get annoyed which I really appreciated and all of my questions were answered fully. I absolutely have to give props to Tori at the Verizon store by Fred Meyer. I went in today to switch from Ting (Sprint's pay as you go plan) because the Sprint coverage was just not working for me. RUN!!! I bought a new Apple X, Apple 8 Plus and a new I pad. (Nice sale I thought...) I asked them to back up my phone and transfer the old phone to the new so I would lose any data. They completely screwed it up and wiped my old phone before I had a chance to see if everything came through! I lost 3 years of photos & videos in my gallery, ALL my apps were deleted and that content lost and none of my text messages or favorites came over. That's what I know is missing so far. Who knows what else is gone that I have yet to discover. Go Wireless would LOVE to blame the poor sales girl, but she was only doing as she was trained. After they refused adequate compensation for my loss, I returned the entire purchase. When I tried return the new phone and have both the assistant manager AND the store manager transfer back to my old neither of them couldn't do it either. So clearly this is a company wide issue. Top off it off with my son witnessing the manager make a snide comment as I left the store. Not very professional... The whole experience was a nightmare. NEVER purchase from this store. Go to Apple directly. I did. They should rename it No Wireless. read more

Takes a while to get things done, but what cell service doesn't take a while these days. We worked with Joe (10 stars for him!) today and he was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful, shared moments of humor with us during the semi-stressful process of upgrading and buying new phones, and was conscious of making sure to get us the best deal possible for our new phones and our cellular plan. He made the extremely drawn out process of upgrading phones almost fun and while he was definitely a sales person he wasn't pushy or obnoxious like some of them can be respecting our decisions. There were so many issues with the customer service at this store. I reluctantly bought a new phone after a 30 minute conversation with an ill-mannered employee. I was told they couldn't ship it to any closer Verizon store and that they would call me as soon as it got in. I was on my way back from a trip and the store is an hour and a half away from my house. It arrived at the 10 am according to my tracking number and I didn't receive a call the next day in the afternoon. I was really swamped with work so I sent my boyfriend on an long errand to retrieve my phone. We had called the store and they had sent us directly to customer support who told us we could pick it up and all they would have to do is call me on another phone. He gets there and to his dismay gets into a kerfuffle with a manager. He proceeds to call me, I add him to my account and he goes in and retrieves the phone. After all of that nonsense, the person helping him tells him that a phone charger doesn't come with that particular phone and he buys a $40 charger after being manipulated by staff. I recieved no call from the store about it at all. I love Verizon but not this particular location! read more

Came in at 6:50 pm and ended up purchasing a phone. Jason and the other worker there that evening were helpful and nice even though the store was closing an hour early due to world events. Weren't pushy when purchasing a phone even though they closed at 7:00 and didn't leave until 7:15. Even applied discounts. Good experience overall. read more

Ordered my upgrade phone on the 20th and on the 30th of November it was still not in the store. The manager said that sometimes it takes a while and that the availability of the phone may have been a factor. I canceled the order and ordered direct from the Verizon site and received it December 1st. The store fees and set up charges came to about $150.00 vs ordering off the Verizon site paying just the tax of $63.00. Very dissatisfied with this store, the manager and the staff. I was offered no apology and the let me walk out of the store completely frustrated. read more

Well.... My mistake was not asking the price of the screen protectors I priced online.... After paying I discovered they were $20 more in store! Been waiting for the "manager" to return the poor sales associates message requesting a refund code for over 10 minutes now. Also have a now hungry baby wanting to go eat like we were planning to after our "quick" stop. Will not be returning after I am finally able to get my refund. The place can get kind of busy and setting up a new phone can take a while. But the customer service is awesome! They have so much work involved to set up phones and plans, and mine did take awhile cause of everything that i wanted. However they are really patient and try really hard to make things go smoothly. And if they can't get you what you want right away, they will work out something. This store is highly recommended. So I came in a few days ago and was immediately greeted with a huge smile by joe. I automatically knew this would be a good experience. Joe did greet me but was with a customer and assured me we'd be assisted soon. I made up my mind instantly that it was him that I wanted to help me. Another guy came up to me asking how he could help I think his name was chris I told him I was gonna wait for the smiling kid because Chris just seemed boring and very pushy. I said I wanted to wait for the other guy and this man was insistent on helping me because joe was busy. I know how sales work and he just wanted the sale again told him no. Joe finished with his customer and I approached him being as I was waiting. I told him I wanted him to help me instead of his coworker he seemed very appreciative even offered me a bottle of water being as I waited a bit for him. I explained to him how I felt rushed by his coworker and he said hed talk to his manager about it. He was soo helpful saved me 80 bucks on my cell phone bill and helped me get a new phone line set up for my mother and this kid was soo honest. I explained my mom has never had a smart phone and she doesn't understand technology. What really impressed me was that he didn't try to sell me everything he made suggestions based off what I told him about my mother and she ended up getting what joe described as an entry phone for beginners. Long story short he was amazing my mother loves her phone. I walked in for a question about the functionality of my phone. Was approached by a young man named Isaac. He looked at my phone and told me what he believed was the issue(battery was swollen and died way too often because I used it as a hot spot all the time ) he offered to review my account and see what offers I had available. Explained to me he could get me into a new phone and save me some money as I was on a older more expensive plan. He wasn't pushy but he got me into a new device as well as all of the accessories on a promotion. So my out of pocket was minimal. I would recommend heading to this store and speaking with Isaac for all of your wireless needs. He explained every charge and even helped me set up the Bluetooth in my car. read more

We decided to FINALLY switch to Verizon from T-Mobile and visited this location to set up our family plan. We came in about an hour and a half before closing fully expecting to find half-competent employees as was always our experience with our previous carrier. We were elated to have TONS of help from Tyler J. who was patient, generous, knowledgeable, and helpful. He set us up with great phones on a great plan and gave us some incredible deals to go along with everything. Talked to the store they said there was nothing they could do about it. I would recommend to go to a Verizon company store in silverdale or Tacoma better customer service at those stores. read more

I am changing my review based on a most recent experience at this store. Apparently it is a policy issue so this should affect all Go Wireless Verizon stores. When I purchased two IPhone 6 phones, I was given a $25 instant accessory credit with the Go Advantage plan. I did not not realize this until I went home. At the time, though, Taylor threw two Greener Cleaners in my bag and said they were "free." I thought she was just giving them to me. I did not realize they were "free" bc she was using my $25 instant accessory credit towards them. Again, i didn't realize I even had this credit bc the plan and its benefits was not explained to me. After looking at my receipt, I realized what happened. Today, I just tried to return them and to purchase an accessory that I would actually use, like a charger. However, I was told it's been over 14 days and he is literally locked out of the machine and can't process a refund, credit, or exchange. I explained that i should have been able to select my own accessory. His answer, "she probably gave you those so you would not have to pay extra on something over $25.00." Shouldn't that be up to me to decide? Now I am stuck with two accessories I will not use, I lost out on my $25 instant accessory credit, and I feel I was not given an opportunity to have what I want or need for my phone. The 14 day policy is ridiculous when all I am asking for is to exchange it for another item. In this case, a $40 charger, which would have given the store an additional $15 in purchases. I asked for a manager, which I was then told that they could not do anything either. If you buy from any Go Wireless store, be sure to know the benefits of the plan, select your own accessories, and be very aware of this 14 day policy or you will end up with items you don't want and miss out on something you could use. read more

Since I transferred this line to VZ I have had a variety of issues (successful porting; billing plan concerns and usage and billing issues) that required resolution. Although I met with other consultants I had little help. Then, I met wireless consultant, Kyle Westermann. On each occasion I found him to be extremely knowledgeable; a receptive listener; and an aggressive and patient problem solver. Kyle is the ideal customer liaison who gets results for the consumer. I recommend avoiding this place and if you do go don't trust anything they tell you. I went in wanting to know how much it would cost to upgrade my phone. After looking up my account, the salesman who also turned to be the store manager promised me that the monthly payment would increase by only $2- $10/ month and even put it in writing. I bought the phone but when I got my bill from Verizon it had increased by $27/ month. He refused to do anything when I went in there to complain. I asked for the phone number of his manager but he would only give me his email address. I emailed him but that guy never responded. Do yourself a big favor and go to a reputable dealer like Costco or maybe Best Buy or go to a Verizon store. These guys make it look like they are a Verizon store but they are not. All they care about is making a sale and will lie to you to make it happen. read more

Buyer Beware! I went in to get my cell phone problem fixed, but was unfortunately duped into purchasing a "magical box" that would fix any and all my home land line problems. (I had been having a very bad day - obviously crying from my earlier visit at my doctor's office) The sales lady put this magic box in my face and told me to take it home and just plug it in and try it. If it worked ok, then I could call her and she would port the number over and it would be hooked up. Well, I took it home and it set on my desk for over 3 weeks and then I called her and asked her if I would be charged a monthly cost if I hooked it up and had a number ported over. She said it would be $20 a month. So I thought I really don't need another bill for $20 so forget it. IMAGINE MY SUPRISE!!!!! When I get my Verizon bill with an extra $90 some tacked on to it with a brand new phone number I never new I had attached to this "MAGIC" box. Also has a 2 year commitment attached to it, $35 activation, blah, blah blah. You get the picture. All in teeny, tiny print. She never said a word about it. Seems these wonderful sales people get a nice commission to coerce people in to buying things without disclosing the full details. So now I am in a 2 year contract, will cost $175 to get out of and I receive bare minimum SSI payments per month to live on. I would NEVER have entered into another 2 year contract. My cell phone is up in May and was going to drop because I couldn't afford the payments. Stay away from this Verizon store and especially the sales lady named LORI FORT. read more
