I've been a Verizon customer for nine years, have currently four phones on my family plan and added a fifth for me. Since I received this new phone, I had issues with connection and the overall service of data. Had the phone for approximately 50 days and have been on the phone with Verizon customer service for literally 11 to 12 different occurrences trying to resolve my issue. Yesterday my dad and I had a really bad experience with the manager of the store Daniel Flores sadly we all spoke the same language and he was still really rude to us saying he couldn't attend us and that it had to be someone that spoke English knowing that the whole reason we asked for him was because he was the only one who spoke Spanish so my dad could understand him his excuse was that he had to leave but the whole time we were waiting that was 4 hours in a half and he did not leave made me believe that he didn't want to attend us or help us in any way This was not the first time he was rude to us that's the whole reason why I'm fighting a review since I know people have bad days But we love Verizon but that's store management is horrible never going back to that store since they don't even try to work with you By the way his name is Daniel Flores read more

Horrible customer service skills. We went in to this Verizon store to simply do a return and we waited for over 40 mins with no help nor apology for the wait. When we waiting were told someone was going to be right with us. There was a lack of communication with how long we will have to wait. There was only 1 person ahead of us. That was helped, left and we were still waiting. Workers were going in and out to the back. Workers were literally just standing around and could have used the time to communicate with us and apologize for the wait. I understand that they were busy. But the guy who was "checking in people" could have communicated and kept us informed of the wait time. Instead he was standing in a computer avoiding eye contact to the customers waiting. read more

Sadly the manager at this store went way above to be rude. Not only would he not listen to the issue I was having with my account, he made sure he let me know he would NOT help and there was nothing he could do. I was told by customer service on the phone that since I did not have a pin number to get into my account, I would have to go to a Verizon store and show them my ID, so they could verify I was the account holder. I went to the Yorkville store and was told I had to go to corporate. I went to the Oswego store and the employee said that wasn't true and she couldn't help. When I asked to speak to a manger, this guy comes out and was already annoyed. I asked if we could call customer service together and he said no..."we are talking in circles and I can't do anything about it". Funny....I then went to the corporate store in Naperville and guess what....Veronica C. got customer service on the phone and tried to help!! (And she wasn't even a manager!) We had a great experience! My family and I were looking for new phones and a new carrier. Joseph answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. He was very friendly and professional to the entire family. Joseph even came in on his day off to finalize the sale. His manager Vikas was very friendly too and checked on us a couple times to see how things were going. I walked in and was immediately chastised by the gentleman with the salt and pepper hair and was talked down to numerous other times when I asked if I could add my number onto my wife's account. He then walked away from my wife and I when I asked for clarification on what he was explaining. Absolutely hands down the worst customer service I have experienced with Verizon. We placed an online order which was not fulfilled by a near by indirect Verizon store. We went back the following day, waited over three hours and nothing was resolved. We came to the Verizon corporate store in Oswego and everyone was so nice, welcoming and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of working with Mike, he listened to what we needed, found us the right phones and got us on a plan that works for our family. There were issues regarding our previous order which was causing a delay in porting our numbers over, however the manager Jessica, along with Mike promptly got all the issues taken care of. Terrible customer service, manager is rude and does not know Verizon policies and procedures. I purchased a new phone and determined that it did not work out of the box properly. The manager refused to take the phone back and replace it with another new one; he said we were on our own and had to send the new phone in to Verizon. This whole process was a mess. . . I was not treated with dignity and respect! Do not give this store your business, you will regret it if you do! Ultimately we had to go to Indiana to take the phone back and get Verizon corporate involved as the Oswego Verizon store kept some of our down payment and took our $700 trade in amount instead of putting it towards our new phone. First trip to this store we got misinformed about the current promotions and missed the one we wanted. When we came back the security officer working there was very rude. Once one of the associates came out he said that only one of us was allowed to be in the store. We told him we were wanting to get on a new plan together and purchase new phones. He still had an issue with us both coming in, even though we would both be required to sign for a new account. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. I visited this store today. My son was looking to price a phone. We were greeted and helped when we entered the store. The customer service was great. My son ended up purchasing a phone there. I was helped to select a Bluetooth headset for my phone. Crystal helped us and the other employees allowed us to work with the same person. The only negative was we got the phone home and the iphone would not charge pass 6%. I am confident the issue will be resolved in the morning. read more

Horrible customer service experience. I have 4 lines of service and was ready to cancel all after my one experience walking into this store and dealing with the young flippant, disrespectful and condescending staff of young people. Staff refused to make a simple call to Verizon Corporate to straighten out a simple credit on my account towards an upgrade. All 4 employees literally stood around looking down at their phones while I called and waited on hold to straighten out something they could have done easily. This was despite asking several times for them to make a simple phone call as I stated out loud "the customer shouldn't have to make this call, you should". Of course this was after the manager tried to sell me a phone for more money, so maybe he didn't like it that I told him I didn't want that offer. In the end after I called Verizon corporate myself from the store, I walked out with the phone I originally asked for including the discount despite being told they couldn't help me the moment I walked in. Overall unhelpful Unless you want to sign a new 2 year contract the employees completely disregard you. I went in trying to see what could be done to reduce my monthly bill and the rep there gave me a higher monthly estimate than what I'm currently paying. On another occasion I had a technical issue with my phone and went into this store, there were 7 reps standing around doing nothing 3 were txting only 1 person asked me how they could help. This place is terrible, a complete waste of time, awful customer service. Employees should be trained on courtesy as well knowledge... Don't waste your time going to this store. While it may look appealing and have a nice variety of phones, the customer service is extremely poor.. I went in store with my father to upgrade to a new phone and received absolutely no help from the employees. I have worked in sales with clients for over 5 years and know firsthand that to walk into a store and hear "no" or "there's nothing we can do for you" from the "trained" employees is by far the complete opposite way a customer should be treated. What a way to repel a potential sale. Even if the upgrade was not possible, the employees could have gone as far as suggesting other options and/or advice so that I could leave with a phone that very day or in a pleasant mood, at the very least. The worst part is that the upgrade that was "not offered" and simply just not "available" on the edge program for my phone because its charging dock was not functional actually WAS AVAILABLE. I had asked if perhaps another line with a functional phone could be upgraded on Verizon's edge program and transferred onto my phone number and was told "no"; however, after looking at my account online, it is absolutely possible. Not only was the store manager not helpful, but he was also incorrect and spoke with such a rude and arrogant tone, completely speaking over my voice as if his word was final and superior. The customer service may be breezy for a new customer who is looking to get a new phone and Verizon account. For those who have been customers of Verizon for awhile and are looking to upgrade or help with their phones, do not look here unless you want to leave unhappy. read more

Hi guys, I'm going to say flat out HORRIBLE,WORST,CONDESCENDING CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AT THIS LOCATION!!!! We have 3 lines with Verizon Wireless and I have had some technical issues with my phone here and there with sound on my phone!!! I have the I phone 10 MAX which is still under warranty because it has not been a full year since my purchase. Mind you this phone was a little over a $1000 bucks, I also pay for the insurance on my phone so therefore if there is an issue and especially if it's still under the 1 YEAR WARRANTY!!! Why wouldn't I expect to get a NEW PHONE!!! This very disrespectful guy named DANIEL had the ABSOLUTE AUDACITY TO SAY TO ME " Well if your having an issue with your phone I would think that you would just rather have something that is REFURBISHED than something that is not working "!!!! Here is the PROBLEM "PEOPLE " if I had purchased my phone refurbished at a much lower price then fine I could accept that!!! But I DID NOT DO THAT!!! My phone was purchased brand new and has never even been taken out of its Otter box case with the exception of me taking it to BEST BUY for a screen cover!!! He has absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL!!! They only have smiles on their faces if you are purchasing something because that is a COMMISSION FOR THEM!!! For some odd reason I have had my Verizon account for two years with never going over my Data amount . Now in the last 3 months I'am using the last 25% of my data in the last 4 to 6 days before my plan restarts . Been in there explained I don't download , watch movies, seldom use the internet . I have unlimited text and phone . All they want to do is sell me there unlimited data plan . Personally I think Verizon are a butch of crooks and at this point I'm going to cancel my account . My daughter and I visited the store on Sunday, March 29 with the intent to upgrade an existing mobile phone. We currently have a family plan with five active devices. In the interest of time, we thought that a store visit would be beneficial versus ordering online. The sales rep found no eligible programs for us. There was an early Edge qualifier, however, our phone was broken. Fair - we understood! When we asked about other options, the store manager - Tim O'Neal - advised that we visit the Apple store and look into fixing our phone. Tim's attitude, tone of voice and level of service were unacceptable. As far as his attitude, he was quite confrontational. When I arrived home, to my surprise, My Verizon online, offered a multitude of early, discounted upgrades. As a result, I upgraded an old number that belonged to an outdated Blackberry to a new iPhone 6. While appreciating that certain things cannot be done in store, I would have welcomed Tim's recommendation to visit the webpage for more options. I have been a Verizon customer for more than 15 years. The reputation of the company is as good as the guy that works for it.
