I am a recent AU graduate and will be traveling to South Korea in a month to study abroad for 3 months. I have just recently paid off my old phone (IPhone 11 Pro Max) and was wondering if there was any way to purchase the 13 Pro Max and have it temporarily unlocked for the three months that I would be gone since I purchased a korean SIM card. A few months ago I spoke to a representative on the phone who let me know that this was possible. When I arrived at the store I was greeted kindly and Stacy let me know that unfortunately this was not the case. However, she let me know that TMobile does have an international plan where I would get 5GB of data and unlimited text internationally monthly for only a $15 Add on to my current plan. In the end, I decided to just purchase the iPhone13 Pro Max and do a $300 down payment, as a means to bring down my monthly payments while I'm gone. When Stacey brought out my new phone I noticed that she also brought out a $40 screen protector that I did not ask for and she never asked if I was interested in. At first I didn't think much of it but when she was about to charge me I asked her if this was included and she said "no." Again, I never asked nor even SAID I needed the protector. She then took it away and magically my total went down. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted to purchase their phone insurance to which I again said "No" to. A couple of minutes go by and she is setting up my phone. Mind you as someone who has worked customer service for over 8 years I had zero complaints about her service. She was nice, and tried making small talk with me as well, so no complaints there. But then she tells me "So I went ahead and put the insurance on your phone so that you are insured while you're in Korea, just give me a call when you return so we can cancel it." This made me kind of upset, since I just told her that 1. I DID NOT WANT IT, 2. I'm a study abroad student who will not be working for 3 months... I don't need to be paying $75 per month while I am away I'm already paying $60. At that point it had been over an hour since the setup process takes some time and I had a bunch of errands to run, so I just figured I'd call TMobile later during the day and have it removed. AND THANK GOD I DID! When I called the customer service line a representative named Seth very graciously helped me out. When I let him know what happened he apologized and when I mentioned the $15 international plan he let me know that they actually had NOT signed me up for that plan, but instead for one where I could make International calls FROM the US to other countries. Which would have been incredibly unhelpful since I told them I needed data IN KOREA. So I would use the internet IN KOREA. If I had not made that call then I would have been totally screwed half way across the world in a country without any data/Wi-Fi or any way to get around.

There was no notification on my app when I said I was on my way and I live 10 minutes from here. There was no rain, thunder or lighting when I arrived. I called to ask if someone could help me and they still said no. I was there to get formula and I was completely out so turning away was not an option. I had to go in with my toddler and carry out my order by myself due to a policy. I guess kindness doesn't exist at this store considering they can't even help a pregnant woman out to her car. I'm grateful to the gentleman who witnessed me in the store and helped me with my cart afterwards. Shame that a random stranger helped me for free but people paid to do it can't.

The turnaround time has also been outstanding. I've dropped of my laptop in the afternoon and was able to pick it up the following day. How I found Gigabyte PC was a referral from a tech. guy who works for one of the major office supply stores because they could not fix the problem. This was the best referral I've received for service. You can't go wrong when it comes to electronic repair when you visit Gigabyte PC on Randall Road in Aurora IL.

I went into the store and he actually did own up to it and assured me it was now taken care of. I get my next bill and of course it still wasn't taken care of. I called the 800 and was told there was no record of it being handled. I then called again to speak to a manager and he tells me "well that's just too bad because I didn't witness the conversation and neither one of my encounters was documented and he would not fix it. I will NEVER do business with this company again. I will pay off these phones and get as far away from T-mobile as possible. Thank God I did not go in this coming weekend and get the 3 new phones that I was planning on buying. They lost a lot of money for having such horrible customer service. You need to go ahead and look at the fine print if you're buying the Groupon for their deal. You will be paying more than the $129 that is stated. It says in the fine print that there are additional charges for different parts and additional features to make your vehicle work. You will NOT get out of there with a $129 fee and a complete package with keyless entry, remote start, remote trunk release, and depending on what type of vehicle it as if it's domestic or foreign. On the average you'll probably pay around $180 average for a basic remote start package with keyless entry. My advice to you is call Gorilla Sound first before you buy the Groupon. Ask them questions about what will be installed on your vehicle, how much it will cost to give you an idea of what you're going to be paying for. It does take a couple of hours for the installation to be done so you can either drop off your vehicle or they have a waiting room with seating, a big screen tv, water, coffee bar. I usually bring my tablet/book and stay there while the work is being done.

I also took my old truck there about a year ago and they installed the sub I brought with the amp they supplied, and it worked flawlessly with a bass control right by my stereo. Will soon be bringing in my 23' escape for speaker upgrades also adding 2 tweeters in the back.
