It's been years since I shopped at Dillards. The store is beautiful and I forgot how gorgeous the clothes are. The quality and style of clothing is definitely noticeably nicer than other stores. My sister and I of course beelined to the sale and clearance racks for bargains but even those prices were high and there wasn't much on sale that was worth trying on. We did enjoy browsing and the staff was friendly. I also was able to gleam some ideas for a future dress I'll be needing later in the year. read more

4/2/25: Donna Calder, the Men's Tailored Suit Specialist who assisted us, was friendly, very patient, and knowledgeable. Mark needed a new suit for an anticipated family funeral. Donna made several recommendations for suit brand, style, color, and size. We ordered a handsome Hickey Freeman suit not presently in stock, saved 10%, and will return for Dillard's free alterations. As a teenage girl in desperate times of the Ugg war, i called every store asking if they had the tasman uggs, without any expectations. To preface i can't even remember the last time i made a review on anything so that's how you know. Dillard's - Women's Clothing Near Me - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I received a Patricia Nash wallet ($89) from my daughter-in-law. I already have a wallet from that manufacturer. I tried calling customer service and then tried the Myrtle Beach store itself. The wallet still has the price tag on it. The manager of the department told me it had to have a sticker on it to show it was bought in that store. I was told to call assistant manager today. I did but call was dropped. I called back and was told both assistant and manager were not in today. Will be back tomorrow. I have invested numerous hours already!!! I am 81 years of age. I do not want to bother my daughter in law any further. I regard Dillard's as an upscale store with superior customer service. I have been given the runaround from Corporate and local. Dillards' has beautiful clothing for women who are "particular" about the manner in which they present themselves to others. The store is filled with other top notch goods for the home and the family. It's a great place to purchase a present for a special person in your life. Dillard's is one of the most expensive department stores in the mall. The women's shoe department is great! It's a nice size. I believe there are more options than the two in Charleston. The jewelry department here is great, as well. This location also carries high-end, preloved, vintage, designer bags and wallets--like Gucci, Fendi, and Louis Vuitton. Just because they are used doesn't mean you're getting a deal...the prices are still high! read more

Don't dare to buy men's perfume there . I did spend over $500 in perfume all top brand name like Mont Blanc ,Yves saint laurent , and Jimmy choo and I do use those perfumes in my Florida home ( buying them at Macys) and they all were no good at all. They didn't have any smell that even comes close to the original smell of those perfumes which I do know very well . maybe it's them perfume supplier ,or maybe they are not aware of this problem , or maybe they are old perfumes even dough they came in a beautiful original packaging. The mall is in a nice neighborhood with other attractions nearby like the aquarium and wax museum to name a couple. Dillards has vintage LV, Gucci and Burberry which was nice to see. They store lots of good cosmetic products that are trending. read more

This is the more high end department store in the area. My daughter got married this year and I needed a gown and my husband needed a suit. The prices are along the line of what you would find in Macy's, and they carry many of the same brands. Upon entering the women's department I found the gown immediately, that I ended up buying. I could have used a little more help from the sales lady, but they must have been a bit short staffed that day. Anyway, I ended up with an amazing gown, my daughter was thrilled with. My husband and I did a detour and stopped off at Men's Warehouse, and we were not happy with the selection of suits, or the pushy salesman. We left and went to Dillards and were treated very well by the salesman. My husband ended up with a gorgeous Ralph Lauren suit, which was altered (for an additional fee), and pressed, we had the suit ready in less than 2 weeks, because we had time to spare. As it turned out, my husband's suit was only $50.00 more than the suit that we were being pushed into at MW, and we were so happy with it. Myrtle Beach is a casual, beachy and retirement community. There is no great demand here for formal wear. But if the need arises, this is the place to shop. read more

This is one of the better department stores in the Myrtle Beach area. It makes up for the fact that there is no Macy's in the area. The customer service here is top drawer. Every department is well-staffed and the staff is always very impressive. It's refreshing to see a store where they have invested in hiring great people and training them well. I only shop in the Men's, Home and Cosmetics departments so I have to base my review on the exceptional service I receive there. I am always pleased with the selection, service and prices. Special mention should go to the selection in skin care and fragrances. This is one of the best shopping exeperiences you will have in this area. read more

My husband and I are new to the area so this was our first time to visit a Dillard's store. We could tell right away it was more upscale. We're not typically Big spenders on every day stuff but we decided to look around anyway. SO GLAD we did!! We only needed sheets, but ended up buying beach towels, hand towels and luggage as well! The sales were awesome! The wonderful lady in the women's clothing area rang us out and she was so friendly and we joked with her about applying for a Dillard's credit card. My husband wanted no part of that but she kept encouraging him anyway! We had a great time and will definitely be back!! read more

There are two ladies, that are regulars, that are NOT PLEASANT and hardly make eye contact when taking my monies. Great selection. I usually have a great experience every time I go. A sales associate in woman's clothing was calling this black woman "girl" and "good girl," after she tried on some clothes. Honestly, I would give them 0 stars but that wasn't an option. The Russian ladies that work there lacked customer service. When I asked to get a certain size that was not already on display , she completely ignored me and told me to just look for a different thing instead of going to the back and looking for a size. read more

Marina at the Clarins counter took such great care of my mom today. She helped her find the perfect lipstick as well as several skin care products that made her look and feel beautiful and pampered. Although the clothing selection is absolutely wonderful...the company policies are horrendous. The poor employees that have enforce these unbelievable policies. I had my second horrible experience yesterday: 1. Last summer I bought a bathing suit at Dillard's. The very next day it went on sale. I went back and asked for a price adjustment. "Store policy states they do not give price adjustments." -REALLY???? Every store gives price adjustments. So I asked if I could return the bathing suit and then re-buy it at the lower price. I was told "No - if you return it, we cannot sell it back to you. We must put it in the back room for (I think she said 24 hours - I couldn't hear at that point as I was so crazy.). Absurd- -- that's all I can say about that. 2. I ordered a pair of stockings at Dillard's.com - They cost $36 and the shipping was $8.50. A little high but I went with it. They arrived, and were too big so I needed to exchange them. I called customer service - the gentlenam was very polite and said he will email me a "PRE PAID" shipping. I was told to print it out, affix it to the package and bring to my nearest Ed Ex to mail - once FedEx scans the PREPAID return label, the store would release my new item and ship it. . I did all of the above - the new item never shipped. I called 10 days later, they apologized and shipped it. They then charged my card again for the stocking AND another $8.50 shipping AND $6.50 for that PREPAID label (to return the first pair). The gentleman FORGOT to tell me that I, the customer, was the one Pre-Paying for the shipping label. So......my $36 pair of stockings cost $23.50 in shipping charges. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT ever exchange or return to Dillard's because YOU pay for each part of the shipping. Oh and by the way, I still do not even have the stockings in my possession yet!!! Absolutely horrible - I have NEVER experienced such with any store. As an FYI - I went into Ann Taylor as I noticed that everything in the store was 50% off. I asked if I could come back with my receipt for a price adjustment- they said "no need to come back. We can look it up with your MasterCard and give you the credit right now. It wasn't even an Ann Taylor credit card. Now that's Customer Service - I walked out with a $ 34 credit to my MasterCard. read more
