I went in for a new phone on a Sunday 1/2 hour before closing time. Zac greeted me with a smile and great attitude. Zac was so helpful and made sure I got what I wanted. The phone had to be ordered, which was not a problem. He explained the whole process and when it would be delivered to the store. I also got home Internet and Zac was great with explaining how to set it up and if I wasn't happy in 30 days, I could return it and gave me toll-free number to work with for the return. Unfortunately, the whole time I was, there was longer than the store was open, but Zac had no problem staying late and helping me. He is truly a treasure at that store, and I would go nowhere else. I picked up my phone on Thursday when it was delivered. And of course because of work did not get there till right before closing. Again, Zac, stayed late to help transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone. He never once tried to hurry me on because it was after hours and he wanted to go. thanks Zac for everything. Verizon needs to re-evaluate their Customer Service Representative hiring and training procedures if our experience is any indication of a normal Verizon Store Experience! The North Aurora's store Service Representative was extremely rude, argumentative and condescending. We walked out after a few minutes of unprofessionalism and traveled to the Batavia Verizon store where we were pleasantly greeted and completely pleased with the warm and professional demeanor of the store staff! What a difference.....thanks to the Batavia Verizon Store! Retraining is very much needed at the North Aurora store!!! read more

I haven't been to this Verizon before but I have met an employee from here! He was working at the Plano store and was juggling so many tasks at once. I was impressed with his patience and tolerance when rude customers approached him with questions. My phone took a long time to back up which was my fault because I went over a year without backing up my iCloud. Isaiah was the one to help me and keep me entertained for the hours I spent in the store. I appreciated all of his help and was impressed with his customer service. He was very personal and very honest. This man deserves a raise!!!! read more

On Monday 12/16 I went into this store because I qualified for the Edge program due to a promotion that Verizon was running for the holidays. After being at the store for a bit I was told by the representative that yes I qualified but I was unable to do anything about it until my bill cycle ended on 1/3/2014. Before leaving the store I double checked that I would still qualify for the Edge program after 1/3/2014, and I was told yes. On Saturday 1/4/2014 in a snow storm my husband and I returned to the store hoping to walk out with a new phone. Well the level of customer service we experience isn't worthy the "one" star I gave it above. Pitz, the Manager started to help us right away. Started by looking up my account to tell me that I NO LONGER QUALIFIED for the Edge program and nothing but poor reasons why. I explained the situation back from my visit on 12/16. The person that helped me that day was working so the manger went to double check with him, I'm guessing to see if I was telling the truth. Bottom Line: This store does NOT have the customer's best interest in mind. They are only thinking about themselves and how they can make the most money on a sale. After becoming extremely frustrated my husband and I left. On our way home I called customer service and explained the situation and my frustration. After putting me on hold for a bit, the representative came back asking what phone I was interested in. My new phone arrives in 3-5 business days. Now that is how you treat loyal customer's and keep their business. I will NEVER step foot in the North Aurora Verizon store again. read more

I don't understand why there's such a low review on this location. When we arrived there. Everybody was so welcoming and super nice. My fiancé and I got the family plan of 5 lines. We were all moving from T-Mobile to Verizon. We all had so many questions and Erin was very helpful and patience on answering every single one of them. Every person that comes in is given a recommendation they should upgrade their phone and extend their contract two years. Bait and switch. German/Jerman (not sure of the spelling) was extremely helpful! He seemed to be the only one at this location with a head on his shoulders! I went to order a new phone and ran into account issues, one employee could have cared less and did little to help, German jumped right in to deal with the situation. He also worked quickly and was able to fix things other employees claimed they were "unable" to help with (I think they just didn't care at all). Not only did he help me but speaks two languages and helped others at the same time while one employee sat there texting. Seems like German is carrying this entire location on his shoulders, even during the pandemic he went out of his way to give great service, he even came in on his day off when I came back to pick up the phone and help further, give this employee a raise! read more

It is bemusing to see all the positive reviews on google and compare them to the negative reviews on Yelp. Is it because the store employees are having their friends/family leave positive reviews on google. Looks awfully fishy to me... You be the judge. read more

I am not a "techie". However, I know enough to keep my head above water. I find the majority of associates at this location to be incredibly condescending to older people like me. I just want to be treated with dignity and respect and to have my questions answered in a civilized manner and not be "talked down to". Went into this store in an attempt to make my dollar go further but after 2 wasted visits, a phone that was the exact opposite of what I wanted, and being lied to repeatedly I am now not only stuck in this stupid "Edge" program but I cannot get the proper people to admit defeat and allow me out of this contract that I never wanted!! I cannot understand how a business can operate the way they do, they lie about prices, they say they will call you back and never do, and they make you wait hours in the store just to talk to someone. I came to this store for a replacement of a faulty screen protector put on my phone a week earlier. The man that I talked to about the issue was incredibly rude. He first insisted that his computer wouldn't work to verify that I purchased the product in the first place but then when I asked him to call someone for help it magically began working again. Secondly, after the screen protector was "fixed", the man placed the phone on the counter and said "goodbye" and walked away. I looked at the screen protector and it was worse than when I took it in in the first place! I told him that there were new scratches and air bubbles and he said that he couldn't do anything. Overall, the service was terrible and I ended up taking my phone to the Verizon in Oswego where they fixed the faulty case from this location. Terrible experience at the Aurora Verizon. read more

I visited this store the day after signing up with Verizon at the Batavia store. My phone didn't work after just a day. I went in ten minutes before closing and the associate who helped me was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. My issue was resolved promptly and I had a good experience. I wish I could remember the associate's name but I remember it started with an 'E' and he mentioned he lost a fingernail to a hammer recently... Ha. Great experience! read more

I had a very bad experience at this store. I purchased a new phone on the verizon website for my wife. When we recieved the phone my wife decided she did not like it. We never even activated it. After speaking to Verizon cust svc over the phone they told me I could return it to this store. When I brang it over to return it I was treated rudely and told they would not take it back because I bought it online. Came home and called Verizon cudt Svc again and was told by them to bring it back to the store and that they had to accept the return. When I returned to the store for a second time I asked to speak to the manager who after explaining the situation to him was also just as rude to me and refused to take the phone back. I had to call customer svc for a third time on my phone while at the store and have them call the store and tell the Manager to take the phone back which they finally did. I was treated very rudely again for going over the managers head. I will never give buisness to this store again. By the way Verizon did give me $25 credit to my account for the inconvienence. read more

listen up people...ALL the reviews are true based on my personal experience...a couple of times I was lucky enough to run into the right employee...most of my visits...not lucky at all...my last 3 visits I came with my mind set up to buy something...BUY...I wanted to...but I was driven away to other different stores...once I was with a friend who was struck by how long we had to wait inside the store for anyone to say hi to us...once we left and ten minutes later and 450$ less in my pocket I had purchased exactly what I needed from best buy next door !...this time around...today...I wanted to let them know that I'd be traveling overseas...so I could spend lots of money by using the Verizon number instead of a New # bought in England or Greece...well...ten or more minutes of waiting I was properly greeted by someone who was the manager or a supervisor since I was told that the person who he came with was his trainee...so after I told him what I wanted...he asked me for my phone number and my name and ultimately my wife's name since she is the account payee...I was told to wait for an experienced person to help me out in such !!! difficult things...five minutes later I was told that : roaming is $1.99 per minute and there's one plan for internet usage =100mb for $20 !!!..now if you don't get this plain the charges are as 1mb for $20 !! !$@&#/&!$& ..I had to ask and repeat twice cause i could not believe this ! ...I said all right...let's get the plan..(there's only one 1 plan) and get done with it...but no...they could not do anything not even the roaming activation unless my wife called or visited the store... ..so...I guess I'll be buying 10gb for 30euro and 1000 min for 20 euro when in Europe...50 Euro = $70 and im good for weeks... ..TIL if you are feeling extremely lucky and have time to kill by waiting for no good reason then please visit the store and enjoy...TIL if your going overseas don't use your phone...BUY a phone for 30_40 Euro and spend another $70 and you are good to go for weeks...thank you Verizon for the lesson you guys suck :-) read more

I came in to fix a issue with my contract that Best Buy screwed me over on. I was greated right away by Scott Robinson who spent a hour to help my recover from Best Buy stupidity . Making multiple phone calls and keeping me in mind even though I did not buy the phone through him or the store. Learned my mistake and will be going through him for all future phone upgrades. I wish I could have given a zero for this place. Some of these reviews didn't go far enough in talking about how awful the service is. My mom and I went in to purchase two phones and were told that buying the phones qualified us for a free jet pack. Turns out that it was not free and I have been charged for the jet pack as a monthly fee. The jet pack acts like a hot spot for wifi but so is your phone. It uses the same amount of data that your phone does so it is complete waste. The associate never explained this clearly and never told us that it would cost us a ten dollar monthly fee. Called Verizon to cancel and were told that it would cost us 175.00 cancellation fee. What??????? We were told it was part of the package for buying two phones. Looking into switching phone companies. If you don't buy your phones out right, don't go here. Looking into filling some kind of fraud complaint. read more
