Usually, I love tractor supply because of the connivence of having everything in one store but be warned about their return policy. I bought a relatively expensive pair of work gloves and within 4 days they began to tear apart and were easily sliced through, cutting my thumb. Upon attempting to return them to the store they let me know that they will not accept them because they have been used. This policy is absurd and ridiculous. Of course they were used but the problem being that they are defective and a company worth more than $26 billion can and absolutely should take responsibility for this. I have been a long time customer of tractor supply for many years but this policy is ridiculous. Apparently for their returns the product must be in a like new condition. This clearly as a ploy to resell defective or lesser quality goods back to consumers. This might seem like a small thing but the principle of the matter stands, the gloves were used for 4 days and I had the original packaging. Not to mention that my thumb was injured while wearing the gloves that claimed to be protective. Really disappointed in tractor supply and their lack of willingness to gain customer loyalty and respect, but among everything their unwillingness to make things right with a long term customer. I attempted to call and speak to a supervisor about their policy to gain some clarity but after 10 minutes of being on hold a robot answered and asked me to leave a message. read more

This is the best tractor Supply I have ever been too. They are eager to help, organized and super friendly. My cat had a tapeworm and I was confused looking at all the products and they were so helpful and knowledgeable about helping me choose. I've been to this location for chickens, cat litter, cat food, dog food, even Christmas decor. I love it. read more

Wanted a new pallet bbq. Looked online between Walmart and tractor supply. Even that Walmart was 20$ cheaper I went with TS because it was supposed to be 'next day pickup'. I went into the store to get dog food and I was hoping to make it a quick trip. Naturally, having two children with me under the age of 6 it was anything but. The lines were long and it took a while to check out. It is to be expected the day after a holiday and I was fine waiting. My children were a bit rowdy and their ability to listen and stay in one spot was waning. As I was exiting the store an older male employee asked me if I was having fun yet. He seemed amused by my children and their antics. I smiled and said "not at all". I was trying to get out of the store and he grabbed my shoulder and said "mommy, mom, mommy, mama" and he shook my shoulder multiple times while yelling mom at me. I was shocked and appalled that a staff member would see a stressed out and overstimulated mother and think it was funny to put his hands on her let alone taunt her as she trying to get out of the store with her two young children. It is never appropriate for anyone to put their hands on a customer whether it is with good intentions or not. I will never return to this store as I don't feel safe or respected. You really need to go over some professional development with your older staff members. read more

An absolute pity of a company. The customer service at the store and over the phone for customer service is no help at all. The company completely messed up my order and I needed to reach out 3 consecutive times for any action to be done. Even after I had reached out to someone to get a solution, they did the exact opposite of what I asked and left me completely stranded on what to do. This company obviously does not care about their customers from the storefront all the way up to corporate. Highly do not suggest to buy from this company. read more

We went during black friday and the line to check out was fairly long. Still, the woman who was helping us took her time and never made us feel rushed. There is a free surface parking lot and the staff will happily help you load up your purchases into your vehicle. This was my first time going to a Tractor Supply. It's a funny store - they sell Carhartts and stall mats, as well as, jewelry and cologne!!!! LOL! read more

This place is a travesty of customer service and human decency. Several weeks ago, I submitted a less than favorable review to TSC's website because of their customer service. Got a call from an "agent" while I was in a meeting. She sent me an email asking about a good time to talk about my review. I gave her 5 windows of time over the next 24 hours. Never got a call. I sent another email offering more time blocks to talk. Nothing. Tonight I was there to by cat food and hay. As usual, I was standing in a line of 4 people and only one cashier. The man working cashier was waiting on an older Caucasian lady. She had, what seemed like, a dozen or so cans of pet food in her canvas bag. Standing behind her were two black teenagers looking to purchase a few small items. The cashier was very meticulous in pulling each can of pet food out of the ladies bag. Very slowly. He would ring one can up and then engage in conversation before pulling the next can out. As he pulled out each can, he glared at the teenagers behind the Caucasian lady. He was pretty obvious with what he was trying to do. After 5 minutes of watching this, I put my bag of cat food on his counter and walked out. This place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Don't even get me started on their "Hay Barn" service. It's Wilco from now on. read more

This is clearly a dying store. I've driven by many times when it was obvious the majority of few cars parked in the parking lot were employee-owned cars. Today was no exception. I actually walked in the store this afternoon to check out a canopy that was on sale. And I saw a sign of bad things to come even before I walked in the door. There's a long walkway up to the front door that can be approached from two sides. On the side I was on there was a long yellow chain that had just been tossed on the pavement from whatever it had been securing. Problem was the chain had been left lying very close to where customers would have to walk past it. This was the first sign of a lack of concern or for customers or care about how the store looked. Whoever had flung or dropped the chain to its current position could have easily tossed it back against the building, out of the way of customers passing it on foot. They chose not to. Inside the store there was only one or two other customers besides me. SEVERAL female sales associates were wandering around and NONE of them approached me to ask if they could help me find something. Here I am pushing a shopping cart and being totally ignored. I made an entire circuit of the store with not one approach. It's clear that management is non-existent and the ladies working in the store aren't happy. Working a minimum wage job in an unsuccessful store that I think will close within a year or so will do that to you. So, I had to ask an associate about to walk past me about the canopy on sale. From her body language I could tell I had interrupted whatever she would rather be doing. A little background: the canopy is on the sales flyer that was delivered in today's mail but she didn't know anything about it. And as she was talking, she never stopped walking away from me. She walked over to a cash register and, not finding the new flyer, walked away from me, never telling me where she was going, if I should follow her or wait for her return. I followed her partway to the back where she disappeared behind an employees only door, coming back apparently after not finding the canopy in stock. She walked up to me and then...past me again. She walked over to a cash register, again with me following, and called another associate who knew nothing about the canopy on sale either. Then she said, "They're always doing this to us." This is how I know that the associates at that store are as demoralized and uncaring about customer service as I intuited from her body language. So, she looks online for the canopy and finds that in most of the stores it's out of stock. I'm looking at the screen and I see that out of 28 reviews, the canopy is rated only 2 stars. She tells me that the canopy should be in the store for Memorial Day weekend but she wasn't sure. I could either get a rain check or order it online and she THOUGHT it might ship to the store for free. However, after seeing the 2 star rating, I decided I'm passing on the deal. The last time I was in a store where the smell of impending death was this permeable was in a K-Mart store that was shortly to be closed down. I've noticed that there are only 3 other reviews for this store, all positive. Let's just say that my shopping experience today greatly differs from theirs. I won't set foot in this store again. read more

Frequently find myself here. Even tough it is a chain store, the people that work here make it feel like something more. I enjoy finding the farm and garden things I can't find at the box store or other home type stores. I can find everything from dog toys and food to chicken feed dispensers and galvanized cans for storing seeds and grains, and yes, you can find tractor parts and accessories here. Let's not forget fencing, you know you need fencing to keep those goats in the yard! In spring, I can get chicks or ducklings and all year round, you can find livestock feed! Great people, good place to shop and fair prices (maybe you could find things for less elsewhere, but the convenience of getting it all at one place is... sometimes worth the extra. I'm a happy customer. Even my dog likes it here. :) read more

It's always a long, drawn out, and painful experience to visit Tractor Supply. I really want to like this place, but all of the other reviews are true. Every time I've gone I see about 6 employees total in the store, with only one cashier checking out a very slow moving line. No one seems to be around to answer questions or help find product, and many products are not priced. Super annoying. read more

I have had a many shopping experiences at Tractor Supply. From Propane fills during a Port Orchard Power outage to Fence posts and gates. I purchased a pellet stove, and after a year had issues with the fire box, After trying to get hold of the manufacture for over 2 weeks, ONE trip to the store resulted in the problem solved. On the spot, right there, I was looking for contact information from the manufacturer, I received the replacement part right then and there. Not every experience has been flawless. but they went out of their way to help me when the manufacture could not be contacted for over 2 weeks. This when customer service counts the most. We were parked on the curbside to return an irragation pump that didn't work, we parked where there was not a no parking sign, and there wasn't a red curb to signify that there was a firetruck lane, and a man with long hair came in the store telling us that a man outside was gonna have our truck towed and if we didnt move it that it was going to be impounded. about 10 minutes later we call the manager of this tractor supply and he goes on to explain that management are the only people the can have trucks towed, and they advertise curbside delivery/pick up. I would not do any curbside pick up/ delivery. read more

What is wrong with the management??!! A feed store that more often than not has; 1) no availability of the feeds that they say they have in store, online, no shavings/ bedding, and no watering/feeding supplies in stock. 2) If they do happen to have the feed (that it says they have available in the store, online), then there's no prices posted. Then they say, "I'm sorry", after you spent an hour of your time driving there and trying to figure out if the product is available. Well, you are sorry. A very sorry example of management of a feed store. 3) When I attempt to order online and simply avoid the very crappy store management, they want to charge me to ship the merchandise to their store to pick it up! That's me picking it up at their store! Conclusion: The only reason Port Orchard Tractor Supply Company can manage to stay in business is because they literally have no competition. The prices are really good here, and their ranch and fencing sections are incredible. But the store needs help. It feels like their corporate headquarters have overlooked them for a remodel for a long time. Sections of the ceiling are falling apart, the aisles are dingy and weathered and the building could use some love. The staff was friendly and the prices were great. I was there to get some propane tanks filled. I rang the buzzer by the fill area and announcement went out for someone to come out and fill my tanks. After about 5 minutes I rang the buzzer again and the announcement went out again. After another 5 minutes I went into the store and inquired why I could not get anyone out to fill my tanks. A manager was right there dealing with a contractor with a uniform company. He did not even acknowledge me. The cashier asked another employee to please go out and help me. I went out to wait some more,after some time went by I noticed the employee came out to move shopping carts. I proceeded to ask him if he could help. He ignored me so I told him I would be writing this review and he said he was sorry but he could not help me. This is very bad service, I was planning on going in to buy some items, but just left. read more
