Went here on Tuesday March 17th 2026 with my mom. First we needed to return some black pants that i ordered online, as i misread the sizing guide and picked the wrong size. But at least returns are easy. James helped me and the process to return my items was easy. He was pleasant too. My mom and I then looked around the store, at the clothes, and she picked out some of them to try on at home. Womens section seemed a bit small, but perhaps is set up differently than what I am used to. We also went to the grocery section and brought 2 for 7 salads, worcheshire sauce, good and gather salsa, another medium salsa, some good and gather cheese. We also got birds eyes vegetables 3 for 7! I rarely go to target but I stopped in and bought a few things and I mean the young man checking me out could not stop himself from obsessively talking to the young woman behind me who was apparently a current or former employee. He actually stopped checking me out to chat with her. To talk about hairstyles! It was unbelievable. And then I get home and the green olives I purchased are nowhere to be found. And I paid for them. Someone needs to tell him to focus on the customer he's currently checking out. I won't be so polite next time. What an idiot. read more

Ordered some items for delivery. Delivered to front door within delivery timeframe. Immediately began unpacking bags. Noticed a skunky odor coming from bags. 5 lb bag of flour stunk of weed. Upon opening to put in container it reeked. All items in cardboard stunk. Won't use the flour. Called target & advised of situation. Was told I could return it for a refund. Hmmm...the point of ordering for delivery was so that after a 12 hour shift I didn't have go to the store. 15 miles round trip, & waste of gas & time for $5? Nope. Tossed flour in trash. Target like any other Target store with clothes, housewares, health & beauty, seasonal items, and grocery. The store layout is a little confusing to this retail veteran. This location also has a Starbucks, +star. The service is so borderline non-existent, so good luck if you have a question. I'm to the point I like self checkouts more, as most customers are still apprehensive to use, so let me get to them. Lastly, the parking lot sucks. I really hate it, as the main entrance off the main road runs right into parked cars in the lot and it gets congested by drivers turning in and out. Then there are just too many handicap parking spots, I counted like 16. But I'll stop by for essentials, and survive the parking lot adventure. read more

I love target. Cute clothes and I'm very petite and they have my size lol. It was well stocked and they have quest products which I love as well as other healthy selections and new food finds. I'm a foodie and love that. I took off a star cause last time I went there it wasnt as stocked which I know is not targets fault. It's the food shortages. But the reason I docked a star is cause it always had been well organised and neat and last time I went looked like a diaster area with items thrown about and some in the wrong place. Frustrating and hard to find items while shopping. They could do a better job or perhaps it's the people who shop there. But still. Do your job and put the items back correctly if you work in that department cause you are driving my OCD nuts lol read more

Don't come here if you're looking for kids swim. The section for boys was 8ft wide and included mens. The girls section was 4ft. The women's section was literally the entire front of the store. Really enjoyed my visit to this location. I didn't find it "small" like some reviews claimed and I don't get that opinion? The aisles are no close and I didn't feel claustrophobic at all. There were plenty of employees nearby if I needed help. It was a work day and they were steady but not slammed so it was just right traffic wise for me to stroll and be unbothered. Aisles were clean and I was surprised at how well recovered they were. That said, when I came to checkout two employees were talking and the cashier was less than warm when I walked up and didn't greet me. It took me talking and joking to get a jovial engagement from him. That said, I've worked retail and understand how the holidays are so he gets a pass. And he was very considerate of my products being bagged and logical (bagging bird seed if it busted, etc). Overall, the usual high end consumer experience I've come to expect from Target but just in Myrtle Beach compared to Wilmington where I normally go. read more

I absolutely love Target but not this location. I haven't been in this one for years and I was reminded why. I was so disappointed. It seems small but cluttered. The store hasn't been updated like the stores in the Charleston area. The women's departments are separated and confusing. The shoe selection isn't good. I'm not a fan. Ordered child's toy online. The toy appears to be broken due to poor packaging. To fill the void in the oversized box, they added 23 rolls of paper used in calculators, adding machines etc. The exterior box is totally wrecked and the toy packaging is bent. The toy packaging alsohas something loose in it that rattles. Since I can get no one at Target Corp to take my call noe call me back, I will return to my local Target store. We have three unlocked ATT iPhones that are prepared to switch to Target's Consumer Cellular. Not sure they deserve our business. read more

Today I was in looking for a desk and some new items to furnish my new apartment. I had several large purchases that were put up at the customer service desk for check out when I was finished shopping! This is when I met Enrique... he was very willing to assist me with my large item purchases as well as my basket items. I had several items in the buggy and I believe it was his supervisor who kindly stated that only 10 total items could be checked out there. Enrique quickly apologizes to me and stated he was on his 5th day there! I would have never guessed that as he didn't skip a beat while helping me with my transaction. His personality shines and I believe he is a great asset to your customer service team. Thank you for assisting me today! I would also like to say that Dani at the regular check out handled the rest of my basket items. She was very quick to notice that I had several items that would require the question for extended warranties and she pre asked me! She also handled my transaction with ease! At one point Enrique came to assist her with one of my untagged items and he mentioned to Dani he had assisted me at the Customer Service Counter. She too stated that she was on her 5th day like Enrique! I truly would not have guessed that either! Thank you Dani for being so quick and thorough while checking me out today! It was great to see 2 young adults enjoying working and showing customer service is still alive! read more

So I'm not sure if this is a review target per se, or just the experience of shopping at this target location. I was on a short trip to Myrtle Beach and realized that I forgot to pack shirts. I stopped in at this target location to pick up a couple of tops and some eggs. First of all everybody was super friendly. I was only in the store for a half an hour and I was asked three times if I needed help finding anything. There is a Starbucks on the left as you enter, so I got a treat to drink as I did my shopping. I didn't realize that I couldn't drink while wearing my mask, so I didn't actually get to drink it until after I finished and went to the car. I found everything I was looking for, but they were a couple of things that were a little disappointing. First of all there's no one clearance section for the women's clothing. Instead there's like five little clearance racks scattered around. I also realized as I was checking out that there was a section clothing that I had missed because it was tucked away in a weird spot. Of course I was already in line and ready to check out, and then saw a shirt that I really wished I had picked up, but I didn't want to lose my spot in line. The other thing that was a little odd was the number of things that were out of stock. I don't know if it's a pandemic supply chain issue, or if people are hoarding certain foods and clothing, but it was a little frustrating to not find (exactly) some of the things I was looking for. For these, I found options but didn't have a lot of choice. For instance, they only had two types of eggs in stock. Neither were the type that I was looking for, but I was able to buy eggs. When I was browsing one of the other sections I noticed that an entire shelf of plastic bags was just empty. Other things they were out of: chocolate milk, Hanes women's panties (except plus sizes), and sizes small and medium men's tshirts. The best part of this Target was, hands down, the friendly, helpful staff. I can imagine they have put up with a lot the last few months, but they were all still smiling and pleasant. The checkout line was pretty long, and many of the lines game very quickly but in typical fashion, I chose the one line with a slower person. Staff were, for the most part, respecting social distancing. They were all wearing masks although I saw a lot of exposed noses. Only about a quarter of the shoppers were wearing masks. There was very little attempt to social distance on the part of shoppers, when we were in line together. That made me a little uncomfortable. read more

We visited Target last night for a Kindle. David in the electronics department went out of his way to help us. He is an absolute super employee. He knew exactly where everything was and answered all our questions. Super friendly and nice. It was almost closing time, and he still took his time with us. I have worked in customer service, so I know good customer service when I get it. Target needs to make sure they keep this employee employed and recognize him for the service he provides. He deserves a raise and a promotion to management. Target has a very dedicated employee in him. David, every time I read my Kindle, I will think of you. I lost my purse with all my belongings in it and was freaking out. An associate/security man named Kyle worked so hard to help me find it and make sure I wasn't freaking out. Someone else had put it in their cart and had put a bunch of clothes over it to hide it but they caught them. I liked this target especially the location, you have similar stores within walking distance which is nice. The store overall is organized and clean. The layout of the store was different t from other targets I am use to, harder to find the home decor section and such but not a big deal. It was very crowded especially in the toy section and like most targets you can easily cut through to the other side if it's pact, this one you can't which was annoying. The bullseye section was stock pretty well and they have a nice Starbucks inside also. read more

Came here with my lady as we were looking for halloween costumes but were sad when they didn't have much of a selection for us adult animals. The place looked a little messy. Only highlight was they had a nice beer selection and we were able to get our hands on some natty seltzers but they were so overpriced. Sad Face hope to be better :/ read more

Very rude from management. Starbucks barista did not know about a coupon, and went ahead and made the drink. When manager came by to check coupon she said "that's not going to work" we don't take those. I said that our target in Memphis used it and she said she didn't care and said it's not happening here. Although I like 544 location more due to its proximity to where I live/work and their wider selection of items that I want, this location is still nice. It is a little close to the more touristy area of Myrtle Beach, but it is still nice. Friendly staff and one of the few places around you can actually find a parking spot I swear. read more

Clean, organized, great selection of items! I love target! I always feel that it is an upgrade from Walmart. Target always has what I need, and the location is great! I am able to run in most days if I need something last minute. Plus this location has some fresh foods - bananas, oranges, etc. The target back in my hometown did not have that option. If you wanted anything fresh like that you had to go to a grocery store to get it. They have a Starbucks and a small Pizza Hut to the side as you walk in. Great little pick me up while you go shopping! I gave 4 stars because of the pharmacy location inside of the store. When I pick up my prescription I like to cash out whatever I'm grabbing as the same time. The exit to the pharmacy is not easy access to the store front doors, therefore I need to maze my way out. And I'm always afraid I'm going to get stopped because workers will think I'm stealing and whatnot. read more

Clean, and well staffed. This target is exactly what you would expect from any target. It's better than Walmart in almost every way shape and form. They have a Starbucks, and a small food area with Pizza Hut pizzas that tantalize you every time you walk in past them. Pharmacy here is great too, customer service is excellent. read more

Target, oh how I really used to love you. I have been to this store i don't even know how many times. They always claim on their app and at that store they have products and items in store, when I go, nothing. I've asked for help and I get basically the blandest response, "we don't have it, it's not on the shelf". YES I AM AWARE. Multiple times I asked if they could check the back and they tell me, "it shows nothing is in the back room". Guess what, IT WAS! The service has been awful, if you don't like your job, I get it, but we customers didn't make you hate it. The app target has is NEVER updated apparently and the stores seems to just say that's not on them, "it's corporate". That's a lame excuse for a business. I'm so disappointed, I will be heading to Walmart from here on out. Target you've lost a big customer. read more

For this category, I give them 5 starts. They have Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizzas, pretzels, healthy sandwiches, drink choices and fun stuff like Icees. The best part is, now they have a kids meal for under $4 that can include carrots with ranch dipping sauce. Starbuck's is also there. That's where I sometimes buy a grown up dessert. For less than two bucks you can have a caramel square with a cookie crust, perfect for a sweet ending to quick lunch. It's great to stop there before an afternoon at the beach or at Broadway at the Beach where cheap eats are just not possible. P.S. They always have clean rest rooms at the ready. Yesterday I was shopping at this location when the power went out. I couldn't check out and pay for my items because the registers were down. The staff working were so nice and showcased incredible customer service. I was given several "$3 off your purchase" coupons by staff members for the inconvenience. A few other team members were walking around with little bags of popcorn for the customers waiting in line. I was so impressed with their dedication to get the registers up and running as well as their customer service skill. read more

So here is my target experience this week. I am from Washington Pa, on vacation in Myrtle Beach. I'm also a huge Destiny fan. So Destiny 2 was released today, along with some action figures and a target exclusive ghost. I stopped by at 8am, upon store opening, to try to snag a ghost figure. The manager told me they have some figures in stock, but they couldn't sell them until tomorrow. THEY PULLED ONE FROM THE STOCK ROOM TO TRY TO RING IT AT THE REGISTER. No go. Okay, I stop today, same store, same time, they don't even have the game out to buy. They have a big display in the back, and price tags for the merchandise, but nothing. I talk to several people, they can't find the figures that they showed me yesterday. One employee was actually rude about it. That's the Myrtle Beach store. I then call my home store in Washington, Pa to check their stock. They inform me THAT YOU CANT HAVE A FIGURE UNLESS YOU BUY THE GAME. The lady at this store was equally rude when I tried to tell them that was not a requirement at ANY OTHER RETAILER. They have all the figures in stock there. At this point, I can go to any retailer and buy the game, and, no, target, you do not have to buy the game to get a figure. They are sold separately. So I am really terribly disappointed that target is apparently not ready to sell this game or related merchandise to its customers. I JUST WANTED A VINYL GHOST. I was also going to purchase a couple other figures as well. So, if you are a Destiny fan, just save time and aggravation, skip target, and go somewhere else. This whole situation has made me decide to not do business with target anymore! There is a Game Stop across the street where they are always polite, and they want my money. read more
