I am very disappointed in the mechanics and customer service. I took my Karcher pressure washer to…read morethem because we were having an issue with the "pressure." I should have been wary initially when they called my husband on 6/19/17 to say they were unable to start it. He showed up, asked to give it a try and after pulling the choke, it started up on the first pull. As a mechanic, how to do forget to pull the choke? Okay, be that as it may, we figured they still knew more than we did on how to fix the pressure issue so left it there to be repaired. We get a call a little while later saying it's fixed, $71.94 later and for 45 minutes of their time, I was told when I picked it up that the fitting was on backwards, but otherwise it was "a good little machine" by the mechanic. We took it home to test it. First pull of the trigger, pressure was fine and it remained fine so long as you didn't take your hand off of the trigger, but if you took your hand off the trigger, no pressure. I was annoyed that I was charged for 45 minutes of time to turn a fitting around that likely took 5 minutes or less and the exact same problem we took it in for remained. I waited a week and a half to decide what I was going to do about it, then called when I took a second look at their invoice which stated "30 DAY WARRANTY PARTS AND LABOR WORK DONE." I assumed that this would be easy, make a call, and they would say, "Bring it back, we'll take a look." But, no... I was told by the mechanic that took my call that it worked fine when they had it. I asked them how they tested it and was told that they they used their own gun and ran it for a couple of minutes without issue. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me it was probably MY gun or MY water pressure because it worked fine for him. I told him, same problem at two different homes with two different water systems. He then proceeded to blame it on my gun. I'm fuming by now, because if you had my pressure washer for less than 10 minutes for a pressure issue, but never tested MY gun and instead used your own AND charged me for 45 minutes, WHY DID YOU NOT TEST MY GUN? The mechanic then advised that 45 minutes was their minimum billing. I wasn't getting anywhere with the mechanic so ended the call and went on my own quest to find the source of my pressure washer pressure problem and found it here: https://youtu.be/WfUcXlBZRxk. My pressure washer is now fixed BY ME and cost me about 10 cents or less in white lithium grease and about 15 minutes of my time, including fully testing it. If I left it up to the mechanic's advice it'd be out another $30 for a new gun. Small Engine Clinic, you need mechanics that know what they're doing and will also take responsibility for failing to properly make the requested repair, which I paid for. Now the real test is what will you do to make this right?

I have been taking my Toro mower here to be serviced for years and would never take it anywhere…read moreelse. I believe they are an authorized Toro shop, and in every instance when I have dealt with them, they do a great job - very thorough. They also provide me with details of what they have done, explain how I can help myself keep things running well, and the turnaround time is very reasonable. I will say that sometimes the price for service seems a bit steep, but it has been many years since I have checked what other shops charge, so maybe they are competitive in that regard. I'm too happy with the quality of service to worry very much about that!

I buy fun stuff like computer peripherals and Norton 360 here since Staples always has the best price--especially for Norton. But anyway, we were in the store today, found everything we needed but boy! did we get a surprise at checkout. Robert, our cashier, brought up my wife's account and announced that, thanks to the unredeemed points we'd built up on her Easy Rewards program, not only were we getting a THIRTY-SIX DOLLAR discount, but we had an additional $20 off added to the account. And talk about your perfect timing--today was the last day of that deal!!! Robert's boss Virgil, who'd been standing nearby, explained how we'd qualified for all that savings and why it was important to check the app. OK, we don't but if we did, we wouldn't have gotten that great surprise. You could see and hear how happy he, along with Robert, was that the store could award us these savings. So Robert, thank you for being our early Santa on these few days before Christmas. You really made our day. Here's wishing Santa is as generous to you and yours as you and Staples were to us.

The consultant told us that the blinds came with a lifetime warranty, in case anything went wrong. Just over a year later, and we weren't even at the home for 4 months of the year, the right side of one of the roll-up blinds drooped, making it uneven across the bottom portion you pull down. We would like to have it inspected and repaired. It was then we learned that to have someone look at it and fix this drooping high-quality $1,350 blind would cost us another $125! I spoke with the manager who told me all about how they are a service business, but he said he would come take a look at it. He and another guy came. They said they had to take the blind to have it repaired. He wanted his $125. We reluctantly paid. He calls some days later and tells me the blind cannot be fixed, and he will order another one and call when it comes in. I get the call. He tells me they can install, AND it will cost me another $125. What the !! I told him I wasn't going to pay him another $125 because it is under a lifetime warranty, and it just made it passed a year. We picked up the new blind. I do not recommend anyone buy blinds from Budget Blinds. I STRONGLY URGE anyone wanting blinds to look elsewhere. BUDGET BLINDS IN POULSBO DOES NOT PROVIDE QUALITY.

Unfortunately in the midst of my painting project they lost the only 'can-do' person they had on staff. The remaining people (Lindsey and Justin in particular) have been consistent in their 'can't do' attitude. I am 6 months pregnant and repainting my entire condo, so I needed the Ben line of zero-VOC paint, which this location has decided not to stock. Elle wanted to get my business, and I was ordering ~$600-700 of paint at their prices, so she offered to bring the paint over from their Poulsbo location. After that I needed a couple more unanticipated cans, and Justin and Lindsey acted as roadblocks to me getting those. Justin just couldn't be bothered to get them sent over to the Bainbridge location, but Lindsey was incredibly rude and literally talked over me for long periods of time when I was trying to explain how this effected my project. I can't imagine treating a paying customer the way I was treated here. In the end, I had to drive over to Poulsbo, which isn't the worst thing in the world (just took a big chunk out of my painting day), but being disrespected the way I was by Lindsey was really upsetting and inexcusable.
