I have to give a special shoutout to the staff at this Target, especially Sue, Gary, and Rhonda from guest services. While in a rush at self-checkout, I accidentally forgot to grab my cash. I called the store and with Sue and Gary's help, they were able to verify that I indeed did not get my cash. I later stopped by and Rhonda at guest services handed me my misplaced cash after showing a receipt. I'm so thankful for dedicated and helpful people like this Target store employs. Absolute joke of a store. Management all act like children. DO NOT WORK HERE! NO room for advancement and the managers treat you like a child. Schedule grown adults for under 20 hours weekly. Not to mention the negativity within the store is climbing to an all time high. If I ran this store I'd replace all management. Nothing but followers and BAD leaders. Who pick and choose favorites. They Don't schedule good employees so they can save on payroll so the management can get bonuses. Corrupt, and honestly just a nasty environment. Purchased baby rocker from Target.com. Before it arrived, I saw it in the store the next day and I bought it thinking I can just return the online purchase to the store. Well, several months later I go to the store to return the one I purchased from Target.com. They told me that they don't sell this item "no more" so they can't offer me any refund...even though we opened the box at the customer service desk and located the proof of purchase paper inside. I've lived in this neighborhood for 4 1/2 years. I noticed right away at the Yorkville Illinois target that the prices do not ring up properly. Last week and on 3 separate shopping occasions, My produce rang up wrong each time. Tomatoes, one day, celery another day, and the most recent today, the shredded Romaine. How can all those items be wrong. So one is not doing their job. I hate it when I have to make sure MY TARGET IS NOT RIPPING ME OFF! I've spoken to the managers on different occasions about this issue. As of recently it just mainly been in produce. In years past it was other items in the store and sale items. The produce issue has been going on (as far as I have noticed) for the last year. That is the key words here, "I have noticed." So if you don't see the prices ringing up because the kids are fussing or you are fumbling to find your stupid Cartwheel app, you will probably miss the higher prices being rung up. The reason why I gave one Star was that, over the period of 4 years I have spoken to the managers, either through online surveys, gone to the CS desk or just told the cashier, NOTHING SEEMS TO GET DONE HERE. THE PRICES RING UP WRONG OFTEN. Aldi's is a little farther and I have NEVER had a wrong price at Aldi's, I wonder why? Yes, the employees are nice here, that's why they get the one star. I just think this Target really doesn't give a damn. If Target implements "shelf tag must ring up the same price or your item is free" I think you will see them cross-check those prices! read more

Friendly workers but incompetent front end managers. Consistently have just one register open as 11 people wait in line. Multiple times week after week while the front end manager stares aimlessly wondering how they can do even worse then wal-marts low standards. This app while random associates are in other departments facing that could likely help with register experience. read more

Terrible service. Checked Target app for toilet paper. Yorkville store says in stock, but must come into store, no pickup. I went in and guess what, NO TOILET PAPER!! Asked why the app said in stock, was told app is not accurate. Then why even have it? Asked why pickup not allowed, was told so they can restrict a limit per customer. Can't they restrict a per customer limit on pickup? Was told to call ahead to check inventory. Tried calling Guest Service, robot voice said they cannot check inventory in store of items, no one would answer Guest Service phone after about 20 rings.Terrible customer experience. How about putting a notice at the entrance if no toilet paper is available, instead of making customers travel through the whole store to find out. We are supposed to be minimizing time in stores, how about helping out? read more

We love Target stores and usually try to seek them out when we're traveling if we need anything as we know what they carry. We did some brief Black Friday shopping while in the area. This is a really nice target. It has a deli and bakery and produce. They have great selections in all three. They also have fresh doughnut which are pretty good. My bf and I are always in the electronicish area and its usually pretty good. Most of the time we find something that we want lol. I deducted a star cause we collect funkos they kind of suck with that. Other than that we really like target and we're usually here at least once a week lol. read more

I shop here weekly- Cartwheel!! Always well stocked and the cashiers are mostly pleasant. Except for the guy I had yesterday. It may have been his first social interaction out of his Xbox. When they call it a Super Target, they aren't messing around. They have a slightly larger selection than any otherTarget that I have been to. They even have fresh fruit and vegetables,a deli where you can grab your luncheon meat and more. There's a decent selection of fresh meat too. Then there is dairy and any dry grocery you could probably need. They also have everything that any other Target has. You need clothes, electronics, and various home essentials. They have all those things. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Lately they have raised their prices higher than their competitors...Their UP and UP brands were once excellent buys.... not anymore... they are higher now than most name brands. While visiting this store from Napa, Ca. I had the BEST service experience. We were there for. Bridal gift from the registry. The woman greeted us and showed us how to find all items just like we were at A high end Department store. The check out process was even better. She took great care and as extremely personable. While in the store I needed a grocery item they didn't have. I asked the man and he showed me they were out of it. While checking out he came running up to say he researched the item and found some out back in the warehouse. WOW. Talk about good old fashioned service. So here it is.......Wednesday night....my son wants Nutella sandwich.guess what? No Nutella in ds house. So I went to target in yorkville (target is my choice over wally when I have choice lol). It was around 7 pm found Nutella some bread and of course gummy bears. I'm on my way out and here it goes...bunch of people standing in lines, only 4 or 5 registers opened out of 20? So I just picked one that goes fast. Anyways wasn't that bad better that it seamed. So I paid and all that good staff and I forgot to use $2.00 off coupon....dang! Went to customer service and told young lady that I forgot to use my high value coupon and she didn't even asked she just did her thing on register and I walked out $2 richer. Whoo hooo. Any ways this target is great and all of them are nice (except some in the city). Only one thing is that they are understaffed sometimes. read more

This Target has a HUGE selection, great sale prices, a Starbucks, a Pizza Hut, and a great location. I stop by here for coffee, lunch, and last minute knick knacks before or after visiting the Kendall County Courthouse which is literally across the street. The employees are always very friendly, there are almost never any lines, and the bakery is amazing. I've been known to make a special trip to this Target just to get their chocolate chip red velvet muffins which are just down right AMAZING! This Target is definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in Kendall County. read more

Love the red card and saving money. Buying groceries here is difficult. They have a narrow selection of fresh produce and whoever is in charge of replenishing stock for the entire grocery portion should find a new line of work. It's not uncommon for This Target to be out of Chicken, ground beef and turkey, certain brands of cereal for weeks at a time. Usually only 2 of 20 checkout lanes are open so be ready to stand in line. read more

I typically like shopping at this location. My kids like to go to the Cafe for pizza and breadsticks. Well, today my husband went into the men's bathroom, and an employee was using the urinal. He didn't wash his hands, and went straight back to work at the Cafe! I'm totally disgusted. I know Target can't monitor if their employees wash their hands after using the bathroom, however adults (and especially adults that work in the Cafe!) should know better. It's a basic hygiene thing that 3 year olds know. If I see that employee at the Cafe from now on, we're skipping it. I mean....who forgets to wash their hands?!? Gross. read more

only because I couldn't say 0. i was shopping with a $5 off coupon, I gave it to the child at the register,and he forgot to scan it. when i pointed it out to him he proceeded to pull everything out of the bags and ring it up again. When I got home I checked my bank account to find I was charged for the total with the coupon and the total without the coupon. upon returning to the store i pointed out the err and was given a run around about how the money was "probably" waiting to go back into my account and that they would have their IT person check and call me back. 12 days later they call me back and tell me their is nothing they can do and that I should see if my bank will reimburse it. HORRIBLE! My bank didn't take the money Target did. I am so sick of the terrible store and will never be going back read more

if you buy your groceries here like i do you have noticed the selection has gone way down. it seems every time i go there they no longer carry grocery items i usually buy. the deli is about half of what it used to be. they are not good about giving you the discount on the free cheese when you buy 1 1/2 lbs of deli meat. twice i had to go back to the service desk because they charged me for the cheese that was supposed to be free. the paper products t.p. paper towels are overpriced, i buy those items elsewhere. this last visit i bought a jar of clearance salsa and when i removed the clearance sticker (my son gives me a hard time about buying clearance food :) i saw that it was placed directly over the expiration date. it expired 5/12 and they sold it to me 7/12. i guess my son was right, don't buy clearance food from the yorkville target. the people who work in the deli and bakery are super nice. the selection of produce is also not very good either. they do have some really good market pantry brand gelato, but they will probably discontinue that soon because i like it and buy it. they need better doughnuts. more selection in the meat dept. they need more selection in every grocery department really. it is down to the basics now and i've started to have to shop at 3 or 4 different stores for my families household needs. the prices are usually very competitive though for what they do carry. also their credit card has the worst customer service i've ever experienced from a credit card in my 24 years of having credit cards. read more
