Have never messed up My car audio. When i was a teenager i took my 2016 ford focus in for full swaps of my speakers and a powerful subwoofer. They gave me my stick ones back. I also took my old truck there about a year ago and they installed the sub I brought with the amp they supplied, and it worked flawlessly with a bass control right by my stereo. I bought a sound system for Honda Pilot from Gorilla Sound. They did a very nice job on the installation. I spent over $2,000 on the system and installation. The salesman noticed my work gear and asked about my place of employment. He inquired about the location and how I liked working there. He was very friendly and talkative individual. The installation was flawless and the I really enjoyed the system for the two days I had the system in my car. My car is always parked in a very out of the way area and I have tinted windows; no one would know I have a nice system in my car. Interestingly enough, the entire system was stolen out of my vehicle. I have no doubt the salesman had some of his buddies come and steal the system out of my car. Insurance covered it but they destroyed my dash and it was a real pain to have everything repaired. Gorilla Sound.....I would take a pass. It seems to a be very shady outfit. read more

Gorilla Sound does professional installation of remote auto starters. I've had them work on 5 of my own vehicles and they've all done quality work. You need to go ahead and look at the fine print if you're buying the Groupon for their deal. You will be paying more than the $129 that is stated. It says in the fine print that there are additional charges for different parts and additional features to make your vehicle work. You will NOT get out of there with a $129 fee and a complete package with keyless entry, remote start, remote trunk release, and depending on what type of vehicle it as if it's domestic or foreign. On the average you'll probably pay around $180 average for a basic remote start package with keyless entry. My advice to you is call Gorilla Sound first before you buy the Groupon. Ask them questions about what will be installed on your vehicle, how much it will cost to give you an idea of what you're going to be paying for. It does take a couple of hours for the installation to be done so you can either drop off your vehicle or they have a waiting room with seating, a big screen tv, water, coffee bar. I usually bring my tablet/book and stay there while the work is being done. read more

I didn't even get to experience this place because I bought an automatic start for my car from this place and when I called to set up an appointment they wanted to charge me almost $300 more so essentially I wasted my money. When I told the man on the phone that my car wasn't a push start he told me I was wrong and it was a smart start car. I told him I wasn't going to pay the extra money and he laughed and said ok like he had zero customer service skills and was rude. Save your money and don't purchase from this place. I was very excited about this auto start and now I've just lost out on a decent bit of money. I bought it through Groupon and once I said that his whole attitude changed. STAY AWAY !!!! Bait and switch.I bought a full $1200 alpine system .I was given $8.99 spl sp.1 tweeters instead of alpine . Alpine cost 79.99 EACH . No resoultion was made . When I called to reschedule that appointment they acted as if they didn't have any appointments ever again for me available. When asked if they wanted me to reschedule or if they wanted my business they said oh yeah sure as an afterthought. I was told since I had already rescheduled 5 times maybe not. I had previously upgraded the speakers in my 2012 F150 pickup and now I wanted to replace the original radio. I went to Gorilla Sound and they installed a Pioneer head unit with a touch screen, and later a compact Kicker subwoofer. What an improvement. I am blown away! The people at Gorilla Sound were fantastic. They installed the unit in a couple of hours while I waited. When I returned a few days later to purchase the subwoofer, they gave me a great deal on it. The installation was perfect. It looks like it is original equipment, not an aftermarket install. They explained the operation of the unit and helped me set everything up. I wanted to use my IPod classic as my music source. They surprised me and installed a USB cable in the glovebox. Now I can listen to music and my IPod is safe and out of sight. I am completely satisfied with the equipment they installed, and especially appreciative of their excellent service. I highly recommend Gorilla Sound. P.S. - they also install other aftermarket upgrades such as window tinting, LED lights, remotes and various other tweaks that improve your driving experience. read more

After everything was completed and paid for, they called me back and said they had erroneously installed extra equipment in my car (beyond what they prescribed, I ordered and paid for), and tried to get me to pay extra for it! I can't tell whether they really installed any extra equipment or not! Everything works like they told me at the beginning. Sounds very fishy...! I've had an in-dash system out in my 2006 Mercedes, a radio put in my 2006 Subaru Forester and a radio and a drop-down DVD player put in my 2002 Chevrolet Express 1500 conversion van. They also did some repair work on the van to a system they didn't install. I've been completely satisfied every time. I suspect their prices are a little higher then the big box stores, but I know the quality of installation and service is better. I have recommended these guys and would go back again. read more

After having my care Towed twice and repalcing a burnt out ingnition switch caused by the above at a cost of 662.00 dollars id say this was a 722 dollar lesson on why to NOT GO TO GORILLA SOUND. When Gorilla sound was contacted they wanted to see the installation unfortunatly the Radio had to be removed for the car to run due to the electrical shorts when asked for a refund they refused and when asked about repairs they said it wasn't their installation. I ordered speakers for my dash and they didn't fit(cause of depth) and when Gorilla sound tried to install them they couldn't and ending Up breaking them and charging me 50$!!! instead of not charging me at all for breaking my stuff they just put the old ones back on and tuned my amp. WOW. they also charged me 80$ and "claimed" to have put sound filters on my car and now there's a "'white noise" coming from my speakers which was NOT THERE before that they claimed was "normal". that's insane! btw i had to pay 30$ for freight reduction and restocking fee on 50$ speakers(AND they didn't even tell me they broke them. i found out the next day when i opened the package before i shipped them back). SO SHADY! Sergio treated me like a complete idiot. They RIPPED ME OFF hard and caused me GREAT STRESS. WARNING please listen to my post and do not fund this shady establishment. I have had nothing but good experiences at Gorilla Sound. The owners/workers are all really friendly and knowledgeable. I have had taken several cars there to get window tint. 2004 mazda rx8, 2000 civic, 2005 roush, i will be taking my jetta, and f150 there when I get a chance. They use high quality tint taht never fades or turns purple from sun. I have had several friends go their for car audio and prices are great and reasonable. Definitely a good local store to check out for stuff you need done, or parts you need to do your own audio systems. read more

If i didnt have to give them at least one star i wouldnt! There not cheaper than the rest, they just sell cheap chinese CRAP. They are flexible on the price because they jack up the floor price to what name brand things cost. Sure, they have SOME name brand thinks. Amp, all they have is kole audio and want 200 for a 980w amp that costs 80 elsewhere and 980 is fake, its rms is about 400, hmm 400w amp for 200? They also have no return policy, and often use floor models to sell to you. Upon installation, they broke my neon light, side panel clip, door trim, and plastics. They damaged $120 in my car that they just sat and denied. Upon calm confrontation they proceeded by calling my friend a piece of shit. And he was just standing in the corner. The only way i got my money back was by telling off all his costumers from buying there. Then they threatened to kick our a$$e$. I purchased a set of speakers on 4-2-2010. Renegade Model # RX6.2C. on the receipt it says 2 weeks for warranty. today is 4-13-2010. I had stopped by for a replacement (the speakers started to act up, blown) they said it was abuse and not covered. I had them hooked up to an amplifier rated at 50wattsX4. The speakers are rated at 100watts RMS/200 peak. This is not abuse, this is selling a sub par product that is falsely rated. Finally the "installer" went to talk with the owner. He came back and said they could send them out for a charge of $30.00. I left, telling them that I would not be back. read more
