Like if you had intended to do that maybe you should have said something instead of running to the door turning the sign and locking it and then running away. I highly would not recommend this place. Because that's just honestly not good service.

i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

Customer service especially has in my experience been far better than the other big box home improvement store in town. Selection is excellent, brands are high quality. Value is rather subjective given the lack of competition in the category of big box home improvement stores; but to my mind this one's better than the other. Frankly, I would prefer a local Hardware but they are getting pretty rare.
