Unfortunately in the midst of my painting project they lost the only 'can-do' person they had on staff. The remaining people (Lindsey and Justin in particular) have been consistent in their 'can't do' attitude. I am 6 months pregnant and repainting my entire condo, so I needed the Ben line of zero-VOC paint, which this location has decided not to stock. Elle wanted to get my business, and I was ordering ~$600-700 of paint at their prices, so she offered to bring the paint over from their Poulsbo location. After that I needed a couple more unanticipated cans, and Justin and Lindsey acted as roadblocks to me getting those. Justin just couldn't be bothered to get them sent over to the Bainbridge location, but Lindsey was incredibly rude and literally talked over me for long periods of time when I was trying to explain how this effected my project. I can't imagine treating a paying customer the way I was treated here. In the end, I had to drive over to Poulsbo, which isn't the worst thing in the world (just took a big chunk out of my painting day), but being disrespected the way I was by Lindsey was really upsetting and inexcusable.

The prices were about the same as the hardware store but I got the right thing the first time. When I messed up part of the painting process they gave me, for free, the supplies I needed to fix the problem. They let me return a used $50 can of primer that my wife bought, before we got advice, because it worked for her sister so it should have worked for us. It did not. The issue is that we ordered a specific quantity but by the time we could get to the store to pick up the stain they had sold 2 of the 8 gallons ordered. This puts us in a bind because we can't get more stain in time. This is truly poor customer service. I don't know why you would sell stain from a customer's order.
