consignors beware! brooke the owner has not reissued an $827 check that she verified had not been…read morecashed and was lost in the mail november 2025. now i wonder if the check was even issued in the first place. in one of many voicemail messages that were ignored i even questioned their financial status. obviously based on a recent facebook posting they are renovating their lobby. perhaps they are using my monies to help cover their costs or they just choose not to honor their consignment agreement. after several phone calls and an email exchange on january 7, 2026 with brooke the owner no check has been received for the items sold between october and november 2025. if you are considering consigning with them reconsider. there are many more reputable consignment stores in the area. a complaint has been filed with the sc department of consumer affairs and the better business bureau, and despite the lack of courtesy on their part, i have sent them copies of each complaint certified mail, again no response.

The prices were the best I have found for Talavera Pottery and the metal artwork is top notch. The unique and hard to find nautical items I look for are everywhere in the shop. I have several pieces of the antique furniture in my home that were restored by the owner and other artisans from the area. If you're looking for great quality items at a very fair price, Artisan's Gallery is a place you need to Include on your list here at the Beach. The owner, Phillip, goes out of his way to serve his customers and even keeps a book of what you are looking for. When he finds it, he'll call you and even deliver larger pieces.
