This is our regular store for cellular phone service purchases. We have always received good service here without too much of a wait. If you come on on a weekend it is busy. We come in during the week, not around lunch hour. We have always had great reception with Verizon while friends with other phone service companies have had connection issues. The other ones may sometimes be cheaper, but if it doesn't connect reliably what good is it? We recommend Verizon. read more

ZERO STARS If you want absolutely horrible service upon walking into a Verizon store then this is your place! I was told I would have to wait 45minutes+ to know whether or not they actually had an iPhone in stock. Upon waiting, I was told by 4...yes, FOUR, different employees that I would have to wait for my turn in order to even use their restroom. Here I was ready to spend $1200 on a new phone and had to drive to the closest WalMart just to use the restroom. I live an hour away and was completely shocked by the abhorrent service. I will say this I did call the representative that I had to deal with an asshole to his face in front of other people not my finest moment. However you should never belittle a customer in front of others ever. I came in with a simple question and got asked 40 other questions and then told that I could YouTube how to do something. Furthermore was told that they did not work for Verizon if that's the case why are they in a Verizon store? When I asked him what his name was so I can report him for his poor customer service and attitude he told me to report him as asshole. Verizon store is what it is. It opened it noon and I got here at 11:35 and I'm already the 16th person in line. They do a good job with moving people through as fast as they can however. A good staff and a clean store. The staff is always very helpful and courteous and they do a good job with being able to narrow down and figure out almost any problem you have. This store has the typical set up of other Verizon stores. We stopped by to pay the upcoming bill. We recently added an iPhone and iPad to our line. So we also wanted to get clarification what our bill prices would be once the initial charges came off. The service was a little slow. I avoid going to the stores because I feel like it takes forever! Two associates had to explain the upcoming charges however each has different answers--how confusing for us! I have purchased two iPhones, a smartphone and an iPad mini from this store. The reps are very polite, however I tend to put off my visits there, as I am usually waiting around for an hour or so, until I get assistance. On my most recent visit here, I was not feeling well and the greeter put my name in line. Oh, no, another half day wasted and I don't feel well. I expressed my situation to the greeter and told her I would have to leave. She then wanted to check my device herself. I asked if she was a technician and fortunate for me she was. She was able to fix my problem and off I went after 45 minutes. That was the shortest wait I ever had at any Verizon store. I love my devices and have been with Verizon like forever. My calls are rarely dropped and I almost always have a signal. I am happy with my service and even my last Verizon visit. Hopefully that will continue or improve. read more

I had an account with them for the last three or four years and due to medical conditions I cannot wear a mask. Their website was not reflecting which phones they had in stock properly so I had to go into a few stores. The last one I went to was a corporate store and they treated me horribly because I could not wear a mask and essentially kicked me out of the store without even helping me. This was in the Myrtle Beach store and the person (who said she was a manager) was Michelle. After she was very rude to me I told her she was losing my business and she said "aight". There is no mask mandate in the state of South Carolina or the county or city of which I was in. I brought this to the attention of the executive representatives and CEO etc. and they are not apologetic and were rude to me as well. As a veteran I am appalled by the way they treated me. Went in with a friend who needed her new phone backed up from her old one. She had recently received a poorly manufactured phone and was having major difficulties. So she ordered a new one, which came in the mail. But she always had Verizon do her back ups for her. The employees were very nice and the wait was not very long at all. Which shocked me when we got inside, because the parking lot seemed packed. However, this Verizon location is on a poor 'lot' in the plaza. It is not easy to go to, coming from 501. If you were coming from 501, and turned onto seaboard street, you would then need to go to the first light, take a left, and go all the way through the parking lot and around Golden Corral that is behind it.. Do you know how many cars you need to dodge and get around on seaboard street, and that side street, AND in Golden Corral parking lot.. Talk about a maze.. read more

We were on vacation when my husbands phone stopped charging. We went to this store and were helped by a Jennifer Palma and it was a fantastic experience! She was so helpful and honest- she told us that even though my husband was eligible for an upgrade that if we just wanted a fix we could go to another place called StayMobile and gave us a coupon! We went and it was going to cost about the same to fix it as it was to get a new phone so we went back and had her help us again. She made the process easy and enjoyable when usually it can be boring...especially because we were on vacation! read more

Was not satisfied with service at all. After calling the warranty department about my newly purchased IPhone 11 Max Pro they suggested that I go in the store in order to get a new phone because this one is running hot. Well after standing in line due to the coronavirus I was told that the phone will run hot if I am on it for a long time. Not true. My daughter is on hers practically all day and it never runs hot. He told me to turn the brightness down. It still runs hot. I received my IPhone on April 30 I am within the time frame to receive another one. They did not have the coor that I have and will not change for a different which I don't understand. I will not accept a refurbished phone because I ordered a new one. I have a company provided cell phone. I feel like I am held hostage each time I am forced to enter their store. Seating is very limited. Wait times are always over an hour. It is like spending an hour at a used car lot when you don't want to buy a car just get the one you have serviced. I checked in at the door today. The man was texting who took my information. He asked for my first name. I gave it twice. While I waited I asked a couple to corral their two boys probably 4 and 6 who they had let run wild for the entire time I was in the store. Not a single employee spoke to them about this. I am assuming everyone in there works off of commission. I waited 45 minutes before asking for an update on wait time. I was then told three times that I should have signed in. Mr. Texter was at lunch. I asked to speak with the manager and she had an attitude but fixed my problem in a short amount of time. Why don't you provide chairs. I don't want to sit on a bench next to greasy sweaty people straight off the beach when I'm there on my lunch break. Horrible experience. Never changes. Always SLOW. Early morning all the retirees are there to get help. Lunch all those with a job are there on their lunch breaks and afternoon to evening is everyone coming off the beach. I have asked and will continue to ask that our nationwide account be transferred to another carrier so issues that come up once or twice a year aren't like a visit to JRLong-Gentleman's Club-and the local daycare with no one watching the kids. read more

Hate to go against Verizon, had the wireless service for almost 30 years, during the earlier years would get a free upgade every so often, the policy must have changed, I had an apple Iphone, and told the agents what I really needed, facetime, apple music, and email I think their was a push at this location to the other operating system, I am a senior and to be honest am not familiar with all the technology. Both of our phones were in working order and I was confused and purchased two of the Samsung Android after about two minutes I knew it was more confusion, and returned the phones, I was charged 35 for each phone, total 70. I then went to Sam's Club never thought of getting a phone their but to my satisfaction, the store had the Apple iPhone SE, the verizon store also stated that I couldn't do an upgrade for 48 hrs, within an hour the salesperson at Sam's was able to activate the phone with no problems, also found out that ANY phone purchased could be returned with no penalty. I was surprise because I truly believed that the Verizon store would take care of my needs. Felt like I was being screwed by a company that I been doing business with for several decades. I now believe that Verizon is just looking to profit with the Samsung's because apple doesn't offer that many discounts. read more

He was fantastic. Answered every question we had. He helped us with the best options for replacing the phone. Helped us pick out a protective case and screen protector.
