It isn't often I leave reviews, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to share my exceptional experience with Michael and The TV Pro. My mother passed away recently, and my siblings and I wanted to get our dad something special for Christmas. While nothing we buy him could make up for my mother's passing, we decided to replace his outdated, awkwardly dinky tv mounted over his fireplace with a new, much larger one. The tv was to be delivered to my dad's house but got cancelled due to an impending winter storm. If we wanted it by Christmas, we'd have to pick it up ourselves. (That was if I could even find someone to install it before the New Year.) Thankfully, I remembered saving Michael's number after hiring to mount a tv in my own home. He was so kind and knowledgeable, I made a note to hire his company again in the future. Michael immediately remembered my job and promised to do whatever he could, not only schedule-permitting but also depending on the snowstorm. When I told him we may need to scrap the whole idea until after the holidays, bc the tv was too large to fit in my car, he offered to pick it up for us. Once again, Michael mounted the new tv quickly and efficiently, making sure everything was completely set-up and easy to use for our dad. After he was finished, I asked how much I owed him. HE WOULDN'T LET ME PAY A DIME! Not only did he pick-up the tv for us, install it quickly, as well as include a brand new mount, he said he wanted to gift it to my father, seeing how this Christmas would be a difficult one for him. The more I insisted, the more he refused. Needless to say, my dad wept as I told him the story, and all he could say was, "What a nice, nice man. Thank God to him." At a time when it feels like humanity and compassion are no longer an integral part of doing business, how extraordinary to find such kindness and generosity in strangers. Tip: buy your brackets online to avoid a crazy mark up. My bracket was about half of what TV Pros supply. So I only paid for the $275 for labor. When making appointments they will give you a 2 hour window. My appointment was between 4-6. I received a phone text saying they can make it at 3;30. I needed a 75" TV mounted above a fireplace about 7 feet high. TV Pro (Mike) quoted me a reasonable price to come out to Naperville. I ordered a heavy duty TV mount online and scheduled Mike to come on Saturday 12/1. My mount was delayed a few days in the mail and I had to cancel the appointment -- Mike was very flexible and understanding about the situation. Mount arrived on Monday 12/3, I texted Mike, and he was able to accommodate me the same day at the last minute. His team showed up, put on shoe covers (awesome), and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. Mike even carried his tool cart by hand instead of rolling it on my hardwood floors because it tracked a little mud in the rain. The TV looks great and work was quick.
