Come to find out they didn't have the exact gallon of paint I needed. So I ended up having to drive all the way to Burien. The Tukwila store needs to get their act together! All the shelves were bare and empty. And they need to hire more help or something! This is why I will not buy or use Sherwin-Williams paint!!!! I will only use Benjamin Moore, I can stop into any of Mallory's Benjamin Moore store and everyone knows me and does what ever they can to help get my out the door with what I need ASAP

Recently went to Sherwin Williams after seeing a beautiful paint color on the feed of an Instagram…read moreredecoration project. I found the local store (since apparently Home Depot doesn't carry this brand). The clerk was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to get a sample of the color to ensure it was what I wanted. I was informed that they were "out" of samples, but that I could buy the full can and if I didn't like I could come in and exchange it. Kinda sounds like a scam, I still had to pay for a full gallon as opposed to a small sample.

I appreciate the welcoming environment that was provided and will be back again for future projects.

This is an update even though we have not used this store in years…read more I am still annoyed when I think of the aftermath of what happened years ago when we painted our house. One side had some bubbling in the paint. It looked awful. We called in the manufacturer's rep and he made every excuse in the world. It was too sunny.--No, the paint was applied on an overcast day, with no rain or hot weather. The painter did not know what he was doing--No, he had painted our house twice before and nothing like this happened. The preparation was bad--No, the painter washed down the house and then waited several weeks for it to dry. What the manufacture's rep failed to mention was that the new formulation they were using should not have been used over oil based paint, which they could no longer sell. I had my doubts about the paint when I bought it but they assured me that it would work (not in writing, though). The painter came back and fixed the problem, but I can no longer recommend Benjamin Moore paint, and certainly not this store, unless they have changed management. I like Behr interior paint from Home Depot so next time maybe we will try Behr.

Since the pandemic and paint shortage, a lot of the paint bases I wanted were either not produced or sold out, but Kyle kept me as a customer because he helps find alternatives and gives great deals. I have certainly been in the store when there was a wait, but also when I'm the only customer there. I've never felt like the employees were rude or anything less than courteous and helpful. When they didn't have what I needed in store they were able to send me to Renton Sherwin-Williams where it was in stock and even went to the trouble of calling the store to ensure that the inventory system was correct and asked them to set it aside for me. I've painted multiple rooms of our house and done a few furniture projects in the last 2-3 years buying paint from this store, and I can say that I will continue to go here first
